The way he talked and worked felt he had just graduated college and had zero experience being a dental hygienist. These three people are so compassionate, empathetic, knowledgeable, intuitive, and genuinely care about their patients. Dr. Beau is definitely a genius when it comes to cosmetic dentistry and porcelain veneers. I spent countless hours researching cosmetic dentists to find the perfect dentist to fix the porcelain veneers I had done by another dentist, only six months before. Not only were my porcelain veneers, (done by another "cosmetic dentist") chip, brake, crack, had multilayered discoloration, were bulky, dense, and bulbous, they also crated, my controlled mild TMJ, to be extremely symptomatic. The porcelain veneers I had were so troublesome, that when I would bite and chew, my bottom jaw would literally shift to the right, intensifying the TMJ problem. With all these negative issues I was experiencing, my endless search ended with Da Vinci Dental and Dr. Beau. During my consultation, Dr. Beau spent so much time explaining the E-Max porcelain veneers he uses and why he uses E-Max vs the multilayered powder material that I had. He further discussed the entire fabrication process, the shaping and contouring he does specifically geared towards the patient's individuality, and why he spends an enormous amount of time perfecting the bite pattern, because he understands how critical it is to have the ideal bite. After our consultation, I knew, FOR A FACT, Dr. Beau was going to remove my crummy porcelain veneers (that I was ashamed of) and apply E-Max veneers that would make my smile beautiful, something that would regain my confidence. He did just that, my smile is radiant, my veneers perfectly compliment my face, but most of all, he corrected my bite pattern and now my TMJ problems, have drastically declined. Dr. Andrew is wonderful at applying the final E-Max porcelain veneers. He is so gentle, and kind, and always checks in with you to make sure you're doing okay during the process. He does not want the application to be uncomfortable and painful. Believe me, that's fantastic, because with my past experience, the dentist basically tortured me and I was in so much pain, even causing bruising, due to the roughness. I've now been coming here almost a decade (8 years I think?)…read more I moved to the other side of the city and tried out a new, closer, dentist. He immediately spotted tons of tiny "cavities" he wanted to drill. I was skeptical since I haven't had any cavities in 15 years. I went back to Dr. Curalli for a second opinion and he noted the spots, but said they're still just demineralized and that essentially, he knows I take care of my teeth after this many years and thought they'd remineralize. He made notes on the chart to recheck. At the next check in 6 months, he rechecked and said they were ok now. He knows his patients well and is not overly aggressive in his treatment recs. I needed to have a filling replaced recently and was terrified. I don't have red hair but I do have the gene that causes resistance and have a lot of painful filling and mole removal stories to back that up. He listened, got a different anesthesia that works better on resistant patients, and told me to immediately stop him if anything was even slightly uncomfortable. I didn't feel the shot at all (I've flossed more painfully) and felt literally nothing for the drilling. Most comfortable "cavity" appointment of my life! Definitely worth the haul across town for this little dental phobe.
