I recently contacted Brucar Locksmith to inquire about replacing the lock for the rear cargo area of my commercial minibus. From the start, Debbie was incredibly helpful. After sending her pictures of the lock, she consulted with her lead technician and suggested I might be able to replace it myself, saving me time and money. What truly impressed me was Debbie's dedication--she went above and beyond, scouring the internet to find the exact replacement part for me on Amazon. I had a absolutely WONDERFUL experience from beginning to end with the staff and service team at Brucar! Joe was very knowledgeable and friendly. He fixed our locks and in all honesty they work better now than they ever have in the past. I was so pleased with the fact that Josie (the lady who answered the phone) was able to get a technician out so quickly and the price was just right. Joe and Amy of Brucar Locksmith are the best! They are so friendly, honest, professional, and knowledgable. We needed to get our door rekeyed after losing one of our house keys and Amy was very helpful with providing us with our options and scheduling an appointment that was convenient for us. Joe was the greatest. If I could give 10 stars I would. After waiting 45 minutes for another lock company to show up, I called Joe. He arrive just when he said he would. He completed the job professionally and was reasonably price. I would highly recommend Joe for all of your lock needs. For the rest of the story, the other lock company finally showed up an hour and half late just when Joe was finishing the job. He had the nerve to demand a $29 service fee which I did not pay. Don't get caught with that guy. Call Joe first. It will be the last call you need to make. read more

Excellent and quick service. A friend had locked herself out and lost her key, and was afraid there were no additional keys inside her home. We called this locksmith and he quoted exactly what it would cost to get us in, and how much if we wanted any locks rekeyed. The price sounded very reasonable, so we went with him. He was right on time, very polite, very quick and helped my friend identify her front door key immediately from an assortment of random keys she had in some drawers. We were impressed! I will call this business again if I ever need a locksmith! read more

Outstanding. The way service is supposed to be and could not be happier. New house had to change the locks. Working with Debbie was a pleasure. Had to reschedule at last minute. No worries changed the schedule and made it happen in timely matter. George (Key Tech) came out was outstanding and just top notch. We use Brucar Locksmith for all of our business's needs. The other morning we were in a big jam when a mysterious padlock was placed on a gate we use. Diane at Brucar hopped into gear to help us by calling someone out right away. On top of being locked out, it was pouring rain! Then, the owner of the padlock showed up! Argh. (A whole other story! Grrr.) Diane was so understanding at the mess we were in, and called off the locksmith without complaint. I had to call her back with extra thanks for just being there for us. read more

What a great bunch! We had a new fence installed at our house and the gate was unusually thick, which necessitated quite a bit of hunting to find a the right hardware to lock things up at night. I needed to get two pre-programmed transponder key blanks cut to match my original key for a…read morereplacement computer going into my car. I made an inquiry on Yelp to get quotes from local locksmiths but none of them wanted to help, except for one that wanted a lot of money to cut the blanks. I don't know if they are all incompetent so are afraid to cut transponder keys wrong or if they just don't like the idea that they can't sell me a couple transponder key for $120 each so don't want to help. We keep hearing that we should support small businesses but when I tried to these locksmiths couldn't be bothered to help me. Seems kind of stupid to turn away business because it isn't big enough but then sit there doing nothing and making no money at all while waiting for the big jobs. I was almost ready to give up but checked reviews on Yelp one more time and came across Able Lock and Key. A couple of the reviews said they will cut blank keys that you bring to them so I went to see them. When i walked in I was greeted by a locksmith behind the counter. I explained my situation and asked if they could cut my blanks to match my original key. Without hesitation he replied "We can cut them". I asked for a price and he inquired with the owner who quoted a reasonable price which included a mechanical key. I wasn't sure what the mechanical key would be good for but I soon found out. The locksmith asked for the year, make, and model of car. Then he and the owner looked up some info in a book to cut the keys. Since the transponder key blanks were pre-programmed to the replacement computer, if they got cut wrong I would be out of luck. So what the locksmith did was cut the mechanical key to match my original key. He then asked me to take the mechanical key and test it in my door and ignition to verify that it worked, which it did, perfectly. Once I verified the mechanical key worked the locksmith said he now knows he can cut my two transponder blanks and they will work, and he was absolutely right. Both of the transponder blanks he cut worked perfectly the first time. A few years ago I had a couple keys made to match my original by a different locksmith company and it took two locksmiths almost 30 minutes to get them to work. They had to keep going back and forth between the shop and my car repeatedly filing and grinding them to get them to work and not stick. This was not the case at Able Lock and Key. The locksmith was an absolute expert and the keys he cut worked perfectly the first time. I am so glad I came across Able Lock and Key. They were willing to help when other locksmiths wouldn't, charged a reasonable price, and did the job with expert precision and accuracy. When I need a locksmith in the future Able Lock and Key is the only one I will go to. They deserve your business.

I was able to use the Yelp app to send Nathan pictures of the two locks and he determined right off that I needed a new front door lock kit and a repair to the gate lock. I found Nathan to be quick and reliable in setting up his visit to our house. Before he came to the house, he helped me find the exact replacement for the front door lock kit. I ordered it and had it here when he came to our house 2 days later to install. Nathan loved our two big dogs, which is a real plus. When finished, the front door opens and closes, locks and unlocks. The gate lock is a major upgrade in our security. Nathan was on time. He was neat. He is a kind man and an expert locksmith. My strong advice is to reach out to Nathan at AIA Locksmiths.
