Diamond in the rough! I was looking for a place to eat and use the restroom and saw this on Yelp…read more We didn't realize you could go in because it looked like drive through only, which was fine. We got in line and while it took a long time (so if you are in a hurry don't stop during lunchtime!) the food was delicious!! The burger was very fresh and juicy and the fries tasted like they were fries in something that would cook pastries! Very flavorful! So glad we took a chance on this place! Will definitely stop again on our journeys to Tallahassee (I only wish we had discovered it years ago!)

Truthfully, there is not too much to this place. The restaurant is primarily drive-thru, having two lanes on each side of the building. There is also a walk-up window at the front that you can order at as well. They have a breakfast menu that is served until 11AM, and then their regular lunch and dinner menu available for the rest of the day following. On a typical visit, I find myself stopping here for breakfast. There are several options, but my absolute favorite is the Sausage, Egg and Cheese with Double Meat. One thing to note is that their breakfast sandwiches come on hamburger buns, instead of something like a bagel or a biscuit. It makes them unique, and truthfully one of my favorite breakfast sandwiches of all time. Their fountain drinks are the best, as I can never visit without getting a nice, crispy Diet Coke to sip on. Also, I have had their milkshakes, and they are a delight! I would recommend mixing the Oreo and the Peanut Butter - yum! Personally, I feel this place has an excellent value for the price. For two people to eat breakfast and get drinks, we usually spend around $16 dollars. We typically switch up exactly what we get, so it's always different, but I always think that it is a great value no matter what. Recently, they have implemented a 3.5% fee for using a credit card, so I would recommend paying in cash to avoid the fee if possible. The staff here is always friendly and hospitable. It seems like they retain a lot of staff and they usually work the same shifts, so they get to recognizing their customers and knowing them. Even with operating a drive-thru and wanting to likely get customers through, they still take the time to converse and provide a great experience. The owner is very friendly, and you can tell he takes great pride in both the establishment and the customer experience. I am not local to the Chiefland area, but I look forward to eating at Ralph's each time I come to town. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a quick bite to eat, with excellent customer service, and all for a great value.

Parking is a challenge, but we parked elsewhere and walked over there. The smell of the delicious burgers had me drooling! Got the double patty with cheese Goldie burger and onion rings and my husband got the same with loaded tater tots. Sprite and water in a bottle for drinks...and we were all set. Our order came out pretty quickly and we enjoyed watching the kids run around excitedly and play the various games, whether it was skee ball, pinball, driving courses, riding the motorized animals...kids enjoy the most basic things to the maximum! Great idea for families! Nice park frontage, walking paths, etc. I'm going to have to tell my daughter in law to bring the kids here next time. They'd LOVE IT! The Goldie Burger was fantastic. They do have vegan options as well, so don't fret! Tots, fries and onion rings are excellent sides for your sandwich. The fella at the front counter was beyond pleasant, helpful, friendly and very attentive to every patron. Even went so far as to give extra free tokens to one family with 3 little ones since they spent so much there on their meals. I gave out free tokens to a lithe younger girl who was wearing what used to be my favorite sneakers growing up...Converse All-Stars! She had her mouth hanging open for a few minutes while mom said thank you for her...hey, old people don't place much arcade games I told them.... So enjoy! Great family spot with the kids to run off that excess energy and have fun. We enjoyed the food and the scenery.

I have only had this place once when I first moved back. Per the pictures on Yelp, some menu items have increased, which is expected. I ordered a single cheeseburger, crinkle cut fries, and a side of the Goldie's sauce. The total came out to $13.75. I waited for about 5 - 8 minutes for the food. I did end up eating in the park. The burger is a thin smashburger and pretty huge. It had lettuce, red onion, pickles, and Goldie's sauce. The burger was good and the sauce is a tangy mustard relish type of sauce. I really liked the bun, it's like an everything seasoning bun. It was fresh and toasty. As for the crinkle cut fries, I really like the seasoning. Each fry was coated very well, but they were not cooked to my liking. While they were hot and fresh, the fries were still soft as if they needed to cooked a bit longer. Also I believe that for dipping the Cajun mayo would've a better dipping option over the Goldie's sauce just because the seasoning on the fries. Overall, it was pretty good lunch for a nice day in the park.
