I come to this location a couple times through out the month and love this place. However today I received horrible service from our server nicki. Her attitude was as if she didn't want to be at work. She didn't check up on us one time after we received our food, the only time we seen our server was when she took our order, gave our food and gave us our check. I understand they might of been busy but that doesn't excuse the fact to check on your table and no excuse for the poor attitude. She ruined what is usually a great experience at brunch cafe. Also she seemed to have a problem with giving us some napkins when we asked for some. We didn't receive any napkins to begin with and when we ask for some she only gave us 1 each. I will be back again because I like this place but I hope this server is talked to because there is no excuse to have negative energy like that especially when the rest of the staff are so nice. It would be nice if the managers walked around once in awhile to make sure tables are doing okay. P.s the bussers and hostess are really nice! read more

We went here today for the first time solely based on reviews from Yelp. I am happy to report, this place does not disappoint in the slightest. Woooooooow - it was crazy good! The server told me this is the same people that own Meat and Potatoes and that now makes total sense to me. The food is great at both places. I got the steak skillet with the Apple bread French toast and my Mom got the cream of chicken soup with the Irish skillet. All the food was insanely good, especially the soup and the Apple bread French toast. The skillet I had (steak) was so insanely flavorful without being stupid salty. We brought five people & a baby here on a busy Sunday, was told a half hour but waited only twenty minutes. (Score!) The hostess was nice & accommodating getting us a sling for our baby carrier. Our waitress was nice enough, the reason for the three stars is the side dishes. As most people going out for breakfast we didn't just want our main food (pancakes, skillet, biscuits & gravy, which all tasted fine, nothing spectacular) but wanted some breakfast meats to go with. Everything is a la carte (no combos) and VERY expensive. $2.99 for three strips of super over cooked bacon, so dry and tasteless must have been microwaved. Fine place in a pinch but you could get better for your buck. (Or three as the case may be). read more

First time in today! Got seated right away and the server we had was super nice. Everything came out perfect and as ordered. Added an extra side of hashbrowns after the fact and they still came out at a good time! Loved that they have wax strings for the kids instead of the usual crayons and the restaurant is so spacious, it makes you feel cozy but not suffocated like in other places. Great breakfast place to go to on the weekends. I went at 7:30am on a Saturday and they were empty but by 8am there was a wait. I like their innovative takes on traditional breakfast dishes. The veggie potato pancake I ordered was great. This is one of the better places in the area and is worth the wait. read more

I just attended a kid birthday party at this adorable little cafe. The cafe usually closes up shop at 2:30 but my friend had rented the place starting at 3:30 for the party. This was a perfect spot for the party since there were a good amount of people in attendance, many were little kids. We were able to block off an area of the cafe for kids to play with toys and have a craft table. They also set up a long table area in the center of the restaurant for the buffet line. It was typical buffet, party style food including beef sandwiches, mostaccioli, chicken parm, salad, and chicken fingers. Food was hot and decent. I have to say the five stars definitely go to the servers and staff here. Every single person working had a smile on their face, offered refills on drinks, and made sure there wasn't a mess to be seen. I have to say, it got a little hectic with so many little ones running around and no one seemed to be bothered or annoyed. One waitress even said that seeing all the little kids just "warmed her heart". As a mom of a rambunctious toddler, I loved hearing this! If you are needing to find a place for a rather large catered party, I would highly suggest this place! I live rather far away so I probably won't be able to try this place for breakfast, but if I'm in the area, you know where I will be stopping! read more

Not only is the food delicious, the service is incredible. I took my 8mo and my 85 yr old grandmother there around lunch on a Tuesday. The place was busy but not packed. Our food took a little longer than normal, but to make up for the inconvenience the owner gave us a gift certificate for next time and didn't charge us for my son's pancakes. the service was good, the food was ok but the stuffed crepes and french toast were nauseating. They overdid it with the strawberry filling and put on 3 times of was was required. Had to scrape off at least 1 cupful too much. I complained to the manager and his attitude really needs an adjustment. He said thats how they make it and if I didn't like it to get something else nest time.He seems to think his place is Gods gift to Huntley. He just struts around and never asks anyone how they like things. I will never go back again. I have tried 4 times now and they try to make the food too fancy and overdo it every time. No more foo foo restaurant for me. Give me a good old fashioned restaurant every time. i will go to Papa G's or Allens corners from now on. Pass on this place. I really liked Brunch Cafe! It was busy when I arrived with my husband and parents, but the restaurant is pretty big inside so we were seated with no problems. The breakfast menu is big and varied and I was able to get a baked potato omelet, no bacon, which had diced, seasoned potatoes, sour cream, green onions and cheddar cheese cooked right into a huge pile of fluffy eggs. It was delicious! The hash browns on the side (I had potatoes inside and outside of my omelet, yum!) were really good, too- really thinly shredded and extra-crisp. If I had one complaint, it would be that the pancakes were pretty small, but I was stuffed anyway. My coffee was kept consistently refilled, service was friendly and prompt and the food was delicious! I would definitely return and kind of wish there was a Brunch Cafe in Naperville. read more

Eggs Benedict for lunch should be enough of a review but the service was great also. I actually drive past this place on my regular travels but honestly had never noticed it. I actually was stopping to go to another place that's pretty close and saw the sign. Being a yelp guy I pulled up my app and saw the many nice reviews. Very nice open clean well ran place. Was greeted right away even though they were busy. Was seated and the server was right there getting my drink order and when I told her I was torn between the Eggs Benedict or an omelet she smiled and said I always go for the Hollandaise sauce. Had breakfast today with the husband at this place. We recently moved to Algonquin and figured we'd try this place. I got the ham and cheese omelet, which came with toast and I picked fruit as one of the other choices. The omelet was massive, to the point that I could barely eat half of it! It was fresh and hot, and came out super quickly. Husband got the same omelet, he just substituted the cheese for cheddar (I got mine with swiss cheese). Prices are reasonable and within range of what other breakfast places charge. Our omelets were under $10. We only waited maybe 10 minutes to be seated even though the restaurant was pretty busy.
