I was genuinely terrified and had a very difficult relationship with dental care. Then I met Dr. Lebel. From the very beginning, he took the time to understand my anxiety and never made me feel embarrassed, judged, rushed, or uncomfortable. One thing that meant so much to me was that he would do my exam before my cleaning, which helped me feel reassured and comfortable before moving forward. He always takes the time to talk to me, explain what he is doing, answer my questions, and make sure I am okay. I also have a unique situation because my dental insurance is out of state and I cannot use it at his office. I still choose to pay completely out of pocket because I trust Dr. Lebel that much. I could go somewhere closer to home and use my insurance, but I genuinely don't want to go anywhere else. That is how much confidence I have in him. What I appreciate most is that he treats me like a person, not just another patient sitting in a dental chair. He understands that dental anxiety is real, and he has never made me feel bad about it. His patience, kindness, compassion, and bedside manner have completely changed the way I feel about going to the dentist. I also have a personal connection to his family, which is actually how I initially came to know of him, but my decision to continue seeing him has nothing to do with that. I continue to choose Dr. Lebel because of the trust he has earned from me as a patient. If you are someone who is nervous, anxious, afraid of the dentist, or who has avoided dental care for years because of fear, I cannot recommend Dr. Lebel enough. If he can make someone like me feel comfortable enough to consistently come back to the dentist, that says everything. I truly wish more people knew about him. I've had a lot of dental work in the past, but Dr. Lebel is the first dentist I've encountered who actually explains what he's doing and why he recommends it. He also answers my many questions, ranging from typical dental care to social media trends. Since I started seeing Dr. Lebel, I've significantly changed my dental hygiene habits. I strongly expressed to him why I don't like flossing (raise your hand if you like bleeding gums) and he recommended that I begin using a water flosser. Boy has it changed things! I think it's the gateway to using traditional floss. FYI He's still trying to get me to use traditional floss. As for fillings, Dr. Lebel is extremely gentle and meticulous. He keeps up with the latest dental research and prides himself on creating long-lasting dental fillings. He was able to explain to me how some of my previous dental work, and the lack of precautions those dentist took, was causing me problems now. When placing fillings, he injects the anesthetic slowly, and you barely feel anything. Something else worth noting is the dental material he uses. Dr. Lebel uses high quality fillings that reduce the likelihood of air bubble formation and snugly fill the previously plaque-afflicted area. He's also just a cool guy. I didn't think a dental office visit could be so pleasant. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. The facility was impeccable. My child actually loves going to the dentist and sees it as something special. Kids can choose their toothpaste flavor and watch their favorite shows (there's even a TV on the ceiling!) during the cleaning. They also receive a token they can redeem for a prize of their choice. My child needed a crown, and the whole process was incredibly smooth. She's usually very nervous, but they kept her so comfortable and engaged the entire time. Even regular checkups feel like a fun experience for her. The facility is super clean as well. We're so grateful to have found this office.

Yes, I'm a mother. So, yes I've given birth. And yes that was hella painful. But dentist pain is sooo different, therefore, I was scared to death. However, he made me feel so much better about the whole visit. I don't kniw anything about other dentists liking him or how amazing he is with his dentistry skills. All I know is that my routine check up that I've always dreaded was very pleasant with him. My last dentist told me that cleaning is supposed to hurt and that I needed to suck it up. Yeap.
