I first went to Dedra for treatment in September of 2017 to help even the texture and complexion of my skin. She assessed my skin and deduced that I would see improvements in three months with regular treatments. She also worked with me to develop a specialized skin regimen. She told me which products to stop using and which ones to incorporate in my routine. Though Dedra sells PCA and Dermalogica products in her office, she never pushed any of them on me. She recommended products that I could pick up fro Target and the grocery store that were just as effective. When I felt I needed products with concentrated ingredients she advised on which products from her Dermalogica and PCA inventory would work best for my skin. Most people would try to sell you as many products as possible. Dedra informed me of all the ingredients in the products she selected for me and let me know how they interacted with each other. By December 2018, my skin drastically improved thanks to my home regimen and monthly treatments. I continue to see Dedra each month to maintain my progress and improve other areas. Dedra uses the latest and verified skin care treatments. Her workspace and equipment is meticulously cleaned and sanitized. I spend at least five minutes with Dedra reviewing my skin progress. If she believes I am ready for an advanced treatment she will advise me on how to prepare (not to shave, avoid certain creams and lotions, avoid excessive sunlight) for the whatever product or instrument she will use. I have no complaints about the facial itself. The only reason I give the experience 4 (instead of 5) stars is because I remember a few things that were less than ideal. First, there is not clear communication about the exact location of the salon within the building, so that leads to unnecessary confusion after you arrive. Also, if I recall correctly, Regina was running a bit behind on the day I went, so I recall having to sit in a small waiting area while waiting for my appointment to finally start. There was one other couple there, and they were watching some kind of raunchy video on speaker. So it was not a relaxing or edifying experience before the facial began. Thankfully, the energy was very different inside Regina's salon once my appointment actually got started. In sum, I only visited once. But I had a good experience overall. Last Christmas, I asked my husband for a spa membership, and he gifted me with a year-long membership that included a monthly 90-minute massage (highly recommend!). During my facial, I asked the esthetician, Angela (also wonderful), who she had received massages from. Sebene was on her list. While Angela assured me that all the providers are great and I couldn't go wrong with anyone, I decided to start with Sebene. And I've never looked back. Sebene is appropriately working at a spa with the word Heaven in the name!! Her skills are truly extraordinary. She is a miracle worker! I had bilateral total hip replacement in 2025, and I've been recovering slowly since February of 2025. Often, when I go to my appointments, my body is out of alignment and in some degree of pain. When I leave, I feel like I've left a transformative experience. While Sebene offers traditional massages, I've opted for a treatment focused on realignment and mobility. I'm 51 years old and have had massages throughout my adult life. I can honestly say, I have NEVER experienced massage therapy like this! Sebene is truly gifted! The only thing that tops her hands blessed by God is her calm, warm, intuitive demeanor. She walks in and you want to hug her. You feel safe and secure. And while I give her my concerns, being mindful that I only have 90 minutes, some weeks feel like my entire body is aching. The last two visits (actually 3) have been less than pleasant. The nail technician does a good job, but the polishing could use some work, the sides of the nail are often missed as the painting is a straight line. The front desk and lack of punctuality with appointments is what is upsetting. An appointment before Christmas was not honored, in fact the technician was over 20 minutes late and nobody said anything, no acknowledgement that the technician was running behind or offer of water etc. I walked out. The woman who works and the desk chased me down and begged me to return. I had another commitment directly after so I said I would come back another day. That evening another person from the salon called me to apologize and offered a discount when I returned. The discount wasn't honored. Again during my last appointment the tech was late (15 minutes) and this was after an older gentlemen working the front desk called to ask me if I would be on time to appointment. Lastly, their prices are not posted and I feel they are quite expensive ($55 for an acrylic fill with gel polish). They charge an extra 4% if you use a credit card to pay. Pack your patience and make sure you know what you're being charged for before visiting this location.

The other tech said yes. The person working on me started to speak another language. After further inspection, all of my toes have the same bleed. Rather than redo them all I opted not to have them all done. Is it really so hard to polish toes and not file off your cuticle beds to correct the mistake?
