Exterior = 5/5 Located near the train station, it's on the corner of a street. There is parking (if you are lucky) inside but only a few spots, so most likely go for street parking but wasn't hard to find in front of the location. Interior = 5/5 It was bustling, they have a salon that had customers coming and going. I came specifically for the microblading - so Kelly brought me over to a room on the right that was private which I appreciated since after you close the door, it muffles the sounds of all the activity outside. Service = 5/5 Everyone I encountered were super kind and welcoming. Kelly is blowing up and doing all these cool events with her team with Gold House and still managing weddings all over. Yet, she is still so humble and takes her time to chat and learn more about the customer. I was super nervous to get microblading but she walked me through the process, helped me feel comfortable with the results we were planning, and would check in on me frequently through the whole thing. I felt like I had a say in the process and honestly that a friend was doing my brows - it was casual, relaxed, and chill. Order = 5/5 I got the combo brows which is microblading with powder. I will never not get this. I had patchy brows (over plucking, scarring, yikes) that I was super self conscious of growing up and was having to fill them in. Since getting these done - I barely have had to fill in, maybe a slight touch up if I have an event or need to do some make up. If you like bare faced and natural looks, this was game changing. I'm super not familiar with make up or skilled at it - enough to be dangerous, and this helped me so much. I feel more confident and happier with my brows. Only slight upkeep is needed to trim! I have already gotten my touch up from the initial appointment, and you only need to go maybe every year or so after to touch up. Overall = 5/5 Great investment that I kick myself for not having done sooner. But honestly, glad I waited till I found Kelly. I tried brow lamination, and it wasn't for me. Her microblading skills are top notch and give a very natural look which I wanted. I found my brow girl and never going back. She was able to work really well with my requests and kept making sure I was feeling okay during everything. My lips are swollen and a bit darker about 2 hours after but Tina made sure to provide me with aftercare products and explained the whole healing process day by day! Pain level during 5/10, and after 4/10 with some tenderness, and swelling .‼ As for inside the place, it was clean and sterilized, aesthetically pleasing, comfortable seating and the window view with natural lighting was so cute.

She is meticulous in her hygiene and communication: from greeting me upon arrival, to making sure my brows fit all my expectations, explaining all aftercare instructions, and being prompt with texts/emails when I had questions. During the visit, she made sure to take extra time on areas where I was more sparse in hair. I also appreciated her pointing out that I had more tension in one brow than the other, and what her recommendations were for shaping them, which is something no one's ever mentioned to me. Unfortunately, that just wasn't my experience. I went in for a brow lamination and shaping and explained that I wasn't into the super thick, trendy brow look. I wanted something more natural and balanced. After the lamination process, she started shaping my brows and when she showed me the results, I immediately noticed they looked uneven and lacked symmetry and thicker than I had wanted. I mentioned it to her and asked if she could correct them a bit, and while she did try, they still didn't look right to me afterward but I paid and left. I felt I could shape them better at home myself. The friend I had brought with me pointed out that they looked different from each other. Individually, they weren't terrible, but together, they just didn't look balanced or well-shaped as a pair. Don't get me wrong I wasn't expecting perfect symmetry because brows are naturally sisters, not twins, but for a $150 service from someone with such a strong reputation, I did expect more attention to overall shape and balance. What disappointed me the most was what happened over the next few days. My brow hairs stayed extremely dry, stiff, and brittle well past the normal timeframe. By day three, they still felt very dry and I started noticing actual breakage and kinking in the hairs. After researching it online, it really seemed like my brows were overprocessed. I reached out to her because I understand mistakes happen and everyone can have an off day. I simply wanted to let her know what was happening and hoped she would at least respond or offer some help. Unfortunately, I never heard back from her at all, and honestly that part spoke volumes to me. I truly don't understand how so many people had such amazing experiences while mine was so disappointing, but this was genuinely my experience and I wanted to share it honestly.

From my initial appointment to my touch-up, she was kind, perceptive, and patient the whole way through -- she really listened to what I wanted and always made sure I was happy with her work. Meaning I wanted them to look like hair, not necessarily filled like make up. However, I have always been very self conscious about my eyebrows since I was a teenager. To the point I would spend the longest with my brows drawing each stroke of hair when doing my make up. I am so happy that I came to see Katelyn. I came upon her Instagram and saw her work through her posts. Not only is Katelyn an artist, she also provides so much information regarding the work she does. I honestly could not find a single post where I didn't like her work. So I decided to put any hesitation aside and go see her. She suggested we do nano because of how natural I wanted my brows to look. Katelyn took time mapping with me, listening to what I liked and disliked. She made sure that I was happy, but also reassured me and answered any questions I had before we took the next step. Her hands are light as a feather. I personally felt like it was not painful at all (but I have had tattoos before). I could've done the whole thing without any numbing. But she still applied some numbing to make sure I was comfortable. Throughout my session, we just talked and bonded. She is so incredibly sweet! Katelyn's very kind and sweet. She took her time mapping out my brows and answering all of my questions so that I would be at ease. We looked at my brows when she was close to finished and we made some adjustments. She truly wanted to make sure I got what I wanted. I came back 6 weeks later for a touch up. I recommend it. I had Katelyn saturate the color a bit and fill in some parts. I'm super happy with the final results! The top line she went darker and bottom smokey. At first i told her i wnated dark for both both she said she been doing this for a long time and she refused. She said if after i still want it dark she can add but she confident I will like her technique. i did put it off for too long because anything near my eye is scary and associated with pain. But not here, she used a prescription pain cream I had absolutely no pain. She put in the cream then i thought i had to wait 30 minutes or so but nope she got right to it In 15 minutes i was done !
