We came by on a hot Saturday afternoon for some dessert and to take advantage of the buy one, get one 50% off small waffle cone promotion featured on their Instagram. We came by with our family and friends to just enjoy some ice cream. Of course, we had to take our time to decide which flavors to get, how much ice cream to get, etc. So we let some groups that eventually came go ahead and order while we were still making some serious ice cream decisions. Well, when our group was finally ready to order, the poor girl working was probably over her job or over the heat, as she was the only one taking orders, scooping the ice cream, and then handing the precious goods to customers. Anyways, when it was our turn, she just had the most unpleasant look, I tried to not take it personally, but when I was asking her question about the promotion going on, she just replied with, 'what do you mean?' with an annoyed look on her face and it's not what she said, it's just the way she said it and how she looked. Again, I think she was just tired, and the heat was probably getting to her. Anyways, we were able to place the order and eventually got our ice creams. We had 2 little toddlers with us, and since they're both under 40", they were able to get their baby cones for free. They chose strawberry flavor and birthday cake. We also got some Italian ice, Graham Central Station, vanilla, coffee, and dark chocolate. The small waffle cone came with 2 scoops of ice cream. I like how they add the white plastic around your cone for sanitary reasons and to help with your ice cream dripping! And trust me, you're going to need that little plastic around your cone! I found my new ice cream spot. Amazing homemade ice cream and homemade waffle cone/bowl. It's located in the Grand spectrum marketplace on the same side of the plaza of 99 ranch, Ross and Target. Plenty of parking space. I came on a Saturday at 11am during grand opening wknd and there was no line. Staff were really friendly and patience, I was able to sample 3 flavors since there was no line. she recommended the Graham Grand central (graham ice cream based w/ graham cracker and chocolate chips chunks). SOOOOOOO GOOD! it's an unique flavor that is not overpowering, very smooth flavor. I also got the banana pudding which was delicious. It has banana pudding chunks that adds a nice touch to it. I came during the grand opening wknd that offered $4 specials for a small waffle cone/bowl (2 scoops). I got the waffle bowl so it's less messy. Best waffle cone/bowl I've had, nice crunch and flavor. It didn't get soggy and still has a nice crunch. It's so worth paying extra for it. Overall, I love the ice cream flavor and texture. It's very smooth and creamy , it didn't melt as fast since it's a creamy texture. Will def come back to try other flavors. read more

What a delightful experience! Stopped by for Bruster's grand opening weekend and got the $4 small waffle cone with Brookie and chocolate peanut butter buckeye ice cream. I personally loved the latter flavor and the Brookie used real brownies and cookies in the mix. The scoops were generous and it was a great value. Came here after having dinner at Wang Cho's. This location is a walk-up window ice cream shop with a few tables on the side of the building. The line wasn't too bad since there were at least 3 windows serving. The issue I run into sometimes at ice cream shops are the limited non-dairy options. Most places only offer sorbet (which Bruster's also have). This one had quite a few ice cream flavors made with oat milk. Do keep in mind their online menu will differ from their walk-up menu. Small cup comes with two scoops. Flavors from the Non-Dairy menu: Strawberry Banana made with oat milk (bottom) and Chocolate made with oat milk (top). read more

I wish I could speak to the quality of ice cream but I never got that far. I went up to the window with my son and nephew. We had just finished a big family lunch with a bunch of cousins that were still around the corner. I talked up this spot, I was excited to try it and so was the rest of the family. I believe I tried to order a small cup which is 2 scoops. My son and nephew are both small and 2 scoops is too much sugar for them. I asked the lady if she could split the 2 scoops into separate cups so that they could share a small. The lady looked at me like I was bothering her and said, "we don't split cups."
