I'd highly recommend my dentist Dr. Emerald Khoo, she performs my cleanings noticeably better than my previous dentist whom i'd been going to for a decade and she's pretty funny. After eight years of dental care, I can wholeheartedly say that Gary and his team remains my top choice. Even after trying out other dental practices a couple times (sorry!), I always end up back here, and for good reason. Since then, they have expanded the office and the interior has been completely updated and looks incredible, welcoming, and very modern. Gary and his team (he has hired a few others since then) still does a fantastic job during cleanings and finding out areas of improvement to help make sure your dental health is great. The fear of "going to the dentist" is still absent, as my wife also still goes here and is the most comfortable here. We also brought her parents here too and they've done a phenomenal job in helping with their issues! They continue to stay at the edge of dental technology, and really showing the truth in "you get what you pay for." Unlike many dental offices, particularly DMOs, where really feel like just another number, the staff here genuinely cares about your health and happiness. They've even tackled stains that other dentists/hygienists couldn't manage! Finally, to add, they really bring the community aspect to their practice. Emerald was great seeing me for my annual check up and I had such a pleasant experience. She was super thorough explaining to me my teeth conditions and I didn't feel like anything was forced on me. This is my statement when I visit the dentist and talked to front desk. . Clued my crown. The staff said it costed total $170.00 for today, but did not mention anything about this cost is for consultant fee, this will lead to my understanding that my tooth will be clued fors $170.00. But end up I got nothing done, my tooth remained the same, and the consultant charges is $170.00. If this is your policy, why don't you let customers know upfront and clearly stated that instead of now I have the feeling of Brushwell is cheating my $170.00. During The doctor exam, he used less than 10 minutes to evaluate my tooth and said, your tooth is totally contaminated, you need a new crown or do implant, the old crown can not be used. and I was charged for $170.00 with nothing done, except the X-ray and consultant. I literally feel like when I walk into any medical office I'm not going to make it out alive(had a really difficult experience while I was having my 2nd child and it has left me with PTSD). Experience with Teeth Cleaning, Cavities and Gum Restoration (receded gums surgery) I looked all over yelp for a dentist I could go to to fix my receding gums. Then I landed here and wow the pictures were amazing so I hurried and set an appointment. Everyone there is so nice. I felt so welcomed! Dr. Gary handled my teeth cleaning and cavities. I didn't go to the dentist for a long time so there was some work to be done. Honestly, they did amazing. They were gentle and always asked if I was okay. When we did my 3 cavities I was numbed and didn't feel anything at all. The nice part is you can't tell which tooth had a cavity because they matched the color so well and it looks realistic. I was pretty surprised. They even asked if it felt funny and fixed the molding (idk the term) so it fit well when I bite down. So thoughtful. Dr. Tsai worked on my gum surgery. I was scared but it went so well. I couldn't feel a thing. The first day of healing hurt but the day after the pain is gone. Totally worth it. It doesn't even look like I had receding gums. Each employee from receptionist to dentist took a genuine interest in what I had to say and the service was very thorough. My first appt today was for a comprehensive exam at 4:30pm and I was there until after 6 without ever feeling rushed. Dr. Emerald was so thorough with understanding both medical and dental history to examining and explaining every detected teeth concern. Everything was based on need and what you want without any sales pitch and the best was the patience and listening to your related and unrelated thoughts.
