I was given an appointment with the owner's daughter. I already have my eyeliner done both…read moretop/bottom as well as my eyebrows and I'd had them touched-up by the same person in Chgo. for 20 years. As I was now living in Florida, this would be my first experience w/someone else. First, she was 20 minutes late in arriving to the appt. Second, she didn't bother to even introduce herself. She asked me to follow her into the room, looked over my face never saying ONE WORD. Her attitude was such that she appeared to be bothered that she had to come in to take care of me. Third, after I told her I wanted my eyeliner touched up she proceeded to take out her instruments and mix colors w/out having any conversation with me about what I wanted/needed colors, nothing. When I did start to discuss w/her, she was condescending and proceeded to explain to me that she had been tattooing since she was 15 and snarked about already knowing what she was doing before even receiving her certification (as if to say "shut up I know what I'm doing") and proceeded to absolutely JACK UP my eyeliner (top and bottom). 1. She made my line thicker (though I never asked her to). 2. She was so heavy handed with the needle that the ink ended up migrating both above and below. 3. I ended up having to go back 3xs in an attempt to fix the ink migration. 4. I never was able to get the shaky hand/crooked liner fixed. I had to call and speak w/her mother (the owner) to explain myself, and have this disaster fixed. I did not want her daughter to touch me! But the owner insisted her daughter was the best person to fix this issue. After the 3rd visit to attempt to fix the migration, COVID kicked-in. I was never able to go back as I ended up moving out of state (and quite frankly I just didn't want her to touch my face anymore). Honestly, her entire attitude that day was as though she'd had a fight w/her partner and took it out on my face. Needless to say, my ink is still migrated in some places and if you look closely, you can see her shaky hand in her line work. THE WORST!! She should lose her license (and consider buying herself a nicer personality). My opinion. Don't go. It's not inexpensive and more importantly, it's YOUR FACE! It's the fist thing people see and if you want yours to not end up like mine, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU GO ELSEWHERE FOR THIS PROCEDURE.

After booking online (vagaro.com/lashandbody was the only way to book online), I received a text stating that we needed to pay $20 per person to reserve the booking, and that amount would be applied to our service. Subsequently, I received several annoying reminder texts, one of which mentioned that the location had changed to inside a salon at a different address. Upon arrival, it was not a Lash Lounge as advertised but a salon that looked VERY different from the advertisement. Employees were sleeping in the waiting room. The individual who did our lashes showed up and took us to what appeared to be a storage room. During our session, a loud carpet cleaner was being operated, even banging against the door of the room. When I went to pay, I was informed that the balance was $160 ($79 x 2). I tipped $40, bringing my total to $200. A few days later, my Venmo statement showed the $40 reservation fee was also charged, making the total for services $200 ($100 each instead of $79). I reached out to Marienne twice to inquire about this charge, but received no response. I would not recommend this service due to misleading branding, location, prices, and communication. It is unclear if Lash&Body Lounge is aware that their brand is being used to promote her services.
