This place is called Brown's Park. No, it's not a park. It's not a mini-park. It's not even a micro-park. I don't care what you call this place, it is not a park. Let me tell you what it is. As you stroll along the right side of PCH going southbound, just shortly after you pass the beach and going slightly uphill, you'll pass by an alley with a bronze sign that says "Brown's Park". You will most likely miss it -- just like we have missed it the last dozen or so times that we've been there. But if you pay attention to every alley and every sign along the way that you walk, you'll turn right into an alley about 100 yards long which leads to a small lookout, which is an excellent photo stop. The first shot: Have your subject stand at the center of the lookout, aim and shoot straight ahead and you'll have the entire ocean as the background. The second shot: Turn your camera 45 degrees to the right and you'll have the beach as your background. Snap. Snap. That's it. Then exit through the alley and continue your journey!

Brown's Park is one of those hidden gems of Laguna Beach. This tiny park is located between the Wyland Gallery and Laguna Village. I came here on a Sunday afternoon and there was nobody here. In my opinion, I think this would be the perfect place to bring a date; Brown's is very quiet, serene, and beautiful. If you make your way through it, you will see one of the most breath-taking views of Laguna Beach.

I would call this place a mini-park. It is a quaint alleyway with a nice bench area that looks out to the Pacific Ocean and Laguna's Main Beach. Brown's Park is a place you wouldn't drive out of your way to visit, but you absolutely MUST stop at if you see it while taking a stroll on the south coast highway. The place is calming and serene. The story behind the park's donation to the city is sweet as well (look it up!). This is a great place for photo ops, whether it's done professionally for your engagement album, or taken on your cell phone for your profile picture. Like the rest of Laguna, the scenery is spectacular.

Such a cute alley-like way which makes up this park which overlooking Main Beach and the Pacific Ocean with public art work on display. Some lovely metal chairs and table and fencing that is kinda like Frank Llyod Wright's style.

    Nice look out
