My hubs was hesitant to come back after his last session and especially after my review (he didn't know I was writing) but Elena & Jennifer helped him feel at ease of coming back and making it extremely flexible to rebook an appointment to come back in. Hubs went back to get the much needed deep pressure massage from Jennifer at The Spa Simply Skin. Both Elena and Jennifer were present to greet him. The ambiance of the room was serene as it was before. He keeps telling me about the nice Buddha in the massage room. Jennifer asked if the headrest area was ok was comfortable this time before proceeding. This time she asked about the massage pressure and if it was firm enough. She worked on getting his knots out which was greatly needed. She used a tool on his hands up/down his forearm that he said made him feel really good. He does repetitive work with his hands (handy electrician) and this helped relieve tension. I let the office know at 2:33 that I was 5 minutes away and arrived at 2:37, but I was told I could not be seen and had to reschedule. There was no one waiting, and my baby Botox appointments typically take about 10 minutes, so this was really disappointing given the distance I traveled. I also felt uncomfortable being lectured while I was scheduling the appointment initially about my treatment timing when I had already explained I received my last treatment in a different location on my face 2.5 months ago. I completely understand policies, but a small amount of flexibility in this situation would have made a big difference. Unfortunately, this experience makes me hesitant to return, which is disappointing because I really like the injector at this location.

I finally tried the lash and brow tinting and I am happy to say, and not at all surpised, that my eyes are popping!! I can't use eye make-up because of having Multiple/ Hyper Chemical Sensitivity and have been hesitant to try tinting for that reason. Super glad I finally decided to go for it; it was such an easy process and so relaxing! My eyes and skin did not have any adverse reaction whatsoever. Two weeks later and my lashes and brows still look great! Definitely adding these two services to my regular list! You gotta let your lashes grow back out and then not do much to them because you want them to not be damaged in the process, so major struggle. I had never gotten a lash lift previously, but her pictures were so good, so I decided to just take the chance. As a side note, I have pretty long lashes and they're a medium/dark brown already but more on the straight side. It's in a super cute location, quick to get their off of Folsom- easy parking. It smelled amazing when I walked in, like a field of lavender lol! So anyways back to what's important. She walked me through the entire process- explained each step and we went for it. She was so personable and friendly and made the process so enjoyable. And for the best part, I genuinely love my lashes! The only thing i would have changed was going darker but of course I was too nervous because I didn't know if they would look crazy! But they look amazing. Perfect curl, perfect length- natural looking but long! Highly recommend you go try it out if you're looking from transitioning to natural from extensions!
