Called 25 minutes before they closed and was told I could have an oil change if I arrived in 5-10 minutes. I arrived 7 minutes later and was told they could not do the oil change because they were shutting down. The associates were extremely rude and unhelpful. read more

Was told you don't need a appointment. I get there waiting 15 mins before opening . I walk in and was told the guy behind me has appointment at 8 and would be 45 to hour before he could get to me. I said when I came up there wed if I could get a appointment. guy said no appointments. I will never go back there again!!! read more

The manager at B's is truly awesome. My father in law had a flat tire and was stuck on side of the road. I called B's for him and they advised me they were closing at 12:00 since it was Saturday. I told them I couldn't make it before 12:00 and they advised they would wait on me. We were able to get the tire plugged on the side of the road. I called back after 12:00 and the manager answered the phone and I advised him we got it fixed. Great group of guys at B's. Keep up the good work.... read more

I've used this shop once or twice a year since 2012, was always fair on price(s). It is 3/3/2022, and I made my yearly trip to get a set of tires mounted and balanced, was told it would be $120, I was flabbergasted and advised that it was more than double last times, I was shrugged and told that "they have to keep up with everybody elses prices. Went to the nationwide retailer that I tried to avoids to give a local business income, and W@#M@# charged $50 for all 4 mounted and balanced with lifetime rotation.Something has happened to this place.....beware!!!@ stars because they used to be a great small business. read more

I had a kid at B's replace my flat tire with a used one for $35, which I thought was great on my limited budget, and went on my way only to have it go flat on me within 2 hours miles from their shop in the middle of a job, so having to drive back to them on the rim cost me money. The tire was the only one they had, so they offered a new one for almost 3x the amount. Having a retail background, I expected at least a small discount on the new tire for my inconvenience at being sold such a faulty tire that it didn't even last a day, but was sternly condescended to about how expecting any quality or even a 30 day warranty was unreasonable and that I could either take the new tire with $35 dollars off (just a refund on the bad used tire) or I could go somewhere else. Way to stand behind your service, so I was forced to take the $95 new tire. It is what it is. So $95 x 9% sales tax is $103.55 and then minus the $35 for the faulty tire comes to $68.55. Yet, when I got the invoice, it was $74.72. What? That's because I was charged sales tax AGAIN. When my car was finished, I brought this up with one of the higher ups to get it fixed, but was told to take my invoice and get my car the hell out of their shop. I've never been treated so badly by an establishment. There was a time years ago when they were great, but the last few years they have been awful, so do yourself a favor and stay away. There are plenty of better options in the area. read more

They charged me over a $100 to replace a headlight. I thought that was awfully high, so I went down to Oliver tire the next time I had a headlight out. Oliver charged me less than $20. I was so hurt that Express Lube ripped me off. I have been a customer for a long time and knew everyone there by name. The waiting room is a show place. Id give less than one star if I could. Went to get an alignment done, was qouted $49 for a basic 4 wheel alignment to adjust toe. I showed up at 8 am to get it done. I was told that that was the price but since I had replaced all the suspension up front and a lot in the rear, the price would be $79. I again told them that toe was the only thing that could be adjusted on this particular model car. He then said ok, then it would be the lower price. They got it on the rack and the owner said it would be the higher price. He was rude and acted like a jerk. He obviously has little knowledge of this brand car(Chevy Metro) and wanted to make me pay twice as much for something so simple to do. He ranted on about he couldnt do it because tge camber and caster would have to be adjusted. He must have shirt term memory loss since I had just told him caster and camber could not be adjusted on this car. All that was required was to loosen two nuts in front on the tie rod ends and 4 lock nuts on the rear toe bars. $49 is too much for how simple it is but it needed to be done. 90% of the parts replaced were stock parts. Only aftermarket parts are the springs and adjustable toe bars in the rear. Definately do not bother with them, his employees are very nice but he more than makes up for their niceness, lol. I will never try them again and will definately tell others to stay away also. Ended up going to Wholesale Tires in Scottsboro where they welcome my business. I will probably pay more than $49 but its worth it to not deal with the owner of B's Express Lube. The shop and waiting room are very nice, the t bucket in the shop is nice also. Too bad the owner/manager had to be a stubborn old grouch. read more
