I've always had good experiences with this Coldstone- the workers are always friendly and do a good job. Unfortunately that's just not the case at some locations. When it comes to ice cream, Coldstone is one of my favorites to go out somewhere and enjoy. I love the way they mix in the ingredients by hand, it just always tastes so yummy. The only bad thing here is that since this is part of the outdoor mall Lakeside Village, and right next to the movie theater, it gets quite busy. So the line moved pretty slow when it's busy. But nonetheless I still love Coldstone. read more

I was traveling for work and was going to see a late movie at the theater next-door and decided I wanted a scoop of ice cream while I waited. Cold Stone closed at 10 PM. I went in at 9:58. The team was courteous. I asked for a small half banana half coffee realizing it was basically closing time. I did not ask for any mix. Ends in the team seemed appreciative. No one seemed annoyed that it was close to closing. No service worker likes to serve somebody right before close and I feel like most customers hate going into places right before close as well as long as everyone's curious things end up going great. I had a mortifyingly poor experience with Coldstone, an ice cream store that is not convenient to parking (long walk required) so a rare venture. I was not greeted when I entered, despite two active clerks in the outer area and one customer being served. I waited in line for what seemed like forever, "studied" the list of options on a promo poster, waited some more. I finally decided to leave, without any acknowledgement and more than 20 minutes inside. They lost an ice cream cake order, a treat while I was there, and any of my future business. One of the best ice-cream joints I've ever been in to. Me, my 3 grandsons, my son and his girlfriend came here for dessert after eating at the nearby Burger21. Many ice cream flavors to choose from. All of which seem appetizing. Waiters/servers were average, doing their job efficiently. Would certainly recommend!!! read more

4/19/2024 at 6:34PM While visiting Cold Stone Creamery at Lakeside Village. My 5 year old son was walking out the door and the door hit his arm causing him to drop the ice cream cup. I asked the cashier if they would replace it, after talking to his manager he said NOPE we can't give you another one. Very disappointing experience my son started crying and we walked out. Don't recommend it to anyone. While I was writing this review the entire staff was making fun of an older gentleman that was a foreigner and was trying to read the menu from outside the establishment. Staff is young, immature and unprofessional. Not their fault but definitely lack of training and management. read more

So, I first tried this place when I was younger at six flags. I loved it but was disappointed they had no nearby locations. When I lived in Lakeland for a year and found out they had a Cold Stone I was ecstatic! I dragged my wife here to try it and she fell in love with it too! When we first come in we get a warm welcome and are instantly overwhelmed with options, which is great right? I am a huge peanut butter fan so needless to say I went with their peanut butter option they had listed on the menu board and made it my own. I got sweet cake batter ice cream with peanut butter and Reese cups. My wife got vanilla with strawberries, coconut shavings and brownie pieces. You can pretty much get whatever kind of ice cream you want with any toppings you please. They lay the ice cream you choose on a flat board and put the toppings on it. Then they mix it and toss it into your size cup of choice or cone. Every time I went here I got my signature mix. Yes the prices are a little steep but you get what you pay for and my ice cream was worth every penny spent! Oh and when you leave a dollar tip they sing. Fun staff! read more

Poor customer service. I ordered ice cream cupcakes for a friend that had surgery through Doordash and the order was completely wrong and a lot less than what I paid for. When I called the store to inquire about the error, an employee named Brenden finally understood that it was his error after repeated explaining and told me there really wasn't much I could do and that I could " try" to go through Doordash but " it would take a long time" and they "should" be able to fix it since it was their error. He then proceeded to tell me that I could come to the store and pick up the correct order IF I WENT TO MY SICK FRIEND'S HOUSE AND PICKED UP THE WRONG ICE CREAM DELIVERY. When I asked if he was serious, he confirmed that if I traveled to the house where it was delivered and retrieved the half eaten ice cream, likely melted by the time I arrived in the storm that evening, that he could give me what I ordered. You can't make this stuff up. This was his only solution. Astounding. I've emailed Cold Stone with the information and date of my visit and I have yet to hear anything in over a week. If I treated customers at my job with the same lack of urgency, I feel certain I would be fired and deservedly so. Very disappointing. read more

Coldstone Creamery has it cornered for delicious desserts. This one is located right beside the Cobb Theater and you can take in your ice cream to the movies, so that's a win-win. Like most dessert places, its overpriced as per usual, but you sort of expect that. If you can dream it up, they'll make it. It's fun watching them work the creation on the hot stone and the ice cream is superb. You can't make a mistake at Coldstone. Glad this one is here. 4 stars due to the price. read more

This place is always poorly staffed, it's a chain so if you e he coldstone before you know the deal. Choose your flavors add ins and go but this place operates at a snails pace. Always a line to the door and no sense of urgency from the staff. If you look in the pic the line is (typical) to the door and the staff consists of 3 people on a Sunday and one person for some reason is just making waffle bowls and cones (which no one is ordering and there are plenty of). Just bad management and scheduling I guess. Ice cream is consistent but better options without the wait I. The town center including the cupcake place that sells ice cream and edible cookie dough. read more

My girlfriend and I decided to go to get some ice cream so we chose cold stone the store in Lakeside Village i understand with COVID going on they can only let 5 people at a time so this group of 5 in front of us let us go ahead because there where three people inside and the two of us would make five. We go in and orders 3 shakes and it took 15 minutes just for our order and in that time a worker walked outside to see who was in line and after we paid and where walking outside the store was closed. But if they where letting full capacity inside those people would have been served. They walked in after waiting 30+ minutes and where told by an employee "you guys need to hurry up because we are closed and we don't even have to serve you" THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS I will not be back!! Would not recommend to anyone!! read more

Fantastic tasty ice cream and a fantastic location. It was in the perfect spot to kill some time before my movie started with an ice cream to share with the beau. The taste is always excellent and I love how they prepare everything, mixing things in exactly how you want it rather than pre-made ice cream. You get exactly what you want and you love it. The only problem would be the expensive price tag, but trust me, you get what you pay for, in the god way. You'll leave satisfied. read more

Great place to go for ice cream! I prefer to get a chocolate with Oreos. They have a pretty good variety of flavors and topping although sizes are not very diverse. Prices are a little steep to me but not extremely bad. The area around is usually quiet (at least around 4:00 to 5:30) they're close to game stop and Cobb, so great place to go when looking to go to more then one place. The only issue I really have is the location, sometimes its hard to find parking and there is a decent amount of traffic going through and around the plaza. I recommend checking it out! read more
