This coffee shop and bakery is located in a larger store that carries antiques and unique gifts. You walk about halfway through the main store, and there is Brubakers. They serve a variety of sandwiches and other lunch items. I ordered a latte and selected bourbon Carmel from the choices. Smooth flavor that was perfect for the cold day! Husband got a berry smoothie that he said was good. Service is quick, and they stayed busy so they seem to have that part down well. We also ordered the chocolate chip cookie, and it was just like Grandma would make, full of chocolate chunks and goodness. This place is AWESOME. It's tucked inside a nice boutique and offers a surprisingly spacious area to relax or work while enjoying your coffee or food. My latte was great and I was impressed by the extensive menu for both food and coffee. I worked out at the hotel gym across the street and returned for a bite of breakfast (quiche). A recent discovery searching for authentic espresso in Sumter, SC. This intimate coffee shop is a gem. You are in for a wonderful experience as the coffee shop is in the middle of two local shops specializing in local unique items. I have enjoyed the cortado and a flat white. Mom prefers the white chocolate mocha. The bittersweet reality is I would probably would not have varied from my routined Starbucks stop had they had not been closed for renovations. This cute little cafe is inside an antique shop. The manager Jeff and the 2 ladies behind the cafe are the nicest people. They make their own syrups and sandwiches from scratch.
