*Updating my post because I felt like I was robbed!! & after following up with a few neighboring shops and a couple techs that I could've gotten the same quality work from- I definitely was...smh I get it- you set your prices & your people will support you...blah blah blah...but for what I got- I was well over charged. Definitely no $100 job... I had a nail emergency this morning and didn't feel like driving to Va so I walked over and surprisingly they weren't too busy. Took my chances with walking in and Lisa did an amazing job on my nails today. And she was fast. This shop is a little pricey compared to others but I guess you're paying for the snacks and drinks they offer, so make sure you stock up and enjoy!! Praying today's fill last longer than 4 days... I've been coming to Inspire Nail Bar for about two months and chose Alex based on the excellent Google reviews. His work is very good, which is why I continued booking with him. Unfortunately, the customer service has consistently fallen short. On multiple visits, he didn't greet me when I arrived and was curt throughout my appointment. During one visit, he commented on my nails and asked, "Do you wash your hands?" I found that remark unnecessary and disrespectful. Most recently, he again didn't acknowledge me or say hello. I don't expect anyone to be overly friendly, but I do expect basic professionalism and courtesy. No customer should leave feeling like their business isn't appreciated. The quality of the work is important, but so is how clients are treated. I hope management addresses this because I can't justify continuing to spend my money where I don't feel respected. read more

I was recommended by an online referral to try Ruby for great pedicure service. I must say this has got to be the best recommendation I've received in awhile. Ruby performed the pedicure exactly as it should be. I have zero complaints about my service. She was very thorough and gentle at the same time. I've been doing a home pedicures a for quite some time and had a few ingrowns I couldn't get out myself. I am very satisfied with my service, polish application, complimentary drink and chair massage. My only suggestion would be: the cleaning lady shouldn't use "used/dirty" towels to wipe down floors & pedicure bowls. I wasn't there to witness if she cleaned with disinfect spray after, but dead skin & toe jam lined towels should go straight to washing room. Only reason for 4 and not 5 stars. read more

Coming from church and needed a pedicure. My friend and I decided to give them a try. This place is beautiful and spacious. We walked in on a Sunday around 11:30 and were immediately assisted and told we would have a 5 minute wait. Their waiting area is so nice. They have massage chairs in the waiting area so your guy who refuses to get a pedicure can get a chair massage while he waits for you. The pedicure chairs are nice. I love that they have so many colors to choose from. Amanda did my pedicure and she was friendly and efficient. I chose the base pedicure but they offer all the services including a steam treatment for one of the more pricier options. I'll be back! read more

Absolute Worst Experience Ever!!! I was genuinely disappointed by my experience at Inspire Nail Bar Woodmore. I was visiting family from out of state, and they highly recommended this salon. Because of their recommendation and the beautiful appearance of the salon, I was looking forward to a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case. During my appointment, the technician was dismissive and unreceptive to my concerns. While creating the cat-eye effect, I explained that it was not looking the way I wanted. Rather than listening or trying to adjust it, he dismissed my feedback and continued. After he completed the color on one hand, I told him the color appeared much darker than I expected and that I did not like the finished look. Instead of discussing options or attempting to correct it, he asked why I had not said something earlier--even though I expressed my concerns as soon as I realized how the finished color looked. He then proceeded to apply the same color to my other hand without addressing my concerns. What made the experience even more concerning was the confusion surrounding the technician's identity. During the service, he told me his name was Daniel. Later, when I asked about leaving a tip, the front desk attendant referred to him as John. When I explained that he had introduced himself as Daniel, she appeared confused and said I could tip "his wife." I left uncertain about who had actually performed my service. I also asked whether the manager or owner was available because I wanted to discuss my experience. The front desk attendant simply said no. When I asked when the manager might be available, she said she had no idea. At no point did anyone seem interested in resolving my concerns or ensuring that I left satisfied. I believe every customer deserves to be treated with courtesy and respect, especially when they are paying for a service. Despite my disappointment, I was still prepared to leave a tip because the technician had performed the service. However, given the conflicting information about his identity, I wasn't even certain who I would be tipping. As someone who was visiting from another state, this was especially disappointing because my family had recommended Inspire Nail Bar Woodmere with confidence. I honestly hate having to leave a review like this because I don't want my family's recommendation to reflect poorly on them. However, I also believe future customers deserve an honest account of my experience. The salon itself is beautiful, but exceptional customer service is what keeps clients coming back. I thought I had finally found a go-to shop but I've since changed my mind. I had a good experience the last time I was here. I decided to schedule an appointment for my daughter (10) to get a kids gel pedicure for her promotion ceremony. Apparently, there's a height limit on what qualifies as a kid. She's over 5 feet so they let me know she would have to get an adult pedicure. That's about $30 than expected. I scheduled with a specific tech but she received someone else. He was good so it worked out but the person I asked for was very much present and lounging most of our visit. Also, they didn't have the gel color she wanted and it had to be modified. I'm not a fan of this visit but my daughter was happy. read more

I have never written a review before, but I choose to write one because of the very important issues. The hygiene when getting a pedicure is extremely poor. They do not clean the bowel after each use. Which will can cause a serious bacterial infection requiring long term antibiotic use. They just line the bowl with the blue plastic cover and that is it. A gentleman was next to me and finished his pedicure, they brought the next customer to sit and line the blue bowel without cleaning it. Please, if you cherish your life find a new nail please with better hygiene practices. They don't care about us. read more

I've been to this nail bar on several occasions and I've never had any issues. Their service is always quick and friendly. My nails last as long as I'd expect and the designs are always executed perfectly! They offer a drink when you are being serviced. My go-to is a cucumber mocktail. I've arrived several times without a reservation and have been able to receive service. There are plenty of nail techs at this location and free parking! I've been a loyal patron of this salon since they opened in my neighborhood, but I agree with other reviews that the service has slipped lately. It really depends on who you see, and the experience just isn't consistently good. On Monday, I got my nails done before a business trip. By Wednesday, the gel polish was already peeling and looked terrible. Today is Saturday, and I went straight from the airport back to the salon to have it fixed. I wanted a different tech to redo my nails (the one who did my nails initially was very slow and even admitted he wasn't good with designs). When I told the manager I preferred someone else given the quality issue, she said I'd have to pay for that. I didn't feel I should pay for their poor service, so I ended up waiting more than 30 minutes for the original tech before finally agreeing to let someone else help me. I had somewhere I needed to be, it's Mother's Day weekend, and I needed my nails done -- so I wound up paying an extra $40 on top of the $70 I already paid on Monday. They didn't offer any discount or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. I'm deeply disappointed by this experience. There are plenty of nail salons in this area, and they won't last long here if they don't improve their customer service. That manager definitely needs retraining on customer service. read more

After a positive first experience at Inspire I went back for a second appointment. The person I saw the first time wasn't available so I read the reviews online and booked with Victor. Terrible idea. From the moment I sat down I felt something was off. He did not greet me, he did not ask me to wash my hands before starting the service, and I wasn't offered water. I then said hi, and introduced myself and asked him if we were going to discuss my service. He assumed I had acrylic. I had to correct him and share I have polygel. I had some lifting from my previous visit to which he did not correct after I said it multiple times. He also did a sloppy cut down my nails are not the same shape, and he cannot polish. For $70 I am more than disappointed. I raised my concerns when I checked out to which I was told "ok". I was hopeful that I would have a better experience because this place is close to my house but the search continues for a nail salon that has quality and consistent service. read more

There are massage chairs in the waiting area, snacks and a menu for drinks. I visited after the grand opening 8-8-25 My Mama & I came for Mani's & Pedi's for our family vacation. The esthetics were eye catching and beautiful colors but that's where it stopped!. You checked in on a Kiosk but nobody stood there to make sure you got it right or to help to make sure!.. they don't call your name as they say they do. Alcoholic drinks/ mocktails are served but there's no price list!. Several people were getting things with steam or a drink, However the nail techs weren't listening to the customers as one lady just brushed off one of their errors!, they charge to take off Gel Polish! She over charged me $10.00 for that!. Everyone at the desk is young and busy with TikTok videos to give you true customer service. The Pedicure was $40 starting was as basic as any other place that charges $27-30.00. You can ask for No gel because it's used a lot & people aren't informed that you have a choice! They assume you want Gel because it lasts longer but long run mess up your natural nails/cuticles. My mama got very upset because they weren't listening they just painted her nails with Gel polish and not informing her that's what it was also disregarding other things. I visited this location during their grand opening on May 18. I usually visit their Navy Yard location in DC. I waited in line for two hours, hoping to be one of the first 30 people in line to win a $200 gift card. Problem 1: One of the staff members counted off and informed us, along with the people in front of me and the couple behind us, that we had made the cutoff. However, she returned and mentioned that I was now number 31 because she had forgotten that there were people waiting in the car who were not physically in line. I found this unfair, but I decided to overlook it. The grand opening was a pleasant experience with an abundance of food, snacks, and beverages. All the staff members were enthusiastic and friendly, and they did a great job keeping the raffle entertaining to maintain engagement. Problem 2: Lack of organization They instructed us to sign in on a kiosk and informed us that someone would call our names. However, this never happened. I had to repeatedly inquire if anyone was available to perform Gel-X manicures because I was left sitting at a station without any information. They also failed to mention that we could only receive one service while we were waiting in line. I had intended to get a manicure and pedicure, but I was eventually assigned to a gentleman who was very friendly. I had specifically requested a Gel-X MANICURE when I was in line and when I checked in on the kiosk, but he began removing my existing nails and started applying the new ones before I stopped him to perform the manicure. Despite this oversight, he did a great job and was very friendly. After the grand opening festivities, business declined significantly, so they were able to accommodate me for a pedicure. After enduring a five-hour wait, I was finally finished. Problem 3: Quality of Gel-X nails The quality of the Gel-X nails was disappointing. Just a week and a day after my nails were done, one of them popped off. I called ahead, explained the incident, and returned to the salon for a fix. The tech was friendly, and since I was within their 7-day policy, they didn't charge me, which was a nice gesture. About 3 or 4 days later, another nail popped off. I called when they opened and asked if I needed an appointment to get it fixed. They informed me that I didn't. I arrived at 11 a.m. and was asked to return at 12:30 p.m. I called the lady I had spoken to earlier and asked if I needed an appointment, but she assured me that I didn't. As a compromise, she tried to fit me in at 12 p.m., but I wasn't seen until closer to 12:30 p.m. I ended up leaving around 1:15 p.m. to have one nail reapplied. I paid around $7 for the repair because they were still running their 30% special. Since then, not even a month after my nails were applied, several nails have cracked near the cuticle or popped off. The nail glue I bought from Target appears to be stronger than whatever they used. Final thoughts: I won't be visiting this nail salon again. The quality of their materials is poor, and they are very disorganized. The staff members were pleasant, but I don't understand how they manage appointments using a regular spiral notebook when they have computers and kiosks available. The last time I visited, the staff member was writing down appointments in a spiral notebook. I've been using the Gel-X system for the past four years and have never had so many nails break. I'm not doing anything unusual, and the nails aren't long by any means. They are not using official Gel-X branded products, and it shows. If that's the case, the price should reflect the aftermarket products. I would consider visiting again if their quality improves or they offer a comparable service with a different application. But for now, I wish them all the best! read more
