We were celebrating my birthday and selected this place, hoping it wouldn't let us down, and we were not disappointed! Being that we're from out of town visiting, we weren't sure! We started out with wine tasting then followed with two salads, a Cobb salad and a Caesar Salad with grilled chicken. Both were fresh and super delicious! We also got a bottle of Pinot Gris that was perfectly matched with our salads. We ended the evening with peach cobbler!!! Our hostess, Greta, was friendly and always ready to serve so she really enhanced our experience. The environment was just beautiful, the service was excellent, along with our food and wine selections!! If I could improve this experience, it would be to add some soothing music. Cute spot! The keep their red wine chilled which I wasn't a crazy fan of but overall a great spot. They had a great selection of foods - our favorite by far was the Rustic Bread which was described as "bacon rubbed" (love that) and came with a well seasoned oil dip. I love brix! It's a place i would recommend to everyone visiting the burg! The pizza was always amazing as well as the top tier service! Tonight, when i went there it was not the same... Pizza was still good! Different than the time i was there before due to the service. It took 15 minutes for the server to greet our table and i do understand the establishment was busy but nobody greeted us at all till after that 15 minute marker. The server was not educated on the menu and the wine menu was not updated giving the customer miss information. I know the restaurant is under new management so i am giving this review in order to help my life long favorite restaurant succeed! Staying in town tonight to go to a concert at The Gorge Amphitheater and decided to grab dinner beforehand. Chose Brix because they had a vegan option for me. Valentine's date with my hubby. Been a few years since I was here last, so was excited to come back. Had Devils on Horseback (delish), American Beauty pizza (a tad spicy but cooked to perfection), and a Caesar salad (came with tomatoes, never ever had that on a Caesar which was awks but okay?). I always have dinner here when I'm in town. It is a fantastic old brick building with lots of charm. They have some really fun eclectic appetizers and original pizzas. The pizzas are excellent the salads are very good and the wine is delightful. The vibe here really makes this place five stars. The toppings are good quality but man I did not like the crust. It reminded me of a frozen pizza and it was $20 for a 12". Nice place but not my kinda pizza and way overpriced. Tried this place last weekend and WOW the pizza was amazing. I had the butchers block and my girlfriend had the veg head on cauliflower crust. Great atmosphere and service, especially for a busy night. Really happy this place was complying with the new COVID rules and procedures, can't tell you how many places I've been that just disregard them. Loved it! Service was spot on and food was excellent. More than one server per table so they don't miss a beat. Had the califlower crust on my pizza and it was very good! I actually liked it best. Regular is good too but I love thin crust and it was as thin as you can get. Nice wine and beer list so something for everyone. Nice vibe, lots of young people and great acoustic music playing while we ate tonight. Definitely worth a visit if you are driving through Ellensburg or if you live there. Have a few outdoor tables too, but then you miss the music. We will definitely go back to try the other items on the menu, everything coming out of the kitchen looked great! That includes frozen and pizza chains. From the weirdest thick pizza crust unlike anything I've ever had to the spaghetti like sauce and the hardly melted cold cheese... lol it's bad. There aren't enough toppings for what you pay either, had maybe one piece of bacon and nothing is distributed even. Love this place. The staff is very helpful and inteligent about their products. The atmosphere is great, come casual or dressed up, either way you will fit in just fine.
