The pho broth was definitely made in house and the veggie spring rolls were cooked to perfection. The restaraunt atmosphere was nice and relaxing too. My coworkers and I enjoy coming here whenever we can for lunch and today we had a farewell luncheon for one of our seniors. The Yummy staff were efficient in setting up tables to accommodate a large party, but the draw back was how long it took for the food to come out; think it was over 35 mins of wait time. Now we speculate it was to try and have all the dishes come out together while accommodating other patrons, but it was still excessively long in my opinion; not to mention someone's order was forgotten about. Now the food makes up for the wait. Most of our party were first timers and they definitely enjoyed what they ordered. The menu is diverse enough to accommodate all kinds of taste buds and everyone leaving happy was what mattered at the end. I personally get the chicken fried rice and pho with brisket. The fried rice isn't oily at all and has ample amounts of protein. It's also $12.99 so budget friendly for a huge portion! Highly recommend. The friendly employees actually got this review to a 3.5 I was visiting from out of town and stopped by to get something to go. I was told by the hotel staff they had vermicelli, but that's not on their menu, so I went with yellow curry with chicken. It was good. I got the fresh rolls and while I appreciated the size and the whole shrimp, I was disappointed they didn't include mint, and the peanut sauce that came with them was inedible. It was sour. I'm not sure if this was bad or they make it that way, but I've never tasted peanut sauce like this. I had to throw it away. Unfortunately, the lack of sauce and mint made these rolls really lacking. If it weren't for the employees and the curry, this review would be a one star review. The two employees working at the counter snd waiting on customers were very nice. My family has dined at Yummy twice, but last Saturday's meal deserved the "stop what you are doing and write this quick Yelp Review"! While I am not a fan of the $12.99 price for the Shrimp Pho (S45), my daughter absolutely loves it! I've tried the Pad Woon Sen (N53; $10.99) twice now and both times scored a perfect 10 out of 10! My oldest daughter tried the 6 Piece Teriyaki Wings and Beef with Fried Rice ($12.99) and I have to admit that all of us helped ourselves to her meal almost before she could. I've always thought the Charleston and Columbia Basil Thai Cuisine Restaurants had no competition on the East Coast, but I am so THANKFUL a little store front restaurant in good ol' Sumter, South Carolina proved me wrong! I eat pho all around the states as it is my favorite food . The pho here I give a 4/10 . The broth was compelled clear which I have never seen for a beef broth . They do not give you a plate of condiments like most traditional Vietnamese restaurants- they dress the pho for you ( I found that very odd). The spring rolls while they were good were 7.99 for 2 and they only included shrimp 5/10. I understand food inflation is causing prices to go up but I was charged an additional $1 for not even a handful of jalapeños when they only put one in my bowl. I did not understand the logic of the restaurant and unfortunately would not visit again . $25 for a bowl of soup and fresh rolls is outrageous , the city of Atlanta does not even have those prices . read more

We have been here three times now and I can not like it any more than I do. Two times we have been and had table service and once I've gotten it to go. Sushi The sushi is pretty good, gotten the spicy tuna and California rolls and both have been good when I have eaten in. The sushi I got to go was not even close to the quality of the sushi I got while we ate in. Spicy tuna was by far the best of the two. Dinner Chicken Pho and Chicken Fried Rice. Some of the best Pho I have ever eaten or made. Every time I've been here or gotten it to go. The to go was much better the next day I suspect because the ingredients had time to mix together. I really appreciate that the veggies are all fresh vegetables (not frozen/canned) My husband got the Spicy Chicken Ramen and throughly enjoyed his meal. His Ramen was flavorful and filling. The food here is great for the price you are paying and the portions are pretty big. That being said you have to receive your order first. This is where my 5 star experience went south. After 45 minutes we received the Ka Pou and pepper steak entrees but we had also ordered the Tai donuts and sticky mango rice at the same time. My family was super excited when the place finally opened. I decided to place an order to-go over the phone. The lady said it would be 45 min which I didn't mind at all. I was dying for some Pho!
