If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I recently moved out of state and finally succumbed to the fact I was never going to find another Bryan Road Animal Hospital. Little Dr. Wright, Big Dr. Wright (as I call them), and Dr. Clapper are not only insightful, they truly care about your pet's well being. From Chloe's pallet, snares, and vulvoplasty surgeries, Chao and Mya's routine exams, to putting my beloved Cy down this clinic has always given 150%. I can't thank them enough especially Dr. Clapper They are the golden standard in veterinary care and practice. My cat was suffering with kidney failure and his life was coming to an end. My normal vet was closed and luckily Bryan road was able to fit me in to their schedule. With that being said, they treated me with the up most respect. They were so thoughtful and spoke to me with the kindest voice. I can't recommend them enough. This Vets office is conveniently located near Mexico and Bryan Road. They are so very patient with the animals that come through - my dog Mae has come for the past 5 months and we have really appreciated our experience. The veterinarian office can always be a stressful experience but the office staff do the most to make each animal as comfortable as possible with plenty of treats (Cheese Wiz, Bones). They talk very sweet and feed them treats while they covertly inspect and treat! read more

Bryan Road Animal Hospital has the best staff and doctors. I've been taking my large anxious fearful rescue dog to Bryan Road for around 6 years. We tried multiple veterinarians in the area, actually most of Missouri, due to our dog having many health concerns. The best thing about the entire staff is they all listen and have a great understanding of our dog being fearful. During every visit, they clear the lobby for us. The staff has peanut butter ready when they walk into the room. The peanut butter helps my dog relax. My dog is fearful of hands, and the staff respects and tells us where they are going to touch him so we can hold him accordingly. I cannot explain how important it is that every member of their team respects our wishes. Every other vet we have gone to we told them he is scared of hands and the first thing they did was put their hand in his face, and our dog immediately reacts. This has never happened at Bryan Road. We go to the vet once a month for allergy treatments, and our dog gets excited to see the "peanut butter ladies". Our dog requires a prescription diet, and they have their own online pharmacy. We set up auto deliveries and it is the same price or less as Chewy with saving discounts, plus you are supporting your local businesses. read more

Veterinarians not very knowledgeable and you have to pay for visit when appointment is made and for each time there is a charge before they go any further with treatments. It takes alo g time to get through on the phone, no answer a lot of the time. read more

Very pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff and Veterinarian. I like their idea of calling the receptionist before bringing my dog inside. This eliminates confrontation with other dogs. The lobby is very clean and open. Just a very do-able way to stay organized, safe and happy. read more

Bryan Road Animal Hospital used to be amazing and cared so much about your pet. Not anymore. They got a new building built and the caring went out the door. It is all about the money now. They will run your bill up if you let them. They also have rude and unorganized people working for them. I called this morning about my dogs heartworm medicine and this supposed "office manager" laughed at me and was SO rude! I have never been treated so rudely by the staff as I was this morning. They say they never receive emails and phone calls when they do. They always change their answers because they do not know the real answer. Proved my point!!!! They do not care about your pet!!! Just received a call asking me to find another vet. Their staffs mistake and I have to find another vet. The staff makes a business and when you have a bad staff your business will suffer. If you are smart you will stay away from this place! read more

We've been going here for our 2 year old cockapoo since we got him. They are very patient and helpful. Dr Clapper is very patient answering questions. They are also very helpful over the phone when you call with any concerns or questions. I would recommend the hospital for your pets. read more

We love Bryan Road! After we moved to town we tried a few vets before we found them-they are by far the best in the area. The doctors are all amazing, but the vet techs really make it top notch! They are all so kind, compassionate, and wonderful to the animals AND people. Mary has been so good to us! We also see Dr Clapper and Dr Loder. Both are incredible--knowledgeable and kind. I gave a sterling review in 2017 of Bryan Rd Animal Hospital. Since then, several other vets have been added, and when I needed to pay a bill in installments (even though I've been a client of Dr. Wright's for 15+ years, and before Dr Vircelli even graduated vet school, I was turned down (it would have been only a $75. bill). Recently, I had an emergency with one of my other dogs and was told, to be able to "fit me in" I'd need to pay an emergency fee of $75., in addition to the regular office visit fee, even though it was during regular business hours. (The cost for the actual Veterinary Emergency clinic in St Louis is $ 75. office fee.) With that kind of attitude, I elected to take my dog to the regular emergency clinic, and will not be using Bryan Rd Animal Hospital again. They have become more interested in the money than the welfare of the pets, and I have other vets I can trust and that trust me, and that I know money isn't the top priority. read more

Had a wonderful 1st visit last week! Everyone I met was so nice & accommodating. My doggie (Dexter) gets pretty anxious in unfamiliar places, especially at the vet! He's 6 years old and it was the calmest I've ever seen him at the vet. The doctor and vet tech were great, they joined him on the ground; while comforting him with treats and belly rubs before even beginning. They both took their time to thoroughly listen to the issues he was having and provided great care for a treatment, he's already feeling better. Couldn't be happier! We were beyond impressed by our care at Bryan Road Animal Hospital. We had to put our daughters guinea pig down and our experience was the best it could possibly be. The staff is so warm and genuine. We met two of the doctors there at two different times and they were so wonderful and caring. We felt so cared for in such a hard time. We felt our Guinea was in the best hands and treated with such kindness. To top it off, we received a personally written card from the staff and vet doctors. That blew me away! We will never go anywhere else with our future pets! read more

I've been to other vets in the area, but none compare to Bryan Road! Our pets love Dr. Amberlee Wright and Dr. Clapper. They are always so nice to explain everything and they take their time with you, I never feel rushed or that my questions are unimportant. They also have the best staff. read more

This Vet is above all the rest! I have had 3 different types of animals seen there, not only do they cater to each individual animal but, they go above and beyond any care I have ever received and that says a lot! My 11 year old Boston Terrier passed away before I met the folks at Bryan Road and let me tell you, I had monthly blood work and medicine for her since she was 2, and NEVER have I received anything close to what they provide! My pups received scented calming bandanas, my Macaw had soft bird noises in his room, my kitten had every treat under the sun (so did the pups, lol) and man was he chowing down with his nom nom sounds. Bryan Road has gone above and beyond anything I could have hoped for, they truly are what EVERY veterinary hospital standards should be! Thank you guys, you're the best! read more

Everyone at Bryan Road Animal Hospital is great! From over the phone, to in person. Finding a vet that meets my expectations is hard, but finding a vet that meets my dogs approval is even harder. After taking my parakeet to have her nails trimmed, the owner of my nearest bird store confirmed my fear that she was either egg bound or had a tumor. 3 weeks before I had taken this same bird to see a vet at Bryan Road and was told she most likely had liver disease - she was older & her beak had began to grow too long. So as I left the bird store I called the vet and told them I needed to come in now to have them euthanize her so she would not suffer. The receptionist said their schedule was full & I could not come in. I practically begged her explaining the bird was straining like she was trying to lay an egg & I didn't want her to suffer. I told her I was willing to wait as long as necessary - after all how long would it really take to put a 3 oz bird to sleep?? She offered me an appointment 3 days later. I again explained that I worked the rest of the week, was within 10 minutes of the office but she didn't care. Her parting words "call us and let us know how she does". So my precious girl suffered for 2 days before she died. It's not like I was a new patient or I was asking for free service. I will NEVER go there again and have asked my dog vet to not refer anyone else to them. I will most certainly be finding a more empathetic vet for my other birds. read more
