I docked a few stars off for difficulty scheduling appointments for fills, and for not replying to dm's and emails. I understand she is the only tech doing lashes and she's popular and books quickly, but as a newbie to lashes, the scheduling process was not easy. I needed an appointment for a fill 2-3 weeks after my full set and was unable to get an appointment until 4-5 weeks after. On top of that, communication was lacking as she did not reply to my messages. Unfortunately, I will be going elsewhere where I can get appointments regularly. I went to get eyelashes for the first time about a year ago and to this day I still go to Angelina. She's amazing because: 1. When I got my eyelashes done the first time, i went on my honeymoon to a place with PEAK humidity and also went snorkeling / swimming in the ocean with them. The first set of lashes lasted for over 6 weeks despite all the abuse I put them through! 2. Angelina made me feel super comfortable and was incredibly efficient. Being a brown girl with a lot of hair, I definitely had a LOT of lashes. She spent a little over 2 hours on my extensions and they look dramatic but not tacky every time. 3. The prices are so much better at this location than other places. I've had friends get cheaper lashes through Groupons in their area and their lashes don't last as long or look as good at this place. All my friends I've referred to this place have stayed with Angelina and BLL! I keep coming back because her materials and meticulousness make it an effortless experience. read more

The first time I came in, I was in awe at how amazing my lashes looked. But 4 days later, my right eye had already lost most of the lashes. Angelina's personality is amazing though. Very talkative and informative. She Made me feel comfortable effortlessly. My downfall to this is when I went in for my fill (which is usually $75) I was charged damn near a full set.! She said something about taking too long. But her next customer had came in early and I was already done by the time the next girl's turn came up. Smh now with my fill, again I see the fallout. I asked her about the first times fallout and was simply told that my retention wasn't good, but in time it would get better. Not sure what the issue is but maybe the right eye may need more lashes put to keep from having the gap. Correct me if im wrong but I don't think retention works that way. Also, she gets booked fast so booking for a fill on time is a no go. You WILL end up having to pay for a full set because of the timing. Another negative note, they do not reply to IG dms so good luck getting a reply from them. I really loved how my lashes looked at first but a few days later, they lost the sexiness. I found an eyebrows goddess ! I have really thick eyebrow and it's always a struggle for me to find someone that can shape and wax them. I live in Lakewood and I would drive all the way to Santa Monica to see a lady over there. That won't be happening anymore since I found this new place. I also did a facial a few weeks back with Cynthia and it was awesome. My face was glowing for at least two weeks, people around me noticed how my face looked clean and refreshed.
