Came back for a quick lunch today. Got the shrimp Quesadilla (on Happy Hour) can't beat that! And the Poke bowl. Both were great.

Started off well and went quickly downhill. It's a very nice space, and accessible if you're using mobility equipment of any kind. Little loud, but that was OK. We got seated right away, and server came quickly and was helpful in making a drink selection. We Got our drinks and appetizer relatively quickly, but after we placed our entree order the server completely disappeared. Someone else brought our food and we literally didn't see anyone else until we hunted someone down to ask for a check. We were not offered more drinks, no one asked how things were going. Nothing. Food was good but would not go back.

Came here on a Friday evening. Our server was nice but a bit slow. We ordered the fiesta chicken wrap and Nashville hot sandwich, both with fries. The food came out fairly quick, but was luke warm. The fries tasted horrible and old like they have been sitting out for a long time. The waitress took a very long time to come back. When she did we ordered dessert. We ordered the bread pudding and creme brûlée cheesecake. She warned us that the bread pudding would take a while, which we were ok with. Upon the desserts arrival, the bread pudding was luke warm, and the cheesecake wasnt that good. It then took a long time for us to get the check. This is a one and done for me.

This pmo for real. It's a sour but like I wish the bartender had warned me it would look like ectoplasm.

I have a bit of a bias against this place and it's not really against THIS place at all. After my father died my mom spent a lot of time here to cope when it used to be Freddy's. Some might say too much time. Some might say. So I just typically avoid the area because it brings back so much...stuff. When it transitioned to Stateside sometime during the early days of the pandemic we did get take out once and it was delicious - I still dream about the Brussels sprouts. But it was a bit expensive when everyone was dying and all. Like am I really gonna risk my life for $16 sprouts? I think not. Now I think it's under new - new management. My cousin stopped by there about a month ago when she was in the area and gave it great reviews. I was feeling A Kind of Way a couple of weekends ago and just really wanted a cold beer. So me and huzzo stopped in. Service was good and beer was solid. This week I wanted another beer. Blame your president as he insists upon annihilating everyone and sending our collective pressure through the roof. We arrived about 20 minutes before the end of Happy Hour and snagged a couple of beers as well as wings and a shrimp quesadilla. The food was great but the service was the real stunner. I found myself stuck between two beers and the bartender suggested Arnold Palmering it and going halfsies on both. Fantastic decision - the mixed drink was refreshing and tart without being too pedestrian or too far afield. Food came out quickly and deliciously. Saved $15 on food prices alone during Happy Hour. Fat things: The bar stools are excellent - steel with a wide seat and a foot bar so your legs don't fall asleep. And they don't pack too many of them in so it's easy to get into and out of your seat without bumping someone else. Other stuff: They have regular indoor seating and an outdoor seating area on the side with couches, high table, and heat lamps. Overall, the space is open, airy, bright, and clean. It's pretty packed when the temps warm up but shoulder season is very nice for us right now. Be advised: Regular menu prices still seem steep - like everything else these days. But the food is good and they have a very nice craft beer selection. If you can't make happy hour and are looking to treat yourself this might be it. We'll def return!

Laidback restaurant that still feels upscale. Came for happy hour and was pleasantly surprised by the wide selection of drinks. They have a huge selection of food and apps and lots of seating on a weekday evening, which is great for big groups. Service was fast and friendly.

Sat at the bar for Taco Tuesday. Enjoyed some local craft beers, trivia night, and Tuesday night specials. Went with the mole wings and chicharonnes with guac. The wings were a little dry but good flavor and great amount of meat. The chicharonnes were not as I imagined, more like fried pork than the typical fluffy skins but they were amazing, salty and flavorful and paired perfectly with the guac and chips! Overall it was a great visit and recommend this place for the food, brews, and vibes.

BRING YOUR APPETITE!! I came for happy hour and stayed for the vibes. There are 3 menus and a separate menu for taco Tuesday. The main bartender was informative but didn't give me a second to decide.I let him know it's my first time visiting and he suggested anything with the short rib.The happy hour features $10 small plates.I opted for the Birria Quesadilla and Caribbean jerk wings. The wings were really hard with a bunch of seasoning but no taste. The Quesadilla was where all the flavor was and it came with a salad.I wasn't expecting so much food from a $10 menu.I can't wait to come back for taco Tuesday

Some good old fashioned standard pub fare with an above average eclectic playlist! Absolutely nothing wrong with that on a late Summer night. Donna Summer, Cheap Trick, Van Halen & Billy Ocean? Check! The guac was fresh, the chips were crispy and salted, the quesadillas were warm & hearty and the music was just loud enough for peak vibes but not to the point where it was obnoxious. Cute decor, lots of drinks and apps to choose from, happy hour specials on the weekend and an eclectic 70s, 80s & 90s playlist right in Somerset so no need to venture to New Brunswick!

Large bar area open to the dining area which is simplistic in style. Noise from bar definitely impacts dining atmosphere. Took longer than expected (about 20 minutes with only 5 seated tables at the time of visit) to get short rib poutine, but 5 on the taste and size!!! Puebla quesadilla with shrimp was excellent, with the shrimp diced so there was a huge amount, although one slice had 3 small pieces. Establishment is at the end of a strip mall and has garage doors on one side that could open for summer weather. Nice "once and done" experience

Our party of 4 adults and two toddlers tried this place, as it was close to the hotel and had some good Yelp reviews. It has something for everyone on the menu, and they will prepare children's orders such as pasta with butter or chicken nuggets upon request. We ordered: Crispy Cauliflower Stateside Sliders Short Rib Poutine Fish & Chips Paremsan Pesto Penne Short Rib Dinner Brisket Sliders Spicy Tuna Small Plate Churros Vanilla Bean Cheesecake Overall, it was a good dinner, with good service. There were some winners and losers that I sampled, and here are my findings: Winners: + Crispy Cauliflower (delicious) + Parmesan Pesto Penne (tasty, nice sauce) + Brisket Sliders (delicious) Losers: - Stateside Sliders (dry) - Spicy Tuna Small Plate (where's the tuna - didn't like this dish at all?!) It's a loud place, with high ceilings and no sound absorbing materials to be found. It's an echo chamber. That said, we enjoyed the dinner, and would certainly return.

Nice selection of brews. Great service. Reasonable prices. Very roomy inside which is great. The Stateside Tavern Pretzel - Our Colossal Pretzel, Stone Ground Dijon Mustard + Homemade Beer Cheese, to start for the table was great. Generally I'm not a mustard fan, but this one had a horseradish bite to it that was amazing. The Hot Nashville Chicken - Buttermilk Marinated Fried Chicken, Aged Cheddar, Slaw, Garlic Mayo, Pretzel Brioche, House Cut Fries, was a perfect option for dinner. Not too hot but definitely spicy enough. The only reason this really popped up on my radar was the JetBlue card promotion email. I am new to how that works but it was a nice bonus in coming here and I am glad I found another great semi local spot to bookmark.

Everyone also enjoyed the fries, which is included in most meals. Also, the "white rice" is more of a pilaf (as it includes bits of carrot and peas), which was also tasty. The hot sauce by the table is sour and a bit hot. While I didn't personally enjoy it, I've tasted something similar at other BBQ joints, so it's more about personal preference. The bartender and the rest of the staff were friendly and accommodating, but my interaction with the general manager was the complete opposite. I understand that bringing a dog into an establishment comes with expectations, and I have no issue following the rules. However, the way those expectations were communicated felt unnecessarily rude, condescending, and unwelcoming. At one point, my dog accidentally tipped over his water bowl, which was placed next to my chair and wasn't creating a hazard for other guests. Rather than handling the situation with a bit of grace, the general manager seemed visibly irritated and made me feel uncomfortable over what was clearly an accident. I had been excited to try this wine bar since I recently moved just a few blocks away and was hoping it would become my neighborhood spot. It's unfortunate that one interaction overshadowed an otherwise positive experience with the rest of the staff. Because of how I was treated, I won't be returning.
