The food always seems to be burned/dried out (probably sitting on the grill too long or dried out in warmer tray) and our fries are never full regardless of the size we order. There's an obvious difference in customer service between the older generations that work there and the younger ones. I understand that some of these people are kids and learning their first job but we've had several instances in the drive through where our card is taken and food is given without either person even saying a word. We make a point to say things like "hi how are you" and "thank you have a good day" but some of these have even failed to yield a response from them. Again that's our experience with the younger ones. The older workers are always much more engaging and professional. I didn't even have Yelp prior to today, but I'm so tired of this being a repeated occurrence so I downloaded it solely to leave this review. When we want McDonalds from now on, I'm going to another store. To pay $13 each meal and have this lack of quality and quantity is just completely unacceptable. Pic of 1 fry is from 1/27/25. "Taco Bell Achieves Breakthrough in Drive-Thru Time Travel"…read more Hello Taco Hell management, Tonight I had the honor of participating in what I can only assume was a live-action endurance event disguised as a Taco Bell drive-thru experience. At around 10:30 PM, the dining room was closed despite the location allegedly being open until 2:00 AM. Naturally, this forced every living soul in the surrounding zip code into the drive-thru line, which was wrapped around the entire building like a boa constrictor made of brake lights. The truly impressive part, however, was that the line did not meaningfully move for over an hour. Not 10 minutes. Not "wow this is slow." A full hour-plus of spiritual reflection and vehicle idling. Meanwhile, inside the restaurant, employees appeared to be carefully tidying the already-closed dining room like they were preparing it for a royal visit instead of addressing the automotive refugee crisis outside. At one point I genuinely considered whether I would reach the speaker before retirement age. The best part is: I have video evidence of this majestic operational achievement. Look, I understand being understaffed and overwhelmed happens. But if the dining room closes 3.5 hours early, maybe the drive-thru should not immediately transform into a post-apocalyptic waiting simulator. I mostly just want someone to know how absurd this experience was, because honestly it crossed the line from frustrating into performance art. Thank you for your time, and please check on whoever is currently still trapped in that drive-thru line. P.S; I only visit Taco Bell when I'm stoned and this experience blew my high. Yummy, soft and sweet biscuits with vanilla icing, it used to be the perfect treat once in awhile. Sadly they had discontinued the biscuits a few years ago which was so disappointing- but recently they had brought them back! This Hardee's I stopped by here and there to again enjoy the biscuits, which they'd make fresh and it was a great experience overall for a fast food spot. But now they've again stopped selling the biscuits so I hope they'll one day again bring them back.
