There was no one waiting, and my baby Botox appointments typically take about 10 minutes, so this was really disappointing given the distance I traveled. I also felt uncomfortable being lectured while I was scheduling the appointment initially about my treatment timing when I had already explained I received my last treatment in a different location on my face 2.5 months ago. I completely understand policies, but a small amount of flexibility in this situation would have made a big difference. Unfortunately, this experience makes me hesitant to return, which is disappointing because I really like the injector at this location.

I understand things happen, however if I were to cancel day of I would be charged an "inconvenience fee" but if they decide to cancel it's just "I apologize for the inconvenience." Due to the limited hours they are open I started work early this morning and have had child care secured for weeks just so I can make it, only to see they have canceled my appointment. What a disappointment, I will not be rebooking and will find somewhere else that will hopefully value my time. What a waste of time, energy and effort on my part. Do better, or have backup providers. Truly a disappointing experience.

I consulted with two spas for Coolsculpting in late 2022 and chose Jeuvani because it was much cheaper. That was the first red flag. Dr. Cellucci, who works as an ER doctor in Oroville, CA, lends her name and license to this Folsom spa but does not reside or work there. Second red flag. (How is this legal?) I did not expect a miracle, just some improvement. The spa looked smaller and cheaper than any I'd ever seen - a couple chairs, a counter, an office manager and a couple technician/receptionists. Third red flag. The technicians said they were trained and certified by Allergan to provide Coolsculpting. I went through the procedure twice before stopping (a LOT of pain). The results were a nightmare. My arms looked twisted, pockmarked, slouchy, hideous, and not tighter at all. Looked like all the collagen was destroyed. When I returned to Jeuvani, one of the technicians said, "You're just making too much out of this. This is what our arms look like when we get older." My jaw hit the floor as they fully knew the damage they'd done. (This must be a scripted line they use when things are a mess.) They made it clear there would be no help from them. I contacted Allergan, but they said the provider had to file the complaint, which Jeuvani was not going to do. I planned to file a lawsuit for repair surgery costs but was diagnosed with breast cancer, which brought everything to a halt for quite a while, and the time is past now. But I hate to see any business get away with stuff like this because people stayed quiet. I share this to warn people who want to get Coolsculpting and/or go to Jeuvani Spa and Sculpting. Don't look to save money; go to a place with legitimate doctors (who care) on site with a long-time reputation to protect, even if it costs more. Be clear on what Plan B would be. A penny-ante operation like this one will leave you poorer and with nowhere to go if you get bad results. Read ALL the reviews. If there was a zero, that's what they'd get.

After looking at their website, along with many others, I ended up booking a consultation for Halo, as I was looking to treat acne scars. The info they had online was promising, including a description to "target your skin concerns on multiple levels to improve skin texture and clarity, improve visible signs of skin aging (fine lines and wrinkles), discoloration, the appearance of pores, acne scars, and even help delay or eliminate the need for surgical procedures". This, and after looking at their before and after image for results, I was sold. During the $100 consultation, I was told that Halo was not appropriate for my scarring as it did not go deep enough and was used to very superficial damage. Of course, it doesn't say that on the website, and they ended up pushing me to do another treatment, microneedling. And when I say they push, I mean the woman whom I was assigned to. She did not give good details, did not provide a treatment plan, not even before and after pictures of really what to expect. She did, however, was very throughout on the pricing. I decided to give it a try based on her recommendation- I mean, it is supposed to be a professional treatment that would improve my condition even if it is not what I originally wanted. I had three sessions, as recommended, and they all were different in terms of preparation. They had these young students who are there just to meet their hour requirements, and they go where they really want to work. So, prep and follow up was very inconsistent. After the last treatment, which was very rushed, there was no work from them about follow up, maybe another treatment plan, or even products to use long term- just nothing. I guess she must have made her buck already. So it has been over three months and, unfortunately, there has been no improvement overall on my skin. It was more sensitive and worse off. It did not look like anything had been done- it looked blotchy and reddish. So, No- don't trust this place when they try to direct you to their treatments. If you are coming through a doctor's referral and covered by insurance, then they may be more willing to get you the best results. Still, I'd be cautious about it.

For the most part I have had annual skin checks but the one time I had a procedure I also had a reaction to the medication. I called or came in, they advised me to discontinue the ointment and everything healed. So all my experiences have been very positive. I was caught off guard when Dr. Boparai walked in. I assumed I was seeing Dr. Champlin, but that was MY FAULT for not checking. Dr. Boparai said Dr. Champlin retired earlier this year. However, I decided to get them because they were having a special for $399 (which is 50% off). Lesson learned. I get them done & immediately knew they were uneven. I was so sad, but I was like it's fine maybe it will get better let them settle... Then I get an infection. They were amazing about that- in making sure I got abx that same day. Dr. Boparai wanted to see what was going on, so I go in the next day. She stated, this has never happened before... I was trying to show her where my lips where uneven, but it was near the site of infection. She said finish the abx, wait the two weeks, & we will go from there. So, I wait & scheduled my appt thinking I was getting more filler that day. However, there was some miscommunication & that appt became a consultation. She was saying with the discount & how much product she was using she's basically covering the cost... which I thought was REALLY unprofessional. She's not wrong, but this is your business & that shouldn't be any of your patient's concern. She ran the promotion, NOT ME. At this point, Dr. Boparai said she will reach out to the rep & let me know. She was able to get a syringe. Cool. I just wanted to get it over with because it has caused so much anxiety. I literally thought in my head... You mean for doing your job, which should have been done correctly the first time! So, here I am writing that Yelp review she asked for MULTIPLE TIMES Now she's injecting my bottom R lip & doesn't want to get too close to the borders (which is correct), but ends up putting it all in the corner of my mouth. AT THAT MOMENT I KNEW ohh SHE HAS NO IDEA WHAT SHE'S DOING! I told her to stop because it was going in the WRONG AREA. Now it was overfilled & more uneven then when we started. Mind you, Dr. Boparai HERSELF brought up the idea of having someone else come fix my lips, so I assumed that was still an option. I had already made up my mind I wouldn't let her touch me anymore, I just wanted someone who knew what they were doing TO MAKE MY LIPS EVEN. I called last Thursday & was advised to send pics & they will reach out to the reps & call me back. There was NO COMMUNICATION. At this point I felt like they were ghosting me. My friend was like do you want to call from my phone I started laughing because I'm like no I'm not in a toxic relationship. I shouldn't have to do that... This is supposed to be a professional business. They finally text me back on Wednesday (yesterday) almost a week later. She said she can remove them, but will not give me any additional filler. Okay that's fine I just want them back to normal. She tells me it will be $250 & went on to explain AGAIN how I got it for 50 % off plus the additional syringe. Again, not my fault they decided to do a promotion. Nope I'm done. I will pay to get them removed from a reputable lip injector. Like Dr. Boparai emphasized we both took financial losses.
