I tried to clarify asking, how much is it going to be? He said, "the price I quoted earlier", which in my mind was 160. I would request the staff to quote the figures clearly more than once in words that non native speakers can understand. It feels like they took advantage of me. Feels very icky. And this took almost 4 hours. If you bring the car for a small thing like an oil change, be on the watch for a long process of expensively unnecessary things to be done to your car. I'm taking responsibility of not double checking the prices with you and probing further on the "the price I just gave you earlier" when you're throwing 17 technical teens at me. I brought them a two page readout from an express oil change place I'd used just for my oil change. The guys at Almost Auto Service were kind enough to check out my car for any routine maintenance and repairs as well as walk me through why the recommended services from the express place were largely made up to drive up the bill. Never a complaint, never questioned the pricing and the work was always done in a timely, professional manner. In December of 2022 I returned for a front end alignment and when dropping off the vehicle I asked where Shad was and was told he was out. Well he was indeed out. He had sold the business to a new crew and I should have figured that out when it took three weeks to get my car back. When I did get my car back, the leather wrapped steering wheel was filthy with grease as was the drivers seat and armrest. And they had managed to burn up three quarters of a tank of fuel leaving my fuel light on when I drove away. Insult to injury they had not even done the alignment. They also managed to not do several hundred more dollars of work that I was charged for. Forget all the positive reviews which are regarding the work done by the wonderful previous owners. This robbing crew needs to be avoided. I can't fathom how some people can be so dishonest.

The service advisor, Temara is very knowledgeable and patient. She gives detailed explanations of the work and the priority of the service needed. She uses Carfax for a service history and is able to give you a pricing plan so that you can prioritize your payments. Also Tamera has been extremely helpful, giving advice on used vehicles that I've purchased and it's service history. All women in particular should feel very confident with this repair shop. I was on the highway 300 miles away when my tire almost fell off my car with my two and four year old inside. They were the last people to touch the car before a road trip. I even came back and asked them to check out some noises and lack of power. Turns out, I was leaking transmission fluid. When I brought this up to them, They apologized and then went on to question who might have been have unsuccessfully trying to steal my wheel or sabotage my life. Disregarding responsibility for a thourogh job and safety. Offensive lack of ownership. I bring this up because I cringe every time I pass either shop.
