I want to write the review I wish I had found before I booked…read more I did not walk into this casually. I thought about getting extensions for a long time, researched them, saved for them, and chose this stylist believing that at that price point the work would be done correctly. I spent roughly a thousand dollars. I wore them for one week before I had to have them taken out. Here is what I wish someone had told me. The placement. I had tabs at the top of both ears on both sides, and tabs up on my crown near my part. Every professional resource I have read since says those areas get left out, because the hair there is finer, it is under the most tension, and it is where extensions show. Because of where mine were, I could not tuck my hair behind my ear. I could not wear my hair up at all, including a low ponytail, without the tabs showing and pulling. The pain. They hurt from the first day. A week in I was still getting headaches from the tension. That is not something you should be expected to tolerate, and I did not know that at the time. The cut. There was none. Tape-in wefts come all one length, and blending them into your own hair with a cut is a standard part of a finished install. Mine were never cut. Worn straight, my hair looked blunt and choppy, like a bad haircut. The only way it looked acceptable was curled to hide it. What happened when I raised it. I was asked whether I had cut the hair myself. I had not touched it. I was then told that if I wanted a smoother look when wearing it straight, I would need to buy another pack of hair. In multiple exchanges, the placement at my ears and crown was never addressed, and the word cut was never used once. I was willing to work with her. Being met with a question about whether I had altered the hair, rather than a question about whether I was okay, is what ended it for me. I would not feel comfortable going to another appointment. To be fair, she was polite and responsive, and the hair itself was good quality. This is not about her being unkind. If you are considering extensions here, ask before you book: Is a blend cut included in the price? Where exactly will the tabs be placed relative to my hairline, ears, and crown? Will I be able to wear a ponytail? Get the answers before you pay.

We've made an appointment with one of the professional Alina. The very first impression is the magical feeling of being in a total different place than Orlando. I mean we do live in The City Beautiful but this Winter park hidden gem is whole new level. I can't even describe the beauty and aesthetics YOU HAVE TO COME AND SEE FPR YOURSELVES!!! The place is immaculately clean and well kept. My sister received the consultation and had all her questions answered. LOTS AND LOTS OF USEFUL INFORMATION!!! The whole process took about 4 hours during which we got know Alina and she is absolutely amazing. She seriously reminded me one of the Disney Princesses, beautiful kind and hardworking! I've got my consultation as well and guess what! they've changed my mind about the perm! After hair analysis I was explained all the pros and cons and in this case I would simply damage my hair for no good reason. I greatly appreciate the honesty even though the professionals could make money on it but I would be left with terrible results. I am coming back for a haircut though so in the end they did get two more loyal clients. Highly recommend this place and all the ladies whom we've met were amazing! When she moved to SLC a couple of years ago, I would see her every few months when she was back home. Now that she's moved back to Orlando, she can never get rid of me! Ever since Megan has been doing my hair I have gotten so many compliments and random strangers asking for my colorist's contact info. A few things to note: Color that looks this natural and flawless takes time. Expect to be at the salon for a couple of hours, but fret not, Megan is a great hang! She's traveled the world and lived everywhere, so don't be shy about your own travels and places you'd like to visit, because my girl has got recommendations! I can't recommend this sweet soul's work enough. She's an artist and will not lead you astray (or let you lead yourself astray with requests for color that won't suite you).
