I was extremely nervous for the price of treatment because I knew I had a lot of work to be done - I hadn't seen a dentist in 5 years. Regardless, scheduling was easy on her website and her staff called immediately to warm me up and let me know what my first visit would be like. I had a really late appointment on Thursday (FYI she's open until 7) in the New Jersey office! I had a regular visit and cleaning and was offered a promotion for free whitening. When it was time to pay, it was definitely a lot of treatment and was overwhelming to say the least. But I knew it was something I needed and wanted! Safe to say, I won't wait another 5 years to see a dentist. The Office Manager offered me an In house plan that allowed me to get a percent off of my treatment which made life so much easier! I couldn't possibly be happier and here is why: 1. The result - this is the whitest my teeth have ever been. I feel fresh and no longer look like I've been drinking 15 cups of coffee per day to get through WFH. 2. The comfort - I only felt sensitivity during the last 10 minutes, but it was not bad, significantly more comfortable than the old Zoom process 3. I got to meet Dr. Jackie herself! She is a really special woman. Charismatic, intelligent, and incredibly passionate about her work, more specifically the proprietary whitening formula that is made fresh, in house, by her very own chemist! The formula is not shipped in (pre packaged) from overseas, where the manufacturing standards allow up to 17% of a deviation from the original formula. I was sent to Dr. Park to address issues I had with readiness for two implants. The plan was to…read moreaddress the issues so that the implants could go forward. Dr. Park discussed the need to perform a "sinus lift" procedure which would require bone grafts. There was a hollow area in my bone that required a graft as well. In addition, a tooth was being extracted. The long story short is after all the discussion and several CT scans and 3 visits, I came to find out Dr. Park charged me $1,200+ and DID NOT perform the sinus lift and DID NOT address the hollow area in my bone. All she did was pull my tooth and graft the socket where the tooth was removed. I've had tooth extractions done before and the sockets healed properly each time, so a bone graft for the extraction area was hardly necessary. The hollow area had apparently been caused by an infection. So, basically I paid $1,200+ for a tooth extraction. And I still need to see anyone else but Dr. Park about addressing the sinus lift. And to make matters worse, she denies all of this to my primary dentist - even though I had never heard of a sinus lift in my life until meeting Dr. Park. She is the worst dentist I've ever seen.
