Went to Stateside Tap + Tavern on June 8, 2026, with a close friend for happy hour. I completely forgot to take pictures of the food because we dug right in! The only photo I managed to get was of the pitchers of sangria, which were refreshing and perfect for sharing. The shrimp were absolutely delicious, and the nachos were just as good. Both were flavorful, fresh, and definitely worth ordering. My only complaint is that happy hour ends at 6:00 PM, which felt a little early. Other than that, we had a great time. During my business trip I visited this restaurant for two dinners. I had a salad the first day. This one was a to go order. When I went back to the hotel I noticed they gave me a small bed of salad, but the protein was plentiful. Second dinner I had it there with my team. They listened very well on my food allergies, so thankful. I ordered certain drink though and they came back with wine. Even though I let the young person know. It's ok, might have been loud. Started off well and went quickly downhill. It's a very nice space, and accessible if you're using mobility equipment of any kind. Little loud, but that was OK. We got seated right away, and server came quickly and was helpful in making a drink selection. We Got our drinks and appetizer relatively quickly, but after we placed our entree order the server completely disappeared. Someone else brought our food and we literally didn't see anyone else until we hunted someone down to ask for a check. We were not offered more drinks, no one asked how things were going. Nothing. Came here on a Friday evening. Our server was nice but a bit slow. We ordered the fiesta chicken wrap and Nashville hot sandwich, both with fries. The food came out fairly quick, but was luke warm. The fries tasted horrible and old like they have been sitting out for a long time. The waitress took a very long time to come back. When she did we ordered dessert. We ordered the bread pudding and creme brûlée cheesecake. She warned us that the bread pudding would take a while, which we were ok with. Upon the desserts arrival, the bread pudding was luke warm, and the cheesecake wasnt that good. It then took a long time for us to get the check. This is a one and done for me. read more

I have a bit of a bias against this place and it's not really against THIS place at all. After my father died my mom spent a lot of time here to cope when it used to be Freddy's. Some might say too much time. Some might say. So I just typically avoid the area because it brings back so much...stuff. When it transitioned to Stateside sometime during the early days of the pandemic we did get take out once and it was delicious - I still dream about the Brussels sprouts. But it was a bit expensive when everyone was dying and all. Like am I really gonna risk my life for $16 sprouts? I think not. Now I think it's under new - new management. My cousin stopped by there about a month ago when she was in the area and gave it great reviews. I was feeling A Kind of Way a couple of weekends ago and just really wanted a cold beer. So me and huzzo stopped in. Service was good and beer was solid. This week I wanted another beer. Blame your president as he insists upon annihilating everyone and sending our collective pressure through the roof. We arrived about 20 minutes before the end of Happy Hour and snagged a couple of beers as well as wings and a shrimp quesadilla. The food was great but the service was the real stunner. I found myself stuck between two beers and the bartender suggested Arnold Palmering it and going halfsies on both. Fantastic decision - the mixed drink was refreshing and tart without being too pedestrian or too far afield. Food came out quickly and deliciously. Saved $15 on food prices alone during Happy Hour. Fat things: The bar stools are excellent - steel with a wide seat and a foot bar so your legs don't fall asleep. And they don't pack too many of them in so it's easy to get into and out of your seat without bumping someone else. Other stuff: They have regular indoor seating and an outdoor seating area on the side with couches, high table, and heat lamps. Overall, the space is open, airy, bright, and clean. It's pretty packed when the temps warm up but shoulder season is very nice for us right now. Be advised: Regular menu prices still seem steep - like everything else these days. But the food is good and they have a very nice craft beer selection. If you can't make happy hour and are looking to treat yourself this might be it. We'll def return! read more

Laidback restaurant that still feels upscale. Came for happy hour and was pleasantly surprised by the wide selection of drinks. They have a huge selection of food and apps and lots of seating on a weekday evening, which is great for big groups. Service was fast and friendly. read more

Sat at the bar for Taco Tuesday. Enjoyed some local craft beers, trivia night, and Tuesday night specials. Went with the mole wings and chicharonnes with guac. The wings were a little dry but good flavor and great amount of meat. The chicharonnes were not as I imagined, more like fried pork than the typical fluffy skins but they were amazing, salty and flavorful and paired perfectly with the guac and chips! Overall it was a great visit and recommend this place for the food, brews, and vibes. read more

The food was excellent. Large portions and tasty drinks. After our visit and then reading other reviews of other experiences it was shocking to see how similar they were. We were quickly sat, got our water, drinks, and put in our order and then... our server disappeared. We didn't see her for a long time and flagged a staff member to grab her. She came, took our second drink order and then we did not see her for the rest of the night. She didn't stop in to say she was handing us off to another server, nothing. Popped in for a last minute lunch. Haven't been here in over a year, but was eager to return because I heard they updated the menu. Got the Cobb Salad with Chicken, Chicken Caesar Wrap and Beignets. Some good old fashioned standard pub fare with an above average eclectic playlist! Absolutely nothing wrong with that on a late Summer night. Donna Summer, Cheap Trick, Van Halen & Billy Ocean? Took longer than expected (about 20 minutes with only 5 seated tables at the time of visit) to get short rib poutine, but 5 on the taste and size!!! Puebla quesadilla with shrimp was excellent, with the shrimp diced so there was a huge amount, although one slice had 3 small pieces. Our party of 4 adults and two toddlers tried this place, as it was close to the hotel and had some good Yelp reviews. It has something for everyone on the menu, and they will prepare children's orders such as pasta with butter or chicken nuggets upon request. We ordered: Crispy Cauliflower Stateside Sliders Short Rib Poutine Fish & Chips Paremsan Pesto Penne Short Rib Dinner Brisket Sliders Spicy Tuna Small Plate Churros Vanilla Bean Cheesecake Overall, it was a good dinner, with good service. There were some winners and losers that I sampled, and here are my findings: Winners: + Crispy Cauliflower (delicious) + Parmesan Pesto Penne (tasty, nice sauce) + Brisket Sliders (delicious) Losers: - Stateside Sliders (dry) - Spicy Tuna Small Plate (where's the tuna - didn't like this dish at all?!) The atmosphere is amazing, I went with family for a 5:30 dinner and the service was great! The waiters were very polite and we actually got out appetizer before we ordered dinner! We got the pretzel logs as our appetizer and they were delish! The mustard had a very strong horseradish taste (I love horseradish!) and the beet cheese was just the right about of buttery. For dinner, I had the fiesta chicken wrap and WOW! So flavorful. I substituted the fried buffalo chicken for grilled buffalo chicken and was very happy with the option to do so. Others in my party ordered the pesto chicken panini and bourbon smash burger, and they were equally happy with their orders. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area again!! read more

The Stateside Tavern Pretzel - Our Colossal Pretzel, Stone Ground Dijon Mustard + Homemade Beer Cheese, to start for the table was great. Generally I'm not a mustard fan, but this one had a horseradish bite to it that was amazing. The Hot Nashville Chicken - Buttermilk Marinated Fried Chicken, Aged Cheddar, Slaw, Garlic Mayo, Pretzel Brioche, House Cut Fries, was a perfect option for dinner. Not too hot but definitely spicy enough. The only reason this really popped up on my radar was the JetBlue card promotion email. Love the modern yet cozy feel of this restaurant. It feels clean & spacious. We go there often from work for lunch. The appetizers are delicious especially the cauliflower bites and the salmon is TO DIE FOR!!! Perfectly cooked & delicious!!! Comes with risotto and asparagus & chilli oil that gives it the perfect zip. Kudos to the chef!! I get salmon wherever I go and this place hands-down has the best made one. My coworker got the ramen & she said it was really good. She would've preferred a little bit more broth but overall excellent. Any time we have visitors at work. However, the floor was super sticky and the place is run by young kids. It lacks proper management. If I could leave a zero star review, I would. I brought my dogs here to enjoy a nice night out and I was very rudely informed by the manager Chris that I can't feed my dogs french fries there. When I calmly informed him that I had brought my dogs there before and it had never been an issue, he got loud and aggressive and then stepped towards me like he was going to get physical. Service is way too slow. Took 1.5 hours from when we got there to when we left. One waiter, and there were three - four other tables with customer. The service was interesting as we had three different people tend to us and there were two times a friend had to physically get up to get the attention of the waiter/waitress. However, the food was pretty good especially for the price. Drinks were a bit watered down (which was expected since it was happy hour) but still decent. Stopped in for dinner because I waited late to find dinner. This was located less than 10 mins from my hotel so I decided to give them a try. I started with the buffalo cauliflower. There wasn't any buffalo flavor. It was crispy and tasted ok with the side of blue cheese. I also ordered the classic burger medium well.
