We met with several contractors to get quotes for our exterior painting project. After speaking with Mitch, we were confident that he would do the best job of any of them. He runs the company and does all of the work by himself. Mitch was very thorough when doing the walkthrough and took the time to explain what would be involved. We liked that he planned to backroll the paint after spraying to get better coverage. We also liked that he planned to brush rather than spray several major areas. We felt that he would be conscientious about his work and would conduct business with integrity. When you have painting done, the quality of the work depends a lot on the skill level and conscientiousness of every worker. Unfortunately, you don't have the opportunity to meet all of the workers when you ask for a quote. Typically, you can only talk to the sales person. Our experience with painting projects has been that sometimes the work did not meet quality expectations due to that disconnect. When we learned that Mitch would be doing all the work himself, it resolved a major concern about the quality. We found Mitch to be super accommodating. He kept us updated on all progress and finished the work on schedule. When working with contractors, we like working with small companies where the owner gets personally involved in each job. We find that it helps ensure high quality results and makes after service support easier. Working with Brushin' and Rollin' was a great example of this. It was our lucky day when we called Brushin' N' Rollin' to paint our exterior trim. Our house was drab, ordinary, and tired-looking. Thanks to Mitch, it's now fresh, sharp as a tack, and makes us feel so happy when we pull up to our curb. We had a lot of narrow, precision trim we wanted done - in multiple colors -- around our windows. Mitch's work was flawless. We had Brushin' N' Rollin paint our house recently. I have never had a better experience getting my house painted. Mitch, the owner, was professional and courteous the entire time he was at the house. He was extremely helpful with color placement and he communicated where he was going to be working or what he was going to be working on so it wasn't really even that disruptive to have him there. I called Mitch Perez from Brushin and Rollin to help with my house after I removed the old aluminum siding. The siding was in good condition but the windows were in real trouble. Mitch spent a great deal of time prepping the house and making everything look great prior to painting. Given the number of holes in the wood siding after the aluminum removal, it is amazing that you cannot see any of them now. All of the gaps and cracks were very well prepped and just in time before the rain comes. I feel very confident in my decision to use Mitch. My son-in-law recommended Mitch Perez of Brushin' and Rollin' to do some interior painting for me. Mitch had painted the exterior of their home in the past year and it was top notch. He came VERY highly recommended. I called Mitch and he was friendly, helpful and accommodating. Even though he was working on some larger projects, he was able to get to me in a very timely manner. I had hired a color consultant and had my colors chosen already. There were several color changes Mitch had to deal with as well as painting a large expanse of that lovely "popcorn ceiling" which was sorely in need of paint. Other contractors I had spoken with were very reluctant to take on that ceiling, trying to talk me out of painting it. Mitch was enthusiastic saying it would look so much better with fresh paint. And he was right. He was able to get quality paint at a discount which saved me money and was ready to roll within a week of calling him. He was prompt and took precautions to protect my furniture and other items in the work area. The project involved my living and dining rooms, kitchen, hallway, a large brick hearth, and the ceiling of those areas. I must say, he did the most professional job! The ceiling and some walls were more challenging than he originally thought including one patch job, but he didn't balk and was able to breeze through it and did an excellent job. All the color change areas were precise. He does NOT cut corners at all. I have 2 good friends who are interior decorators and have hired painting contractors for client projects. They were both equally impressed with Mitch's craftsmanship and will be using him in the future. I am thrilled with this paint project and love love love the work he did. He completed the project within 3 days and left my home clean and tidy. I would not hesitate to recommend Brushin' and Rollin' to anyone with interior or exterior projects!! He showed up on time -- a bit early, actually -- and he was such a cool, genuinely nice guy that it yanked me out of my morning funk and put me in a better mood for the rest of the day. Mitch was a dream to work with and made our house so beautiful! Previously all our interior walls were a sad yellowish-beige, and now thanks to Mitch they are fresh and bright and our house feels so much more comfortable. He spent a full week repainting all our walls, kitchen cabinets, and touching up moulding, and we couldn't be happier with the result.
