I'm genuinely saddened to write this review, but after over three years, I'm still dealing with the cosmetic issues left by this business. In 2021, I decided to address my uneven hairline using the MK Pro method, and my first session went well--I was happy with the results. However, during my third visit, everything took a turn for the worse. Instead of the usual hair stroke look we had been using, the technician opted for a "dotted" effect, which ended up covering my middle part and looked terrible. I immediately noticed how dark it was, and she assured me it would fade and look natural, but it never did. That was my last session, and I've been disappointed ever since. When I scheduled a follow-up to discuss fixes, the only advice I received was to visit a tattoo removal place. Overall, I spent about $800 on the procedure and around $1200 (still on going) on removal. What makes me the most upset is the lack of support after I reached out. My hairline looks ridiculous and is VERY obvious. I'm sharing this review to warn others that results can vary significantly and to emphasize the importance of understanding the implications of any cosmetic changes to your face. read more

Came for a skin tag removal, made the appt online and received a text confirming my apt date and time. You'll also get a message what to avoid 24 hours before having it removed. It has been about a year now & I have had a touch up since my first review. I was so excited to have finally found someone who could give me real, natural looking brows with realistic hair strokes. Only to find out after my brows had healed they would look blotchy and blended together. When I went in for my touch up, Maryam noticed my brows had blended and offered a complimentary service if it happened again. Well, sadly it did. When I reached out to Maryam, her assistant advised she had said it was only good for 30 days ( which was NEVER explained to me ) or I would have contacted her ASAP, I didn't go years without contacting her, but maybe 3 months? So I want to rewrite my review, but leave out any tongue-in-cheek remarks or silly lightheartedness in my commentary, it's a review it should be based on opinion, accuracy and facts. I'm happy for the owner to re-read, and re-respond, I believe that is absolutely fair. I go in and wait with some numbing cream for half an hour. I wasn't entirely numb, but numbing a while is standard practice. The owner is very nice, perfectly friendly and inviting. Her office is clean. I appreciate that she is a local business woman, and trying to create a brand for herself, commendable. I pick my color, and we begin. We are chatting, laughing and having a nice appointment, no doubt it is a comfortable atmosphere. When she finishes the first eyebrow, she allows me to see it, and straight away I knew that this particular method of superficial deposits of ink under the skin-called the MK pro method- was just not my cup of tea. I am used to microblading, so I like very thin and fine, feather-lite hair strokes, closer together like real hair looks. As mentioned this is not microblading, this is a totally different technique that seems to be popular with many other ladies here on yelp. FYI-I have been getting microblading done for over five years now. To me it presented a very unnatural look, immediately. I didn't say anything because it was too late, so I allowed her to finish the other eyebrow, continue to be friendly of course -paid her and left. It was immediate to me I chose too dark a color, but I realized it would fade as I have been getting my brows done for many years now. It was not exactly the placement of the hair strokes that was necessarily the issue for me, it was how thick and far apart they were. Thinner hair strokes look natural, these ones did not. When I got home and showed them off, I didn't need to say a word, everyone could see they were definitely not like I normally get them done. I look up online after I've taken my pictures, the following day, on how to help pull up and fade the pigment right away, so I used a gentle glycolic and vitamin C exfoliating face wash, and washed over them. Not over fresh wounds, it was once they were scabbed. The point of that was to exfoliate to get the colored scabbing off, so they could re-heal with natural scabs produced from my body without the additional pigment. In my initial review, I mentioned I scrubbed the heck out of them, I did not actually do that. It was said tongue-in-cheek, but when reviewing it's probably better to leave little jokes, and playful comments like that aside. I wash them the one time like I read to do online then I immediately put ointment. I just wanted to clarify, that I could tell this was not the style for me *immediately*, and that I followed certain steps for how to help them fade a little faster. No damage caused, no different looking than how they usually heal a day or two after being done. I realize they get dark when they scab, I actually think they look the best straight after they are done, so I knew I was in a little bit of trouble when my first reaction upon seeing them, in the studio, was 'uh-oh'.This is my personal opinion, business owner was quite pleasant, just technique was not for me. Thank you again Maryam, you are professional business owner. * I have enclosed one picture that was taken directly after the procedure was finished. I had not touched or washed my face at all yet. As you can see the lines are a bit thicker and spaced apart, unlike with traditional microblading. It is mentioned numerous times that her technique is not microblading, but rather her own method. The tip of the ink deposit device was probably just too large, hence the thick hair strokes. *** a week later they have now turned BLUE!! Dark brown is now blue. Craziest part of all was after she showed me the first eyebrow, I asked her point blank why they looked blue. She said it was the lighting, I'm thinking about contacting a lawyer, my eyebrows will need laser tattoo removal to get this pigment out, that is incredibly expensive! NIGHTMARE! read more

3 years ago I religiously got my eyelash extensions done. Over the course of 2 years, my natural eyelashes became brittle &started thinning &/or falling out consistently. After some research, I found out about lash lifts. They are not as full of volume or diva-esque as lash extensions(due to the fact that you are working with just your natural eyelashes). However, they are less maintenance and a great alternative if you are looking or feel more comfortable in your skim & take the next step towards loving yourself(if I can say that...). I took my mother here as a Christmas present. My mom is super particular with how she wants her eyebrows and really sensitive to pain. We checked in and waited about 30 minutes for her brows to numb. DON'T GO TO HER She's really nice and everything, but she's not as good as she claims to be. She will only do you brows nicely and make them super perfect if you have a lot of followers or you're a CELEBRITY (obviously!! Bc they have more audience/followers). She takes way too long to reply and some times doesn't even reply at all. I went to her a while ago, and when I got there (at my appointment time) she was still working with someone else. I waited outside her studio a little over 30mins (30mins already past my appointment). She put numbing cream and made me wait a little longer so she can finish up her previous client. Took a while to draw my eyebrows and she didn't use a string or anything to measure your eyebrows, which I thought was super weird. They looked even when she drew them out (after obviously many attempts later) and so we began. AFTER she was done, she handed me the mirror and to my HORROR THEY WERE UNEVEN. One side was too thick and the other was too thin. One brow was LONGER and the other brow was shorter. One looks like a block and way too squared. I expressed to her they were uneven and she just told me to buy concealer and to come back next touch up ($80) so she can fix it. Yes, I was really told to buy concealer lmao. Why would I pay $80 + tip for something wrong you did? Hun, what makes you think i'm going to come back? Lmao Also, they have already TURNED RED/BROWN as they are fading? Pictures don't lie! I even have texts proofs that I went to her if you guys don't believe me still. Of course on her instagram, you're going to see all the good brows she did.
