Browns Valley Dental is by the far the kindest and most hospitality forward environment I have ever been to. The front desk staff are so kind, encouraging, accommodating, and ease any stress you have going to the dentist. Billing procedures have been straight forward and overly accommodating, and going to previous dental offices I had really high anxiety about the whole experience, and this is the first time I have not felt that way in a dental office. I have always been extremely hesitant and nervous about going to the dentist, but my experience at Brown's Valley Dental changed everything. From the moment I walked in, the front desk team Erika , Nicole, and Isabel were welcoming and professional. The technician who took my x-rays Melissa was incredibly patient, and the dentist Dr Nakashima was phenomenal. Dr. Lynne and Dr. Chung are simply amazing! Their whole team is so personable and sincere. My children were completely terrified of going to the dentist, but Dr. Lynne provides the absolute perfect environment for them.For my son who is very sensitive to noises, she offers comfort by having him wear headphones to listen to music or watch a kids' show. It completely distracts him from the dental chair! She is also incredibly patient, giving him all the time he needs for procedures and cleanings., Dr. Chung has also given me direct guidance about my treatment, showing a level of care and medical insight that goes above and beyond. He has given me guidance that my teeth can look amazing. I cannot recommend this office enough! Going to the dentist isn't often at the top of people's favorite things to do but the whole team at BVD go above and beyond to make each visit great. Erica and Nicole are amazing and greet you with such warmth and kindness (I look forward to seeing them every 6 months)! Espy is both my husband's and my fav hygienist. She is thorough but delicate - the true perfect combo. I haven't had any major dental work done yet but our friends who recommended BVD to us have and say that they have never trusted a dentist more than Dr. Chung. NICOLE IS THE REAL MVP OF BROWNS VALLEY DENTAL! I had a hard time getting a dentist for my daughter. I reached out to browns valley dental and nicole walked me through everything, got us in on a cancelation, made my experience less stressful during our family's very difficult timeat the moment. Wr have been coming her for extensive work on my 11 yr old and nicole has been so fantastic with notes for school, billing and helping organize orthodontist appointments for wire remove for work to be done at browns valley dental. She is such an up beat delight that brightens my day every interaction that I have with her at browns valley dentel. She's just that person who brightens your day will simple kindness and positive. She goes above and beyond! There's a saying that a simple act of kindness can change someone's entire day. Nicole is that person. The dentist has been so helpful in aspects of preventive care, to what we can do at home to prevent cavities and gum care. Even prescribing prescription tooth paste that no other dental office has even offered. I'm so pleased with the care my daughter is getting. Best. Dentist. Ever. I've been to enough dentists to know that BVD is really one of the best dental offices you will ever experience (whatever you do don't go to that ridiculous Napa dental office where they offer foot massages and cheap spa services... They are like used car sales people ... BVD is the real deal with caring staff). Peter is genuine and personable and his staff is so customer service oriented that you feel like a friend of their family instead of a number, when you go in for dental work. My boyfriend took his son to Peter's wife for pediatric dental work in Sonoma and she was lovely as well (apparently she works in Sonoma and Napa and is sweet as can be. His son loved her). Just had a root scaling with Lisa today & she literally made it almost enjoyable. They are very sensitive to those who hate / fear coming to the dentist like me... and they make it very easy to make an appointment and to get in and out in a reasonable time period. Reasonable rates too. Cute, clean and comfortable offices located right next to Browns Valley Market. Love these guys! read more

I walked in ten minutes ago to make an appointment as a new client. The place was completely empty, not a soul in any seat nor did I hear any dentist office sounds at 9:00 a.m. when an office should have some activity. The very nasty (word that rhymes with witch) at the front desk informed me that the completely empty place was booked through July! Guess she doesn't like older people. So, I ask for a referral. She DEMANDS to know whether I have insurance and what kind. When I say DD, she says they have a provider list online. All this while, she is sighing and being impatient, like I am keeping her from doing her nails or something. When I ask if the doctors prefer any dentist they personally know, she says that SHE, not the doctors, DOES NOT give referrals. I assume the dentists are competent and friendly but if they are wondering why they aren't getting new customers, I would look at the nasty-ass receptionist. read more

I'm a new first time mother, and it was disheartening to have my daughter not latch immediately. Upon consultation with several lactation specialists, they suggested that my daughter maybe tongue tied. I was referred to a pediatric ENT specialist, BUT we decided to entrust our 4 weeks old daughter to the care of Dr. Lynne Hsia. She was amazing. I was extremely nervous with the procedure on my newborn, but Dr. Hsia was professional and thorough. She was very patient, gentle, kind, and very receptive to a mother's worries. I had a crown put in when I was 16-17 years old at Browns Valley Dental. Year 3 into the crown a dentist noticed it didn't fit right after we moved but the option to fix it was too costly. There was a large gap in the back of the crown. I remember they had a very hard time installing the crown, fitting the crown, and handling the procedure in general. After living with pain and a gap in the crown for so long it has become infected and the tooth has to be removed. They were adamant more so on trying to get my mother to pay for "conjoining cavities" where they believed I had like 11 cavities all joined together in between the teeth. This was far from the truth I have only had 2 diagnosed cavities in nearly a decade since. I have had to live in pain due to their poorly aligned crown they never wanted to fix. I think the practice has a new dentist now, but either way I would never want to go to an office with such disgusting business practices. Thanks for stealing my mother's hard earned money when I was a teen leaving me in pain with a defective porcelain crown on my tooth number 2. Who puts porcelain crowns on back molars anyhow? read more

I've had dental work done by the new doctor at Browns Valley Dental and have experianced nothing less than professionalizim from the whole staff. I feel sorry for Lilliana H. who had a bad experiance in the past but it doesn't seem right to complain about something that has no direct reflection of the current doctor's excellant work ethics and caring demenor. He always comes in to say, " Hi, how is everything, can I help you with anything today", even if I'm not scheduled to see him on that particular day. He really know's how to make his patients feel special. So again Lilliana I feel sorry for you but your issues are with the doctor who did your crown and not the current doctor and trully has no business being posted here!! read more
