I have to admit though, despite being located next to Stan's Pizza (Go Stan's!) I didn't notice this little gem until the past recent months. Sorry, my bad! I yelped/googled/social media'd this place because: 1) I'm all about reviews 2) I'm all about cleanliness. 2 Polished succeeded in both categories. I was going away for the weekend and needed a quick wax. A last minute decision which luckily ended up at 2 Polished. I called and was greeted over the phone with a friendly voice and luckily was able to land an appointment within 30 minutes time. YES! Parking was a breeze because it's all street parking outfront, and upon entering I was pleasantly surprised but how charming it is inside. It's a bit smaller than your average salon/spa but I can appreciate the coziness of it and how everything looked CLEAN and well taken care for. There are 2 pedi stations on your right with stainless steel basins (used fresh every time, double yes), a mani station on your left and a loungey chair in the back which I assume are for lash appointments. Behind the mani station there is a small room for waxes and the like. I was greeted by the receptionist and was told Angie was just preparing for my appointment and that she'd be out in a second. I really had no idea who Angie was, but turns out she is the heart and soul of 2 Polished. The wax itself was pleasant (as pleasant as a wax can be) and I loved that she took her time. I've gotten so many waxes in my lifetime and you won't believe how lazy people can get. Angie used gloves, disposable wooden waxing applicators, fresh bed paper, etc etc. Just basically anything you might be worried about when it came to hygiene...she took care of it. And the cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend 2 Polished and can't wait for my next service. From looking at their instagram, I'd probably try getting my lashes done next time too.

Unfortunately she only works select days at this location. That being said, every other person I have had has led to a variety of negative experiences; from completely ruining the shape of my eyebrows and then trying to convince me I was wrong about not liking them, cutting up my eyebrows badly through threading, and even giving me unsolicited advice on how to deal with my breakouts, the bad has definitely outweighed the good Especially for the price tag (I think around $18 for eyebrow threading), the level of service is not on par therefore I'm much less inclined to come back.

It hurt more than Threading ever has before and I didn't know why until the next day when I saw that the stylist had cut me!! She left four places with cuts on them that stung for days and left scabs. Small scabs, but still. She also had drawn the shape on them but didn't review it with me before she started. I should've spoken up but I didn't. I think that the majority of the problem was that the stylist was chatting the entire time with someone else that worked there. She was not paying enough attention to me and hurt me. I contacted the manager who wanted me to return and was only willing to give me that one session on the house. I told her that that wasn't good enough for me and that I wanted my package refunded because I didn't feel comfortable going back. I never heard back after that phone call or the email I sent the company after the fact. In short, I would say proceed with caution. Make sure the person is paying attention and that they show you their markings before they start Threading. I did have one great treatment there but with the horrible customer service and terrible experience being cut in multiple places, I won't be going back. They should have handled this better. I am extremely disappointed.

I have pretty thick, long hair and I paid $90 for a crown of foils. What I appreciated was the quiet and relaxing atmosphere. I didn't feel at all pressured to chat (as is the norm in most salons). I got to just sit and relax:) Mila did my hair and I would defiantly recommend her! Her blow dryer skills are unsurpassed! I do wish she had placed a few more foils on the sides (only 3 were put on each side), but I assume that's what was included for the price I paid and I could have asked for more at an additional charge. Either way I'm very pleased and will definitely return.
