While visiting New Jersey recently I wanted to go somewhere I couldn't go to back home . That's always the goal to try out new places . So upon doing my research I came across this restaurant. Now of course upon reading reviews everyone said to get there early because the line can get long especially on a Saturday and Sunday morning. So we arrived around 8:30 on Saturday and we were seated right away because it was only two of us . The service was excellent we were seated right away . Our waiter came out and gave us the rundown of the menu . They had a promo menu because of the Devil Wears Prada movie . I did get a specialty non alcoholic drink from the menu which was excellent. We ordered the French toast and the avocado toast with scrambled eggs and it came with smoked salmon on sourdough bread . The French toast was so good and moist you didn't even need to add additional syrup . The food was delicious and the portion sizes are perfect . The restaurant is cozy so if you have a big party make reservations. But you won't be disappointed I can't wait to visit Brunch by De Martino again whenever I come back to New Jersey . Please check them out you won't regret it .

Those banana walnut pancakes were some of the best pancakes I've ever had! The coffees we all got were also really delicious and not sweet at all which we appreciated. The only thing I didn't love was the chips for the chilaquiles were a soggy already by the time we got them, still delicious but didn't get a lot of crunch. Will definitely be going back

After the last experience, I was determined not to return, but I'm glad I did. The place was quiet, just as it had been before, but this time, the host was kind enough to let us sit at the 4 top since we planned to order several dishes. We did the guac and chips, veggie omelette, bacon jam avocado toast and original pancakes. Plus, the Iced Gingerbread Latte (so glad this is a year round staple!) and the Guava Blueberry Lavender Lemon Spritz. Everything was great and having the space to enjoy it definitely helped! Also, the portion sizes can't be beat. Even for the hungriest clients, taking something home is inevitable!

I've had Brunch by De Martino on my list for a while, and I'm so glad I finally went because it completely surpassed my expectations. The interior is so cute, with a flower bed on the ceiling. The decor and service truly makes it feel like you're at a family member's house--super cozy and welcoming! The food was amazing. For drinks we had the pretty in pink matcha and maple latte, both were delicious! Then we had the Hot Honey Chicken and Waffles; the chicken was juicy yet crispy with so much flavor. This is a must-have dish! We also tried the Dubai Chocolate Pancakes. The rich chocolate perfectly balanced the creaminess of their homemade pistachio butter and cream. I don't know how they do it, but the sweetness was just right and not at all overpowering. Because we couldn't decide, we also ordered the Blueberry Buttermilk Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, which were a refreshing and delicious combination. Finally, we had the Florentino Benedict. It's a great twist on the classic, featuring a unique epazote, walnut, and cotija cheese pesto that paired perfectly with the home fries. I honestly couldn't pick a favorite dish. I'm already planning my next trip back to try the rest of the menu. Run, don't walk, to try Brunch by De Martino!

Phenomenal breakfast spot we discovered traveling from New Jersey up to Connecticut. We were there on a weekday morning and it was bustling. This was some of the best breakfast food I've had in recent memory - everything is good but the Mexican items are super super delicious!!! Service was attentive and friendly - Space is warm and nice vibe. This is actually on my list to revisit the next time I'm in town. Highly recommend!

What a find! Cuban flavor baked into every dish. Everything was made fresh to order. Good sized portions and the menu allows for a variety of diets (vegan, vegetarian, etc). The restaurant is decorated nicely and very clean. The servers are so friendly and welcoming. They helped answer several questions and checked in throughout the meal. We got the short rib empanadas, potato hash with poached eggs, sweet potato hash with poached eggs, Florentino, Cuban sandwiches, the golden glow juice and cafe con leche. Everything was great.

Great brunch spot with BYOB option! Arrived on Sunday around 10:45am. We were told it was about a 60 minute wait and luckily we only had to wait 30ish minutes! Loved every single food option with steak: steak sandwich, steak and eggs, and carne asada omelet. The maple chicken croquettes were also really interesting and good. Savory and sweet! Ambiance is super cute, staff was very helpful. You need to place your food order all at once.

My family and I have been supporting the Martino's Cuban Restaurant family restaurants for years, going back to the original Martino's from his dad's side (which we truly miss). So coming here carries a bit of nostalgia for us. This concept feels very different from the original. It's definitely a more modern, upscale take. Portions are smaller, prices are higher, and the menu feels more elevated with a mix of Cuban-inspired and American flavors rather than strictly traditional Cuban comfort food. That said, the food is genuinely very good. The Cuban sandwich was easily one of the best we've had in New Jersey. Unlike many places that mostly use ham with a thin layer of pork, this one had thick, flavorful pieces of pork that made it feel much more authentic. A few other favorites: - The tostones with guacamole were a great starter. - Their chocolate latte used to be one of our favorites (sadly it seems to have been replaced by a raspberry chocolate version, which wasn't for us). - The seasonal pumpkin iced latte was excellent. - The strawberry banana waffles were more than enough to share. - The scrambled eggs and thick-cut bacon were fresh and delicious. We spent about $140 for breakfast for a family of four, so it's definitely on the pricier side, but it felt fitting for a special occasion like Mother's Day. A heads-up: reservations are only accepted for parties of six or more, so smaller groups are first come, first served. On Mother's Day, we waited about an hour after arriving at 8:30 AM, but their digital waitlist system made it easy to track our place in line while running errands nearby. Do we miss the old Martino's? Absolutely. The larger portions and casual family feel were special to us. But this restaurant offers something different--more polished, more curated, and still very enjoyable. I'd recommend it for brunch dates, family celebrations, or when you want to treat yourself.

Great food! We enjoyed everything we ate. I had a reservation for a group of 12 and was seated promptly with quick food service. Stayed for about 2 hrs before they asked us to leave for their next reservation because of their Sunday brunch rush. Would come back. Seating deeper inside closer to the kitchen gets hotter than by the window. Street parking. Matcha drinks come unsweetened but they have vanilla syrup sweeteners available. Coffee is fine but unremarkable. Particularly enjoyed the pancakes, especially after all of the savory apps! Sweet and savory options to satisfy most cravings.

Everything was standout. Portions are huge and everything that we ordered was delicious and beautifully presented. We tried a few things and my favorite was the avocado toast topped with bacon onion jam and scrambled eggs. This was the perfect combo of sweet and savory and it really hit the spot. The fried chicken and waffles came with the most decadent and crispy fried chicken. The taquitos were also a hit and were smothered in a delicious slaw and crema. Service was speedy and friendly, and you can tell that this is a well-loved spot in downtown Somerville. I'd totally come back again if in the area.

Such a great brunch spot tucked away in downtown Somerville! They have so many amazing dishes to choose from it was so hard to decide what we wanted. We shared the chicken taquitos and chicken & waffles and SO GOOD! It's such a cute little spot tucked away in downtown Somerville & the service was super quick and helpful!

I enjoyed my visit. Our server was friendly & helpful. I tried the tres leches French toast. Everything tasted fresh and wonderful. I also got to taste my husband's order of carne asada omelette and it was so amazing! Begging for them to sell some mofongo, Puerto Rican pasteles, and flan de queso ;-) I can dream, right? I really would like to come back sometime.

May I join the line online?

    Do you have outdoor seating?

We will be setting up our outdoor dining very soon.

    Good for kids?

I'm sure well-behaved kiddos would be welcomed here, especially earlier in the night. I can't recall they accommodate for infants or toddlers that need booster chairs, though.

I am planning on taking my gf on a date this Friday. Is this the type of spot for a dinner that says, "thank you so much for being a good woman."?

YES! It's very classy yet comfortable. It's a way to have amazing and 'fancy' food while maintaining a comfortable vibe throughput dinner.

We had a group of 7 and had drinks and several appetizers for under $250. Here in Cali that would be easily in the mid to high $300s. They have good beers on draft (sorry I forgot the name of the one I got but it was a porter). Give this place a visit but come early as it gets packed!

We were the first two in the room, but there ended up being a few very loud parties that also ended up sat in the room with us - totally not the fault of a restaurant for that, but just know that sound carries in the room on the opposite side of the hall from the bar. The vibes of the old house were great though! Once sat, our waitress was alright. She was kind of quiet (especially once the louder groups were in) and not overly friendly, but food and drink delivery was prompt so that was nice. I got a cider and my coworker had a couple of beers. We split the caramel shrimp (very tasty) and I also had the cheddar IPA soup. The soup was good but could have used maybe just a bit more salt for my taste. He wound up getting the pub burger and said it was delicious. I had the BLT and added fried chicken. The chicken wasn't the fried chicken I imagined (not as breaded/crispy) but the sandwich was really good! Overall, it was a neat spot that I'd go back to if I was in town.

Chef/owner Scott came out from the kitchen to greet us and other patrons, and was gracious to everyone. Onto the food. The Duck Tacos and Mussels were very tasty. I think I might put a call into Chef and have him make me a bottle of that Mussels sauce to take home with me. Then came the crisp Caesar Salad, which kept everything bright. To finish, we had the Black Cod and Duck Confit, both of which were very well balanced and cooked perfectly. Oh, and the Guava-glazed Brussels Sprouts were a perfect side.
