    Bday lunch ...

Busy today. Country Cafe feel. Not very welcoming. No one greeted us, even when seated. (- ) They all looked upset .. Not sure what happened since the last time we went there... downgraded.. Chocolate milk is instant, & barely warm. Orange juice was sour(expired!! How they didn't serve it to anyone else) waitress seemed to be annoyed and not care and it took 5 minutes to return with a soda ‍. I understand busy, but obviously they didn't have it together. Rushing don't make things better. (-) Biscuits was too dense, gravy too thick and pasty, and didn't taste "right".. something missing .. omelets dish was good and so were sides of bacon and fruit cup. (-) Girl with gold butterfly hair clip and pants with pink bows on was the only positivity there. Look, no one asked some of yall to work there- its customer service! I didnt even owe u the tip I left.

Home country cooking and decor in this restaurant in Yuma. Super friendly service. Generous portions for reasonable prices. Nothing fancy, just a good old fashioned menu and diner.

My sister and I were in town to do the tube float on the river. We stopped at Brownie's for breakfast. I love finding an old diner that's been in the community for years, this was it. They were busy and we still got seated quickly and had excellent service. I had the ground beef with scrambled eggs and toast with hash browns. My sister had scrambled eggs and hash browns. Both were delicious and were left full before we headed to the float on the river. Next time we're in town we'll be back!

If you are looking for a good ole American breakfast in Yuma this is your spot. Great size portion and decent prices. I got the French toast it came with 4 halved slices of French toast, two eggs which I requested for cheese on top, and two sausage patties. The French toast by itself wasn't sweet, but it was really fluffy. My eggs and sausage were nicely done. I will definitely be back.

It's my first time here. And I absolutely LOVE it. I'm pretty sure the chicken fried steak is made in house. Which makes it so much more delicious. The coffee was good. The meal was a great size I ate everything. Hash browns was cooked to perfection. No oil on the plate. This place is great. It will now be my go to place when I stop in town. I love the decorations that takes you back in time.

Stopped in with crew for a Sunday Brunch. First time at Brownie's Cafe and was not disappointed!. Place was packed with locals and we were quickly seated. Brownie's has been around since 1946. Great breakfast selections. I had the the steak and eggs with the 6 ounce sirloin. The place is decorated old school and what you would expect for a Cafe. The hash browns were crispy, the biscuit was fresh out of the oven. The steak and eggs were very good. Everyone was a happy camper. Prices were reasonable. Will be back on next trip through Yuma!

Hometown Cafe type of place. Reasonable prices and good food. Been in business over 50 years in Yuma. See my YouTube channel Coolest Life.

The biscuits and gravy was the worst that I have ever had. The only thing worse was the poor service.

My girlfriend was supposed to have her car serviced at the dealership today. A wrench was thrown in the works, so the three of us met for breakfast. My boyfriend and I had already had breakfast, so we ordered off the lunch menu. I had a fried chicken sandwich, he had the chicken Caesar wrap. GF got the churro French toast breakfast plate with poached eggs and bacon. The waitress (Caitlin?) didn't pay much attention to our table. When we got our food, the fried chicken breast in the sandwich was lukewarm and she didn't ask about any sauce (ranch, etc) for the onion rings. The lady had to ask for the poached eggs and bacon. Also, she ordered an iced mocha with oat milk and caramel. Correct me if I'm wrong, but nowhere on the menu did it say that oat milk is an additional cost. Caramel was an additional cost. For a puny little iced coffee it ended up being $10. No refills. And we had to ask for ranch. She filled up my boyfriend's water glass and not mine. If it's empty, fill it. It's a hundred and something outside, please make sure all your guests are hydrated. The bill was $70. The lunches were extremely overpriced for what we got, to be honest. I know that prices have gone up and that inflation is a thing. I get that, I really do. The chicken sandwich was definitely not worth $15 and although the onion rings were good (and I'm thankful we weren't charged extra for them), it was still a letdown. This was akin to a $12 combo meal at a fast food joint. The first time I was here was a couple months ago. I had ordered the Denver omelette and when the waitress came out, she brought the wrong omelette ,(the three meat) out and didn't even try to correct her mistake even AFTER I had said it was wrong. That waitress was also inattentive and ignored us for the majority of our meal. We don't eat out a whole lot so it's a treat when we do. Less of a treat to receive subpar, overpriced food and subpar service. Sorry.

There is a refinement to La Cocina and yet it's a relaxed environment with lovely contemporary Hispanic instrumental music. An outdoor patio offers Second floor views of what keeps Agriculture epic. Today newly planted fields were being watered with sprinklers and others beyond were fresh with new green! Look to the west and the view is of a proud Arizona community with lush tree tops rising above. Care has been taken in the decor of this comfortable establishment quite suitable for a casual ladies brunch or a business lunch. Chips and salsa are served in an elevated manner from what we have come to expect. Place settings are clean and glassware l The menu offers lighter versions of Rellenos, tacos and tortilla and lettuce wraps even Burgers! Slices of cake are ample, cheesecake and tiramisu are also available! Tuna tacos were the special but as I am a big fan of Rellenos the Au Gratin Tuna Chili Rellenos appealed to me. Never in a million years would I have combined my mothers tuna salad recipe minus pickles with Ortega style green chilies. A salad of lettuce and two thick slices of tomatoes were dressed with a delicate oil and vinegar combo. I might not order this dish again but it was light and yummy. The Sowthwestern Chicken Salad with a double baked potato sounded yummy too! Starbucks beverages are featured and the prices for coffee beverages are excellent! Yep it's back by popular demand but it's now called egg in a nest. What the heck? Anyway every one ordered something different and we ate to our hearts content and had no complaints whatsoever about the food, the ambiance or the cleanliness. Chicken fried chicken dinner evaporated from his plate. The burger and onion petals seemed to have delighted the nephew. One of the ladies in our party seemed happy with her chicken strips, which were more than abundant! Another ordered a diet plate of some sort with cottage cheese and sliced tomatoes and was especially happy. A new item on the menu appealed to another. Louisiana shrimp skillet. Was flavorful, and those who tasted the nice portion of shrimp agreed that it was surprisingly delicious. The side, dishes of okra, and greens are always favorites. All of us commented on the new menu. Although we missed the old format, this one is easier to hold, and the print is bold enough that you're not needing to use your flashlight if you're older like we are. We are thankful that the menu has the old favorites, something new and that Cracker Barrel values its customers. It's such a nice thing to be able to travel and dine at any location and feel like your unfamiliar surroundings. But I wonder why is that there are so many locals who freely admit that they have never yet dined here? One maintenance issue... the latch on the ladies handicap stall door is STILL needing to be fixed! One issue with our visit. Not once were we offered refills on beverages.
