(unless you're like me and want to live on the wild side ) This place IS a bit out of the way from where we currently live but we did happen to be in the area so when in Rome (or in this case Beaufort)...get ice cream. Their ice cream is the best! All the flavors taste rich and delicious. Earlier I got a regular cup (comes with 3 scoops) so I chose black cherry chocolate chunk, birthday cake, and horchata flavors. My dad got a regular waffle cone with white turtle ice cream. We both loved what we got. If you're not sure which flavor to get, they offer samples. The ice cream was wonderful!!! I ate the deep dish apple pie + the Hersey's Chocolate on a fresh baked waffle cone. All the ice in made on premise and the service there was like they were family. It's a family owned business, we met the owner pressuring washing the exterior of the building, couldn't have been a nicer man, a person, I would want as a neighbor. I used to work at Brusters and make the ice cream, so I know what I like from there and be 100% okay with paying the price because of its quality. I recently got 2 pints, one of New York cheesecake, and one of chocolate raspberry truffle. I was not satisfied and kind of annoyed that I payed that much for "New York Cheesecake" that tasted like plain vanilla ice cream with some graham cracker. The "Chocolate Raspberry Truffle", was straight chocolate ice cream with little to no raspberry or chocolate flakes. Not a norm for Brusters Ice cream, hope it doesn't stay one. read more

So we got there a little before opening and we waited in their private parking lot. They opened promptly at 12. We were greeted by such a sweet man who took our order and made them fairly quick. For the area he had such an amazing personality and customer service. My daughter absolutely loved it. They offer a free baby come for kids under 40" tall but my daughter saw the gummy worm on their dirt sundae and had to have it. My husband had the hot fudge sundae and it was delicious. I got the blast that offered with a few different candies but I got the recees blast. Overall I would definitely go back based on customer service alone. But the ice cream was amazing too! read more

This location is very unprofessional. This is the second time we have placed an order for a birthday cake and the person taking the order does not relay the right info. We called today to see if cake was ready and it was nothing like we ordered. The person said they could not read the order so they just guessed and made whatever. I did a shocking thing! I went to Brusters at 2:30 on a Wednesday afternoon(cheating on my diet), but it turned out to be a good decision. Instead of getting my usual greeting of a straight mouth with a head cocked to the side, I got a warm, friendly, SMILING server with outstanding customer service skills and knowledge! She said that my butter pecan ice cream had just finished being made 15 minutes ago, and that their ice cream has 23% more butter fat in it, making it creamier and more flavorful than Haagen-Dazs or Breyers. I really do like this ice cream joint. I wouldn't say that it's the best per se that I've had, but it is truly exceptional and far outranks the other ice cream and yogurt places in Beaufort. You can tell that they use pretty good ingredients. I'm not a sweets person but I LOVE this place! Ice cream is delicious and the staff is super friendly! I've never had an issue here and we come all of the time! I'm a big kid so my favorite is their cotton candy, but everything else is really good too! Nice size portions for a good price and we've even gotten coupons mailed to us, plus a military discount!
