Amazing food and such a welcoming vibe! Sergio made us feel truly at home, he added a personal touch that makes the whole experience special! Can't wait to come back!

I came here with some friends. We were seated right away. I immediately ordered a pitcher of their Red Sangria. It was really good, and well balanced with apples, peaches, lemons, and oranges in it.I wound up getting two pitchers. Spain 92 does have a full bar.You can even eat there if you choose. They have a few high hats in the bar area. Fresh hot rolls were put on the table with butter. All the tables have white linen table cloths on them. It's a very relaxed and casual atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The owner walks around and he checks on everyone. He was extremely friendly and welcoming. His family comes from Spain and he's been in the business for years. They do Corporate Events and all types of Parties. For Appetizers I started with CHORIZOS ESPAÑOLES grilled Chorizo with peppers, It was good. I also ordered CAMARONES AL AJILLO Garlic Shrimp. If you like garlic then this is the appetizer to get. I like to dip my bread in the sauce. It's very garlicky. For my Entree I ordered MARISCADA SPAIN 92 in Green Sauce. My dish had lobster, shrimp, clams, and mussels in a salsa verde sauce. I prefer it over the optional red sauce. On the side came a dish of yellow rice and fried potatoes. The potatoes were similar to thick fried potato chips. My Boyfriend ordered ARROZ CON POLLO- Chicken and Rice. He really enjoyed it and got two full meals out of it. My other friend ordered their TERNERA SPAIN 92 veal cutlets, stuffed with ham and cheese prepared in a sherry wine and lemon sauce. My friend really liked it.His wife ordered FILET MIGNON SPAIN 92 sliced filet with shrimp in a brandy sauce. She loved her dish. For Dessert I ordered a FLAN. Everyone was full so I only ordered one dessert. The flan was creamy and delicious. The caramel truly makes the dish. I would suggest getting a flan for each person. It is a perfect ending to a lovely dinner.

I went there during my birthday dinner with my good friends. Lovely atmosphere and great display of hospitality. Parking is easy and free. Reservations can be made ahead of time. The owner came out towards the end and told me a funny joke. I took my paella to go and he drew me a dog on the box and asked me what it could be. The food was excellent and as was our server. I have no complaints.

Frequent here, as it is one of my favorites Was in last week, hadn't been in a while. The lamb was cooked to perfection as usual. My friends steak also cooked perfectly. The impact of the pandemic is telling by the shortage of staff but it didn't show in the service, Atalo sat us, tended bar & waited on us. Sergio & Manny were there to check in on us & Santiago bussed and served us. When we arrived it wasn't so busy as it was early but as we left the tables were filling up. It seems like here as well as my other friends restaurants have the same problem finding staff. This pandemic/staffing situation has to end soon or we'll all be a mess. It's not fair to owners who've been established for 30 years.

My SO and I visited Spain 92 for a small, private wedding and I was very impressed with the space. There was plenty of parking available and we were greeted upon our entry and told where to go. They sectioned off an area for the wedding, so we had full privacy to enjoy seeing our friends get married. The service was fantastic, and they were very accommodating with providing me with a vegetarian paella separate from the menu my friends made. The food and sangria were delicious, and this has been our favorite wedding so far, given the intimacy and quality of the restaurant.

Great atmosphere, not too noisy, fantastic sangria and great food. We didn't need reservations and were seated right away even though it was very busy and a Saturday night.

I have been here many times, but this is the first time that I thought to write up a review for them. Good, solid food. The quality is the same as going to the Ironbound, and you don't even have to go to Newark! My wife and I both ordered the paella (me the one with chicken and sausage, and she the seafood-only one), and they make it with a "dry rice" rather than a "wet rice," which is how we like it. If you've eaten paella at different places, I think you'll know what I mean by that. However, my one criticism is that their paella no longer has scallops in it anymore. I'm guessing this is to keep the price down. But yeah, we noticed.

The parking was actually full when we arrived, possibly because of the bar using the same lot. But there is an elevated connected lot for the bowling alley that has plenty of parking. I have to say that the best thing about this place is the service: everyone was very friendly, and quick to attend us. Food was great, except maybe the flake fish (first course). Seemed more Spanish to me than Portuguese though. Portions were huge... actually had leftovers from a dish, which is the first for me from a tasting menu. The prices were reasonable In terms of why I'm giving this 4 star instead of 5: -we were seated at the "Chefs counter", but did not really have a view of the prep, which was really far away. Basically could just see the fireplace. The sister restaurant Heirloom is a much better chef's counter setup where you are seeing everything -Dishes seemed to be regular menu type dishes (just smaller portions), as opposed to super interesting types that you would expect from a tasting menu -Beverage pairing was okay... didn't really love the wines For these reasons, I'd likely return, but just stick to the regular menu/ experience.

We used the valet service, and upon walking inside, I noticed an older gentleman playing the piano in the foyer, which gave the place a really nice atmosphere. Even though the restaurant was busy, our wait was only about 5-10 minutes. While waiting, I couldn't help but notice how large the restaurant is. There are two bars and several separate dining areas that looked perfect for larger parties and special occasions. Once seated, we were served fresh bread while looking over the menu. I ordered the 32-ounce prime rib with A1 sauce, red peppers, and roasted potatoes. I also had the chance to try some of the sea bass. Both dishes were excellent. The prime rib was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, while the sea bass was fresh and well-prepared. A special shoutout to our waiter, Milan, who was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was taken care of throughout our meal. Overall, it was a fantastic brunch experience, and I will absolutely be back in the near future.

Kind of felt the need to put that out there, it's not really a suburban location. That said, echoing some of the others I'm reading snippets of, WOW to everything - the service, the food, the ambiance. It's got charm when you walk in, looks old but not dated. The waitstaff is super friendly, has some jokes, multi-talented (they brought out the guitar a few times to wish some other folks happy birthday), and knowledgeable. The food is really good - everything I tried was just delicious. For the table, we ordered some calamari and empanadas, and both were good. Drinks were also tasty - that sangria was really good, and the mojito (love that they had it available, first of all!) was also a hit. I would double-click on that sangria, though. For my entree, I ordered their whole fish, which was not only delicious but HUGE. I ate about half of it and was full. Then my friend and I split an order of limoncello cake (I think that's what it was), which was on point, and ended w/ espresso, also good. Overall, everything about that place was great, and when I mentioned a Spanish place in Trenton the next morning to some guys I was with, one of them asked, was it Malaga? I'm not sure if it was because it was midweek or if the chef was simply off his game on this night, but the experience was disappointing overall. The first thing I noticed when I sat down was that my knife was dirty. I ended up taking another knife from a different table. The ambiance, as always, was wonderful, and there were only two other tables occupied, so the restaurant was not busy at all. They started us off with soup, and it was chicken noodle soup. I was honestly very disappointed. When I go to a Spanish restaurant, especially one like this, I expect something traditional like caldo gallego or a similar house soup -- not chicken noodle soup that I could easily make at home. For appetizers, we ordered shrimp in garlic sauce and calamari. Both were absolutely delicious and honestly the highlight of the meal. We also had to ask the waiter for bread, and when it finally arrived, we were each given one very small roll. Our main entrées were sautéed tilapia and shrimp in lemon sauce with mashed potatoes and string beans, and breaded veal cutlet Milanese with mushrooms in a wine and brandy sauce over mashed potatoes. Unfortunately, neither entrée stood out the way meals here usually do. The tilapia was sitting on a bed of mashed potatoes and absolutely swimming in lemon sauce. There was so much sauce that it completely soaked the mashed potatoes and vegetables. I could only eat the top portion of the fish. My husband also mentioned that his breaded veal was very oily. The waiter never returned to ask if we wanted anything else to drink. The water had no ice and felt warm. We also had to ask for additional bread. I'm used to bread being left at the table, not rationed piece by piece. When the waiter asked if we enjoyed our meal, I politely explained that I did not care for mine and why, especially since most of it was left untouched. He looked at me like I had ten heads. I truly hate writing this because this restaurant has been one of my favorites for years, but this visit just did not live up to the standard I've come to expect.
