I've been to other buster's locations and this one does not disappoint. A nice treat on a hot day. I had a regular in a cup with cake batter, birthday cake, and graham central station. Samantha had coffee ripple and white raspberry truffle. All were delicious. I think the graham central station may have been a little overpowering. A nice one to live close to, or maybe not so nice because then I always want to go.. it's a classic walk up ordering window and wait for your sweets, then sit and enjoy them in the outdoor seating area. So - took my 81 year old mother out for ice cream Friday night 4/26/24 and I was applauded at the employees working there- never have I been to a ice cream joint, restaurant, drive thur or even a fish fry where I heard such nasty disrespectful vulgar language as I heard coming from all but one of the workers there- I would of fired all of them in the spot- the f- word was flying around fluently- heard GD, MF- I'm just glad my granddaughters were not with me, although there were other parents and grandparents with their young children there- I do hope that the owner or manager of this Lakeland establishment ( 540A and Carter rd) sees this review- only respectful girl there was the blond haired girl who tried to get them to be quite- didn't work- I was surprised at the least- I know how our world is changing, but I hope this type of behavior is never accepted or the norm - and NO, I am know Karen, I'm just a customer that was embarrassed for your business--- we will be back. The staff is friendly and polite. There is only outdoor seating usually at picnic tables the offerings change regularly the flavors are never the same. They do have the staples but as they change your specialty flavors in and out, come by often to see what the new flavor is they offer free pup cups. read more

We went with a large group and I ordered the chocolate peanut butter ice cream with Buckeyes. I would have liked the ice cream to have a stronger flavor since it's not the cheapest and the flavors were a little dull. The best is the real ice cream and the thousand flavors. The only down fall is the wait time. Sometimes they are really understaffed and it can be irritating to wait so long. I learned you don't need 3 scoops in a waffle cone-too big, too melty, breaks up the cone before the first scoop is gone--then you're holding the other 2 scoops in your hand. Not pretty. But very good ice cream. Favorite is black cherry. Black raspberry was good. Butter brickle over butter pecan, cherry vanilla was a nice change. They do give little taste spoons to help decide. Terrible, because of covid 19, they close at 9pm now. The sign directly said 10 pm! I stood outside the window patiently for at least 15 minutes! Sign says closes at 10. Got there at ten minutes past 9 and they looked busy inside doing work. After standing at the window being looked at and ignored for at least 15 minutes the lady tells me they are closed. Change the time on your sign in the window, or don't ignore your would be customers that are waiting for you while your sign says 10pm closing time. I wouldn't have been upset if they would have told me when I first walked up that they were closed, but don't ignore your patrons like we know you have adjusted your closing time read more
