I just want to give a shout out to Dr. Kang. In my life so far, he has definitely been the best dentist I've ever had. He's incredibly skilled and an expert in his field. He does everything from regular dentistry to cosmetic procedures and implants. One thing I really like is that he has multiple offices throughout the SGV, so it's pretty convenient to find a location that works for you. He also has a great staff that takes good care of you and makes sure you're comfortable throughout the process. Special shout out to Grace, she is awesome and always very helpful when it comes to scheduling and billing They also accept many different types of insurance, which makes things even easier. I have two of big gaps with my teeth which already affected I eat food, I came to the clinic and had my Invisalign consultation here with Dr Kang two months ago, he was very friendly and has good service with his professional teams; he gave me a very detailed information for my whole Invisalign treatment. I told her that the dentist confirmed with her that the simple procedure would be covered but the front desk lady said that I still had to pay. She even threatened to send me to collections if I did not pay. So I paid the $100 and will never be coming back here again. The communication at this dental clinic is concerning. This place has changed. The good dentist that works here now dont do cleanings. So theyll have some other associates perform them. Their website is not updated so you dont known if you're going to get a licensed dentist or their assistants. If you book an appointment, expect to wait another 30mins because they arent effieicient with their time management. Its not worth the wait for some random non dentist to do my cleanings and bill my insurance 100%. Waste of my time and $$$. They lost 2 long time customer. Customer service is very bad! I called in to check if they can't accept my delta PPO insurance , but the girl answered the phone could not find any information for my dental insurance, which I have used everywhere before. The girl answered the phone had no patience and she did not know how to check insurance and how to set an appointment. And I asked her to double check the insurance but she told me she was about to leave work ( it was only 3pm) ! I'm writing this review hoping it will reach new patients that are looking for a caring and proper business practice dental office group to NOT CHOOSE THIS PLACE! Me and my girlfriend made a dental cleaning appointment for the same time. When we made it, as a common sense we thought we would be taken care off either at the same moment, or just a little bit of time difference apart right? Well, I patiently waited 1:30 HOURS just to have my X-ray done. Luckily when I mean lucky, I really mean it, my girlfriend got her tooth cleaned, but the doctor did a terrible job. She only cleaned the tooth for less than10 minutes. I don't know if this time frame is common for a regular tooth cleaning, but the previous dental office I went, the nurses and doctors took their time and PATIENCE to evaluate each cleaning and patient. So when my girlfriend got her tooth done, I was pretty mad. I asked the front desk lady why did I wasted 1:30 hour waiting without any advance noticed that I Would have to wait for the same doctor, and the same room as my girlfriend to have my tooth cleaned? This is just poor management and this is not a surprise coming from this dental office as This place squeezes as many appointments as they probably could knowing their facility is short in rooms and equipments to facilitate each patients appointment. How I know this? Well this isn't the first time it happened to me!!! Last time I came to have my braces adjusted, I waited at least 1 hour as well. So this isn't just an accident or a "oops my bad we messed up ONLY THIS TIME" It's terrible to see and experience this well establish business that takes profit over service to many of their clients and patients. Every small business establishment can only fit so many patients each day per appointment, but this dental establishment has shown to me based on my experience (I'm sure I'm not the first one) that they rather rush through 2 appointments within 30mins that patiently take care of one first. read more

Dental office is probably my most fearful place by all mean and I am probably the girl who screamed the loudest in his office but Dr Kang's general care and pre-discussion with me had sure helped a lot! His deep knowledge and experiences would let you rest assure that your dental health is definitely in good hands. I have had teeth cleaning, deep cleansing, filling done (and sadly probably root canal soon!) from this office. Though any dental work would probably sound painful to you like it is for me, but if you have to do it either way, Dr Kang would be your #1 choice and I wouldn't have done it any other way around. Disclaimer: this place is like an all inclusive resort. You can pretty much find everything here. Let's get down to business: I am definitely a repeat customer. I had to get a lot of work done and still in the middle of it. Long road ahead. RECEPTION They are always so welcoming and so knowledgeable. So friendly! They always greet be by name. I call Grace almost every other week. She is always great at reminding me of my appointments and explaining procedures. My schedule is pretty crazy and I work a lot of odd hours but they have always managed to accommodate me. They personally call me and send text reminders so I won't miss my appointments. Sometimes I'm late due to traffic and they will stay a bit later to take care of me. PATIENT ROOMS So spacious! Not crammed like a bunch of sardines. they make sure everything's clean and disinfected before they even allow you to step foot in the room. Not to mention all the technological advances. I like being able to see my X-rays on the computer screen in my patient room while the doctor explains what needs to be done. DOCTORS Since I've had a plethora of work done and so much more scheduled, I've worked with several different dentists here. My primary is Dr. Kang. He is fantastic! Even though he is super busy and has so many patients, he never rushes and always takes his time explaining all the procedures as well as any questions I have. Waited two hours and did not get a call back so I called them back, when I asked them again the receptionist (who has an asian accent) said, oh you're the one with the medical right? This has always been my family dentist ever since its inception! Not only are the dentists here skilled and experienced, providing a painless experience and never with any noticeable mistake, they more importantly understand their patients and provide well-tailored experiences! This is especially important, since while the dentist's opinion matters, what also matters is the uniqueness and demands of each patient. That said, they are extremely patient with each patient. Not only do they provide information and explanation on every step throughout the procedure (e.g. I'm going to first perform X, then do Y, then Z. The reason we need to do Y is because 123.), they also take in the patient's feedback. For example, when I am reacting uncomfortably to something, the doctors would either comfort me, or even stop for a second depending on the situation! They are very professional and listen very closely to you. The quality of their treatment is also exceptional. They often go above and beyond what is expected. Just a simple tooth cleaning? Let's add some fluoride at the end to help me because they can tell from a teeth/history that I have very sensitive teeth. Filling a cavity? Similarly let's add extra desensitizing protection around the tooth because of the same history of sensitive teeth. They also send out reminders after a while to get teeth cleaned and teeth x-rayed. In the early days it would come as courtesy calls and post cards, though I'm not exactly sure what the exact communication channels are nowadays. This has helped me on multiple occasions, for example in the early detection of my most recent cavity. I attribute my teeth of minimal problems to the care that I've received here in the last 12+ years. Would be happy to continue relying on them to not need to worry about my teeth as long as both they and I are around :) read more
