Writing this review to say that the manager of the store is phenomenal. Catered to our huge party during our visit to this small little town. We stopped by maybe 20 minutes before closing and they were able to accommodate our whole family. Couple of coffees and juices. The coffee was great. Plenty of choices, but since they were closing, we didn't want them to re-clean everything so we ordered simple coffees and lattes. I would definitely come and visit again if I'm ever in the area. We normally go to the port royal location. Not very often only because we live on St Helena. But whenever we go and order the avocado toast, it is wonderful... lots of avocado served on a whole grain type bread. Yummy. Today we were in Bluffton and stopped in to this location. Staff was friendly. But the avocado toast was on ciabatta bread (no one asked what kind of bread we wanted) and it was such a slim layer of avocado. Very disappointed. What I don't know is whether they have changed their toast for all locations and reduced the amount of avocado or was this a fluke or only typical of the Bluffton location. We will go back to the port royal location sometime this week because now I need to know! Oh and we tried the roasted potatoes which I have never tried before. I was very disappointed in this place. It just seems as if its just a meeting up spot or to grab coffee. I spent $50 on breakfast food which felt very processed. I deicded to get the breakfast Bowl and I asked for bacon instead of Churizo and the bacon tasted did not taste real it tasted like the broken up pieces from the jar. This was a huge disappointment . Ohhhh yeah, 5 stars! First of all, it's adorable. Two floors, with seating both indoor and outdoor. Upstairs it looks like they do some live music and events which I would have loved to get to see! It was very busy and perhaps a bit understaffed, but I love both the coffee and food. I got an organic cacao mocha latte and the bacon basil croissant sandwich. The breakfast sammie was flavorful and delicious and the coffee wasn't too sweet but I still got that mocha flavor. What a great place! Super friendly staff and owner. Great selection of menu drink and food items. Loved that many breakfast items were served in a cast iron skillet. Also big plus that they roast their own coffee. Drinks: hot Americano (good, but not amazing) and a honey lavender latte (amazing). Food: chorizo & avocado breakfast burrito. Super delicious! Great ratio of chorizo to egg to onions to everything else in there. Could have had black beans, but despite that, it was delicious. Love it in the whole wheat wrap and the chorizo was not overly greasy. Would recommend and would go again! We were visiting downtown Bluffton for the first time and looked for a coffee and tea place. We were not disappointed. The service was friendly and prompt. Had a flat white that had bold and well balanced flavor. The shop roasts its own coffee, and does an excellent job. Had an avocado toast that had a side of really nice fresh fruit. Good food and drinks but I just wish the coffee or fancy tea drinks were hotter. I asked for an extra hot chai latte and it was easily drinkable in a min. Pay attention to sizes-they don't skimp on their coffee. The large is 32 oz and delicious! Recommend the coconut mocha latte ordered half sweet. The chorizo avocado burrito was very good and freshly made. The usual (bacon, egg, toast, potatoes) was alright. Bacon was perfectly flavored and crunchy, eggs were cooked hard as requested, but the potatoes,seasoned with ample rosemary needed something else, maybe salt or sauce? The biggest disappointment and the reason I took off a star was the online menu is misleading. It advertised bottle orange juice but upon pick up, it was in a cup with a straw. The online ordering system also clearly shows watermelon and cantaloupe as the fresh fruit so we were excited to select this as our side. Imagine our disappointment when I order came with a banana instead. The online order needs to accurately reflect what will be provided. This place had a long line so we were glad we ordered ahead. The employees were very friendly and apologized about the misleading online menu. This corner perk is located in an idyllic small town area great for walking around to various shops if you have time. The food ranged from good to great. Especially liked the basil croissant. The ice coffee was good and the hot coffee okay, but only served in a paper cup. What brought down the score by 1 to 2 points was the service. It was quick, but rude. No time to consider the menu. Handed a number for the table without explanation. Turns out we needed to come back in from the patio to fetch our own coffee and maybe our meals as well? Not sure. Kept calling off the wrong name and snapped at us when we finally claimed it by the wrong name. (If you can see the number on the table, why do you need a name anyway?? That should be for carry out orders only.) Went to return the metal baskets and was ignored. Finally the help shouted where the bus station was for garbage and baskets. This was our first experience with Corner Perk but it left a lot to be desired. We got an iced vanilla latte, a cappuccino and some bacon egg and cheese biscuits. The coffees were decent but the issue was the food. For $11 per biscuit, I expected something more than cold half melted Kraft singles and overly crisped bacon. We waited 20+ minutes for the food and its temperature suggested it may have been cooked and left out before reaching us. The pineapple was also not yet ready to be cut and was tough. Overall it's a cute place in a nice area but since we visited on vacation, we will not be visiting again. read more

We saw this little corner spot on our way to Hilton Head. They had great coffee and a delicious Matcha green tea latte for me. My husband ordered their breakfast burrito, which came with 4 nice slices of fruit. Delicious burrito! They have seating indoor and outdoor. At 11:00 am one side of the building tables were in the sun for the sun lovers and the other side seating was all in the shade. Perfect for all! I definitely recommend this place for all. read more

At the corner (as the name indicated) of Promenade St and May River Rd, where driving by Bluffton on scenic US-46. Not very easy to find parking on the street, where road was narrow and there was busy traffic thru the highway (difficult for U-turn or crossing). Good part: Full of chairs inside, crowd, power under the table, free Wi-Fi, and certainly the coffee, and toasts. This is the picturesque cafe to get breakfast and a coffee. The atmosphere is exactly what you would want stopping in at a downtown, corner cafe. It's clean with charm. The food was delicious, but not too heavy. The toasted topping (cinnamon? nutmeg?) of our chai latte was a great touch that was noticed by both of us, LOVED. I want to stop here for breakfast and my caffeine fix every time I'm in the area. Also to note. GREAT music choice for added atmosphere. Who picked the Red Dirt genre? Give that person a raise.
