Variety of Fun & Classic Flavors to choose from. Size was perfect for me. I had the peach dream & it wasn't too sweet. Not too heavy for a dessert.

Pull into the parking lot, with about a half dozen spots we were able to grab one and get in line for a frozen custard sundae. Only one family in line before us and with the calories listed I changed my mind at least four times and we decided to share! If you want to sell more custard, remove the calories! We are already there... I don't think anyone is counting calories??? Ok, we were shamed into them ;) Anyway, we had the Andy's Ozark Turtle Sundae Andy's frozen custard covered with hot fudge, crème caramel, roasted pecans, and topped with a cherry.it was sinful, delicious and the gal that served it was adorable. So, go when you are ready for sweet, goooeeey, chocolate, caramel, well, just yummy ;)

Only one word! YUMMY! We had a sweet tooth and decided to give Andy's Frozen Custard a try. I'm so glad we did. The choices were numerous. The frozen custard totally hit the spot and will definitely go back. I even downloaded there app and have already earned a free small 1 topping concrete!

Andy's Frozen Custard is a great place for a sweet treat in Lakeland. My wife and I visited here Saturday night with friends. This place was busy! Especially the drive-thru line. We parked and walked up to order at the window. There was a few people around and we looked over the menu. They have a lot of options. Concretes, malts, cones, splits and sundaes. Everything is prepared with the fresh, made in-house custard. They have plenty of specialty flavors as well as the option to make your own delectable delight. My wife and I shared a concrete. I chose the Butter Pecan. It was sweet, soft serve custard in a cup, blended with butter scotch and fresh roasted pecans. It was really good and hit the spot for dessert. I also learned the difference between custard and ice cream. Custard must contain a small amount of pasteurized egg yolk. It's what gives it the smooth and creamy texture. We took a seat outside and ate our treats. The drive-thru line never disappeared and at one point, it was out of the parking lot. A lot of people like Andy's and I now I know why. Andy's is a national chain but I didn't get that vibe visiting here. This looks like an old school ice cream place. It has a mom and pop feel. The neon lights and garage door walls gave it a classic almost 50s parlor style. I'd love to come back here and try the other tasty custard options they have to offer!

Yum yum yum. Thick, creamy and delicious. I did the drive thru and luckily there were only 4 cars ahead of me, which went pretty quickly. The menu had variety of toppings and different sizes. Will definitely go back to try different options.

Ice cream isn't my first dessert choice, but when I want or crave it I usually think of Andy's automatically. Andy's just does it different in the best way. Their ice cream (or excuse me, custard) is thick, smooth and so rich. They have a lot of options of add-ins, and you can make it into a malt which is the selling point for me. I haven't tried a bad thing there yet. And something about that old school garage with the neon lights lit up at night makes the experience even more fun. Beware that if you go anytime in the evening the drive thru line may be precisely ridiculous- it is not uncommon for the line to wrap around the building and pile up onto the busy Florida Avenue road. In fact, it's quite a normal occurrence which is insane. Aaaand now I'm craving ice cream, can you guess from where?

Heard about this butter pecan concrete that we had to try. We arrived to the frozen custard place and the line was out the door for the drive-through. So we parked and went inside. The cashier was also making some of the treats, so it made the line very long. We finally got to the front and got our ice cream. It was yummy, but it melted very quickly. I think it probably melted when they mixed it up. They have delicious fresh and warm chocolate chip cookies as well. We took pieces of it and dumped it in the ice cream and ate it. It was really yummy. If you are in the area, you definitely need to try this. It seems that their ingredients are nice and pure. It is also very popular in the area and it stayed busy the whole entire time that we were there, even when we were sitting eating. Will definitely try to come back again when I am in the area and try something different!

We've been excited about Andy's opening up since we saw the signs appear on the building lot. It was a long wait, but we were happy that they finally opened, even with the pandemic. They have a drive-thru and a walk-up, but unfortunately no tables right now but there are outside benches under an overhang where you can sit when the weather is nice. That's what we did this weekend. It was sunny and warm, with a lovely breeze, perfect to sit outside and enjoy some freshly made custard. Andy's says they make it fresh every hour and it sure tasted fresh to me. All their ads promoted their "concretes" which are custard desserts mixed with candy, so I had the "BootDaddy" (made with Oreos) and my husband had the "Butter Pecan" (made with pecans and caramel). We ordered mediums but should have ordered smalls. (Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs, but we persevered and ate it all. LOL) The workers inside were nice and efficient. These were amazing. So creamy, so delicious, the ratio of goodies to custard was perfect. I'm still confused why they are called concretes, maybe the color? Definitely not the texture, they were so cool and soft. So good. Wow, I'm drooling, sorry. As you can see from the menu, they have other things, like sundaes, splits, malts, cones, and plenty of ways to bring them to your home freezer. Very tempting...

I like how they have a real person outside to take orders. Been here three times now. First order didn't have a lot of flavor but maybe that was just my taste at the time. I don't remember what I ordered specifically. My second time there the order was the James brownie jackhammer which was very good. This time on June 2nd I went back and wanted to get another James brownie but they didn't put a brownie in it so that was disappointing since that's a big part of it. Also ordered another custard and they messed up that order which was even more annoying. Overall, the custard is great, they just need to get the orders right.

Located in an old firehouse, Andy's has some great combinations to offer. They also have seasonal flavors. Love the decoration and the custard is also great! Perfect spot to take care of a sweet tooth on a hot Summer night.

kids ice cream 4 oz small with frozen strawbs on top $4.50
    Deke M.

No such thing asa $2 vanilla in a cup, 3 years later. We got a kids' custard with strawberries on top for $4.50 at the suggestion of the clerk, for wanting a small splurge. It was about 4 oz and 200 calories before the fruit. It went by quickly but hit the spot. We found menu confusing, appreciated calories listed, disappointed they don't do it for toppings tho. We were the only one there at 4 in the afternoon. Wonder if prices or Mom & Pops are keeping business low.

Should have thought this out a little better. Line is blocking South Florida.

Great frozen custard! I also like the setting - a little open air but under a roof in case of rain.

We placed our order, as you can see all of them were beyond disappointing in portions. The orange creamsicle barely had vanilla soft serve.... But those are all great things for a business on opening weekend! We were really happy to see a crowd supporting a new shop! We went again yesterday, and while the experience was a bit different than the first time (zero crowd, no wait, our choice of seating) , it was still just as awesome. These treats are super tasty and they are piled high! We have, however, learned that the small size works best for each of us because these things are FULL. Yesterday's choices were the PB&J the Orange Mango Tango, and a simple chocolate vanilla swirl soft serve. Altogether, it was somewhere between $15-20. It's a nice change of pace from regular ice cream, and they have a ton of different flavors. Definitely a fun little spot!
