Worst grease pizza. I thought they at least do pizza ok. Nope! Maybe it's just delivery orders. Grease standing on top, couldn't pick up crust so soaked in grease. Delivery still warm so not delayed. Never order delivery. read more

Bruno's came through with lasagna so good it almost made me forget my problems. Cheesy, saucy, baked to pure perfection -- honestly, if this lasagna proposed, I'd say yes. The Italian bread loaf rolled in looking all soft and golden, like it was ready to change my life... and then had the nerve to show up without butter. None. Nada. Dry as my last situationship. First Impressions: A Saturday evening. Nice, clean, casual ambiance with welcoming smiles. The first unfortunate thing is that Tyler has some of the worst tasting (even filtered)water and they don't offer any bottled water. However, the soda is filtered differently and it was very good. No "dirty"water aftertaste. Our server, Ashley, was so friendly and personable. She was very accommodating to our requests. Really enjoyed her service. A++ Pizza was good. We don't think it's the best we've had in Tyler but it's good. The parmesan chicken wings were definitely the highlight. Overall a good experience. read more

Ordered the half order of spaghetti with meatballs and mushrooms. It was a huge portion. However, I Would not order this again. Meatballs were average and sauce was not good. I absolutely love brunos here in tyler. I usually use doordash and have never been disappointed. I've been to one of their locations as well and was greeted by very nice staff for pick up. I usually get the vegetarian pizza or supreme (I know how it sounds lol) they pack on the flavor and the pizza is cooked thoroughly and the veggies aren't burned. I know I get behind on my reviews, but I cannot believe that I have never reviewed Bruno's. Bruno's is located right down the road from our house, and we eat there on a regular basis. The ambiance is typical pizza motif. The interior accommodates a lot of people. The servers do a good job, but the kitchen is slow so we order our pizzas at the same time that we order our house salad that is very fresh iceberg lettuce and is a large portion topped with fresh mozzarella cheese and green olives. We always order the supreme pizza and our grandson orders a pizza with Alfredo Sauce and double Canadian bacon. Writing this review makes me want to go to Bruno's tonight! read more

We have been here twice. The first time, the food was very mediocre: the lettuce was white, the sauce was watery, the pasta dishes had ZERO taste. How is that possible? We thought they were having an off day, so we decided to try them again months later. That meal was not only worse than the first one, it was the worst meal we have ever had. No taste. First time we have been here in a long time. We were so excited until we walked in. There were 3 young ladies standing there talking. One finally asked if we wanted a booth or table. We said booth and stood there waiting. She finally took us in and we were expecting the place to be full. It was completely empty at noon. We were first one's to be seated. Honestly, if you are going to go dine in OR even call in an order then go do it during off-peak times because it can get extremely busy and Quality and Customer Service suffer as a consequence. Came here with the family on a Sunday. We ordered a variety of things. The pizza was really good, was surprised and expected to be let down but it was very good. Ordered garlic Parmesan chicken wings and they were AMAZING. Like, the best garlic Parmesan wings I've ever had. Also ordered a chicken Parmesan sandwich and it was very tasty. Our first visit to Bruno's was a great one. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We decided to go with the Lasagna and the 12" pizza. The pizza had a ton of flavor ! Sausage , jalapeño, ham, olives, bell peppers, onions, hamburger, pepperoni and cheese. The Lasagna was several layers thick and probably the best I've had. It also came with a hot roll. Before the main course, we had a salad. Lettuce, tomato, green olives and mozzarella. Fresh and very good. The portion sizes were very big. I liked that for decorations, they had baseball everything. This place is really a disappointment. Ordered a pizza and spaghetti. The toppings were piled all in the middle and just too much of them. The crust was thin and soggy. Not happy with this place anymore Of course it's a mess in the dining room, so I have only tried takeout. I do like the calzones but .. Why does the salad (and the cheese that comes with it) have to be slopped around the plastic container? Last time, I ordered Italian dressing and got creamy. This time, I ordered oil and vinegar (which I thought meant vinaigrette) and I got two leaky containers, one with oil and one with vinegar. And another mess to clean up. I give up. read more

I did a to go order and was quoted a 20 minute turnaround. I arrived to the restaurant right in time. The employee working had her back to the customers and it took her a good bit to acknowledge me. Checked out and said it would be a few more minutes. After 15 minutes of waiting without acknowledgment again I asked about my order. She went back to check and said it was the next one up. After waiting another 10 minutes I had to cut to the side and ask her again letting her know it was now 25 minutes after the quoted time. I don't know why I was surprised because the last time we went in the restaurant service was poor. Great food but awful service and the kitchen struggles to get your food ready timely. read more

Love the pizza but what a disaster it is. Horribly run kitchen, and wait staff have gotten our orders wrong every single time we've ordered for take out or doordash. Phone call back after missing items yielded immediate hold, not even a "Bruno's can I put you on hold?" So a few things possibly going on here, bad management, ineffective wait staff, untrained kitchen staff who can't read, either a hostile work environment or they are not paying enough or attracting enough good folks who insist on accurate orders. If they had a way to double check or triple check every order that goes out to customers that would help a lot. The fact that they miss orders consistently, for every single order we've done, just begs the question who's running that place? They're wasting so much money with inefficient and poorly trained staff. There are too many of them. They wait for others to do stuff. Girl didn't know where sweetener for tea was kept took her 5 min to find sweet n low. Just plain and simple bad training. read more
