My husband and I started our meal with a Mary Pickford cocktail (Barcardi, pineapple juice, maraschino liqueur, and cherry), Cobb Salad (mixed greens, pickled red onions, pancetta, gorgonzola, cherry tomatoes, hard-boiled egg, and ranch dressing), and Insalata (mixed greens, parmesan, pickled red onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, dried cranberries, sautéed mushrooms, and house vinaigrette). I liked the cocktail, and the salads were a large size, contained very fresh ingredients, and tasted very good. Our main courses were Blackened Salmon (Cajun-seasoned salmon with potatoes, asparagus, tomatoes, and herbs) and Short Rib Gnocchi (short rib, pancetta, garlic cream sauce, and parmesan). I liked my salmon and vegetables, but my husband felt unhappy about the oil sitting on top of his gnocchi. The waitress, however, noticed that he ate little, and she made things right.
