Wood fencing/chain link was installed at my home - posts are bent - crew split posts with their nails with no repair - left a few fence post holes half filled! This is on top of the severe attitude problem this crew had!! WOW - I cant even explain how poor this experience was. The owner simply said he cannot control his crew. As a paying customer I did not feel comfortable asking this crew to return to my property to repair the issues I was left with, as I am concerned they will just make more damage being angry. We had asked for 3 issues to be addressed after day 1 of install. These were not unrealistic requests - we simply wanted a good job to be done for the money we were paying. Exercising terrible customer service skills - the owner just talked over me as I was expressing my concerns, and his reply was "It will be fine" and "This is how I've always done it". At this point I had to get my fiance involved (an expert contractor) because the owner was not listening to me, and showed disregard for my concerns. It seems that the other "go to" response is an A+ rating on the BBB website - well, beware of this rating. The experience was awful. And in the end I still have to repair the items I asked to be addressed on day 1. I do not recommend this business to anyone.

I wanted to say thank you to the Chain Link Fence Connection for a great job that they did on the…read morefence in our yard. Our old 6ft cedar fence fell down during a storm this past winter. The owner (Bryan) came out to my home and measured the job and then emailed my estimate shortly after. Their pricing was very reasonable and I gave him the go ahead to do the job. Bryan and his crew installed a new cedar fence and also a run of Jerith aluminum fence. They came out and did the install within a week after I gave him the go ahead. Both the cedar fence and aluminum fence are first class and we are very happy with the look and quality of the materials. As far as the install, the fence is perfectly straight and plum. I have a trained eye because I am a machinist by trade and the first thing I look for is for things to be straight and square. Overall we cannot be happier with the great job that the Chain Link Fence Connection did on our fence.

The fence panels that I wanted were hard to come by early this season - I was able to purchase materials from a friend and Gary did the install. He and his son were great: first of all, a real pleasure to have around, but more importantly, they did a professional installation along my driveway with a difficult incline, some rocks to navigate and nosy neighbors who were disputing the boundary line! Throughout these difficulties, they remained cool and did a bang-up job. Gary even offered to get me 2 more panels and come back the following week to install, because in the end, I wished the finished fence provided just a bit more privacy. I highly recommend 518 fence - they'll work with you to meet your specific needs and they're just good to be around.

The last time we had our driveway sealed (which is a large driveway with cracks, lawn overgrowing…read morethe sides, and in places weeds growing through it) we had a company come and they did a fantastic job. They did a thorough job edging it, they filled in the cracks, and they pulled the weeds. They also charged us almost half of what Egan charged us now, though that was in 2020. That company doesn't appear to be around now, so we looked online for reviews and after getting several went with Egan. Their estimate seemed detailed enough (we had also asked for other quotes to do other things besides sealcoating) but when it came time to actually lock it in we discovered that the low number wasn't the correct number. We had to add another number too, which made the job a lot more (though still less than the others). Arranging a time to get it done took four calls spread over several days, but they finally showed up. And their work was less than spectacular. Yes, the driveway is mostly black. But they missed some spots along the edges; they didn't bother to fill in any cracks; they actually applied the tar over weeds in situ (sort of like those online pictures of highway striping crews painting right over roadkill) leaving black plants sticking up; and they didn't edge everything properly first and part of their tar was just brushed on dirt which was on top of the driveway which instantly peeled off a day later. Now, to be fair if I had to do this all myself (not a fun job) I doubt I could have done it much better. But for $1400 we expected more. In the future I will make sure the contract clearly specifies crack filling, full edging, etc. Since their quote was the lowest and most of my driveway now has sealcoat on it I can live with it. But I will likely look elsewhere next time as you get what you pay for. Maybe our previous company spoiled us with amazing service?

They were responsive, quoted us fairly, on time, professional and lead with integrity. Last fall when we received the quote, we had some other repairs on the house that needed to be completed first. Davco told us what we could do in the meantime to tide us over, which they were under no obligation to do. Their suggestions worked AND when we reached out to them last month to say we were ready to start our chimney and foundation work, not only did they honor the quote, they had us booked on the calendar within a week. The masonry work they did on our house looks beautiful and they're even coming back to complete the last couple of spots after National Grid wraps our power lines. I can't say enough about this company. We will always use and recommend them.

On 4/24/25 I contracted with Davco to have a cement sidewalk connecting the existing east side…read moresidewalk around the back of the home to a existing patio then from the patio up the west side of the home connecting to the existing front sidewalk. The contract stated 98LF,5"wide, and 6" deep as discussed.the price of the job was 8,400.00 which was paid in cash 50% to start, 25% after removal of forms and 25% upon completion. The job was started approximately June 10th, by mid August the cement was pitting, a crack formed where the sidewalk meets the patio, no backfill was placed and cement on the garage and house.Dave was contacted and did send a worker to clean but nothing else was addressed. Two other workers stopped by and stated the job was not done correctly there is a heaved, and the crack was a combination of no rebar and excavation was not done properly. Fast forward to April 2026,after the winter there is a second crack on the east side connecting to the existing front sidewalk. My husband contacted Dave via email stated the job is not complete no backfill still and two cracks now. Dave set a worker to backfill and stopped himself where he had a conversation with my husband about the cracks and in his mind the job was completed and offered no reason for the cracks. I have left 2 voice messages May/June No response! The ironic piece of this story the supervisor of this job stopped by August 2025 on his own to make the necessary corrections to the job. Unbeknown to us he had been fired from Davco 2025 based on two botched jobs one being a garage as told to us by an employee. All I want is what I paid for and a little customer service goes a long way. The owner could care less if a customer is pleased. He tries to bully people by his attitude and belligerent manners. Made a complaint to the BBB which he has not responded to. I would not recommend him or his company to a dead man!

BUYER BEWARE: This company paved my driveway in May 2023, and the asphalt failed during the first…read morewinter--less than nine months later. Since spring 2024, I've repeatedly contacted the company by phone and email, hoping they would stand behind their workmanship. Instead, I've experienced more than two years of unanswered calls, broken promises, and repeated inspections with no resolution. In 2025, salesman Joe Reehl inspected the damaged driveway and said he would discuss repairs with the owner once L. Browe was working in the area. I never heard back. I continued calling and emailing. In May 2026, another employee, Joey, met with me, assessed the damage, and said someone would contact me within two weeks regarding repairs. No one did. After another call, I scheduled a second inspection with Joe Reehl on June 20, 2026. After looking at the driveway again, he told me, "I'll speak with the owner. It's his decision." Once again, I never received a response. In July 2026, after yet another call to L. Browe, employee Gabrielle Boomhower told me she had heard they could "patch the damage" but understood that I didn't want a patched driveway. I replied, "That's correct. Patching a driveway that failed because the base wasn't done properly doesn't seem fair to me." (See the second video.) A driveway that costs tens of thousands of dollars should last around 20 years--not less than nine months. Gabrielle then gave me owner Lorne Browe's cell phone number and suggested I call him directly. I did, but he never returned my call. I want to be fair: the paving crew's work ethic was excellent. My complaint is not about the crew--it's about the company's refusal to stand behind its work after the driveway failed. Mistakes can happen on any job. What matters is how a company responds. After years of phone calls, emails, inspections, and lack of follow-up, I am warning people so they don't end up in my position.
