This is the best place in folsom to get Japanese head spa . Kristin and parisa both are best with their work .

So far, I've had two different services at Skinique studios - a 90 minute facial by Parisa & Combo brows done by Jocy. I was so so sooo impressed with the customer service, flexibility, service provided and how gorgeous the salon is. About my facial - Parisa took her time 'getting to know' my skin and how to customize my facial to best suite my needs. I was so comfortable and relaxed during my facial & it even included a neck, face & shoulder massage! Parisa shared skin care advice, gave me skin care product samples and even checked in to see how my skin was doing a few days after. Overall, my skin looked much healthier, over the next 2 weeks my acne cleared & my pores were smaller! About my brows - the pictures are worth a thousand words. I get so many compliments on my brows. I was really hesitant because it's 'permanent' but it was honestly the best investment!! Jocy was so sweet & really took her time to make sure everything turned out exactly as I wanted. She made sure I was comfortable the entire time & it didn't hurt at all!

01/25/18 was before I had facials. 11/24/19 was right before I had my first facial 4/7/20 was after 4 months of consecutive facials

Parisa is hands down the best esthi in town. I discovered her through social media back in 2019 and have been going to her consistently on a 4-6 week basis! She makes you feel welcomed, comfortable and cared for! I will never not see her! I attached my before and a after, I dealt with a lot of under the skin acne! This is the most comfortable I felt in my own skin after years of dealing with it! I recommend family and friends to her and they all love her just as much as I do! One thing I love is she never pushes any products on you so when you ask her genuinely what she recommends you know she's not just trying to sell you everything, she recommends products catered to your skin... I can go on and on about PARISA but I think you guys get the point!

Parisa is the best. She has helped my skin immensely. She has been professional and has always worked with my schedule. I love the HydraFacial. The skincare products she carries are also what I use now for my skin regimen. I always enjoy my visits with Parisa, she is just the sweetest. My skin has changed for the better because of her.

6/6/2025 Thank you…read moreElena and Jennifer for reaching out to my husband. We greatly appreciate the explanation with the appointment system and the willingness to get my hubs back on the schedule for the massage he signed up for. My hubs was hesitant to come back after his last session and especially after my review (he didn't know I was writing) but Elena & Jennifer helped him feel at ease of coming back and making it extremely flexible to rebook an appointment to come back in. Hubs went back to get the much needed deep pressure massage from Jennifer at The Spa Simply Skin. Both Elena and Jennifer were present to greet him. The ambiance of the room was serene as it was before. He keeps telling me about the nice Buddha in the massage room. Jennifer asked if the headrest area was ok was comfortable this time before proceeding. This time she asked about the massage pressure and if it was firm enough. She worked on getting his knots out which was greatly needed. She used a tool on his hands up/down his forearm that he said made him feel really good. He does repetitive work with his hands (handy electrician) and this helped relieve tension. I appreciate and want to thank both Elena and Jennifer for ensuring my husband was comfortable and ensuring he was content with the massage service that you offer. I'm looking forward to booking my session! :)

Normally, customers are not allowed to bring electronics and devices past a certain point because the whole concept of the bathhouse is to unwind and step away from the busyness of everyday life. It it absolutely necessary to do so at times and this place truly helps to relax and reset. Urban baths Folsom is the first franchise offshoot from the popular Asha Urban Baths in Sacramento (which is also a great place but that's for another review). Guests check in and go into a coed changing area to lock up their belongings and change into something comfortable (swimsuit or another water outfit). Shoes are provided, towels can be rented for a nominal price. Once changed, with all electronics squared away, one may then enter the bathhouse. The main room is wheelchair accessible and contains both a massive warming pool and a smaller pool to the side that's much colder. The idea is to repeat a process that is proven to be very beneficial for the body--soak in the warming pool, sweat in either the steam room (pictured while it is off, but this room gets VERY steamy) or the sauna (smells so good in there!), and then cold plunge in the cold pool. Guests can repeat the process as many times as they would like. There are showers for rinsing off sweat before going back into the pools so if a cold plunge isn't your thing, you can turn the shower water a bit cooler and rinse off that way too. There are also lounge chairs and big bean bag chairs for people to sit in and converse in library-appropriate voices. The bathhouse isn't the only activity. There is also a sound immersion or a salt lounge experience. I've done the salt lounge and it's a very relaxing 45 minute session with two hour access to the bathhouse after. There's also a massage experience one can book--again, the bathhouse is there for once the session is over. I personally love this place. The staff are so friendly and the aesthetic really does make a person feel they have stepped away from the world for a time. I like being disconnected from my phone. The water temp is always perfect for me. The scents and the music and the ambience are just what I need to get away. It's great knowing such a nice, female-owned gem is only just down the road for me to visit whenever I feel life becoming too overbearing.

You used to get a nice foot bath while waiting in the waiting room. After COVID occurred, they got rid of the foot bath which was fine since I still love the atmosphere and I always get the full 90 minutes massage even with the massage therapist running late. Recently they have an online booking system which makes it really convenient. However the price has gone up for their services. My last massage at this spa turned into a deal breaker. I always booked a 90 minutes massage and this last one I only received 75 minutes of massage time. While massage therapist Breana was great during the massage. She was late for 10 minutes and by the time I changed and liked on the table, I probably only got 75 minutes or less of the 90 minutes I booked. After the massage, I was checking out at the front desk, the we're loud conversations from the break room on the side with massage therapist saying loudly "dang, bla...bla...bla", which was totally off putting and some of the massage therapist were a bit rough around the edges. I can put up with all the things they did such as raising g prices, skipping the foot bath, loud and inappropriate conversations from the break room. The major deal breaker for me is the therapist showing up to my appointment late and gave me less than 75 minutes of the 90 minutes massage I booked. Therefore I will try out other places and probably won't be coming back as a regular customer.

We booked about a week out so I was thrilled that they were able to accommodate our party of 7. Upon arrival we were greeted in the cute little lobby, escorted to the lounge area and given our choice of mimosas or regular beverage. We were shown a small room that had a bag, robe and slipper with our names on it for us to change into. Once we were changed we got to sit and enjoy each other's company in a cozy little lounge area until the missuses came to get us two by two. The massage was AMAZING and definitely worth the drive we had to take to get there. When I tell you I had to tell her in the middle of my massage "I don't know what it is your doing, but that feels amazing!" believe me!!!!!!! -- because whew chile!!!! She loosened up my back in a way I had yet to experience. We received 60 minute massages and then headed back into the lounge area to receive our foot soaks while two other people in our party were escorted into the massage rooms. That water, those rocks, and moisturizing oils felt so good y'all. Oh Em Gee! And someone came in and refilled it every time it thought about getting warm. Another thing I really liked was the cute little charcuterie-like board they offered us during the foot soak (oranges, cheese, crackers, chocolate). I wish it had more variety on it, but it was a nice touch to us relaxing. We were there for maybe 2 1/2 hours and it costed $150 pp. I tipped $30 because the massage was so good, so all in all I paid about $180. WELL WORTH THE PRICE!!! I definitely plan to return. May bring my husband or my Mom. Thank you Megan for not only accommodating us, but for the top tier service for both you and your staff. I'll definitely be back.... and plan to tell others about it.

They have women's and men's locker rooms to change into a robe and sandals. One thing that I didn't love was how small the women's locker room was. When there are three or more people in there changing, it's a little bit too close if you don't know the other people there. After changing, they have a relaxation room where you can calm down and wait for your masseuse. I was a little bit uncomfortable waiting, as when I entered the room, there was a man who was fully dressed and on his phone while sitting there. As a woman in nothing but a robe, it made me uncomfortable that he was on his phone just sitting there. I'm sure he meant no harm, but I would have liked it more if phones weren't allowed. It would be more relaxing. The massage itself was wonderful. I had Mira, and she did a great job releasing some of my tension in my shoulders and neck. She did some nice stretches during it too. I especially enjoyed the heated packs she put on my back and neck throughout. After finishing the massage, you are offered water, champagne, or a mimosa, and can go back to relax in the relaxation room. Overall, I really enjoyed my massage and think it will help my body feel better. Just wish the relaxation room was phone free for peace of mind.
