A good number of items, very good prices, senior menu options as well as children's menu options. On this visit both of us opted for the 2 egg breakfast that's served with corned beef hash and toast of our choice. We both went with the raisin toast. It was good overall. Nothing Wowed me really. Wait, let me back up. Service here was very good. Sweet, fun servers, prompt answering questions, bringing drink refills, sample of the soup -yep, she did that. We ordered breakfast, the same thing for that matter. Our entrees arrived shortly after we ordered and they looked good. I was a it saddened to see my corned beef hash a wee bit browner that I would prefer but that's my fault for not specifying how I like it cooked. One thing I especially like is the raisin bread toast option. This seems to be a thing in Michigan, and I LOVE IT! We paid cash and asked for change for a large bill and server was able to accommodate that request easily. So overall we had a good experience here. I will say this is a small diner and the parking lot is similar. Customers appear to be regulars, or else the staff just treats everyone like they know them. They certainly do a good job of welcoming their customers.

Cod with Mac&Cheese for the hubby and perch Reuben for me. The fish was delicious! The macaroni was a little soft for my liking, I prefer al dente, but the flavor was good, as was the tartar and thousand island. Quite a bit of food without breaking the bank! Of course, all the employees are super pleasant too!

I came here on lunch break craving seafood, since New Baltimore is located off Anchor Bay. I was…read moreexpecting to walk in and get fried or baked lake fish, but to my surprise this place goes for a more tropical theme. Soon as you walk in, you feel like you were transported to a tropical island in the Caribbean. Most of the seafood items consist of lobster, shrimp and mahi. But they also offer burgers, various chicken dishes, and tropical drinks. I was not expecting to like the restaurant this much, but they are a hidden gem. The lobster roll I got came with pineapple coleslaw for $24, which is a pretty good deal for lobster roll. I also asked to have it with a side of chips, which was a good idea as it gave my meal more texture since the lobster rolls are very soft, but delicious nonetheless due to the fact they use Hawaiian rolls for the sandwich bread. I finished my meal with a slice of key lime pie, which was also excellent. The staff here are also very polite and do their best to make sure you are satisfied. 100% worth a visit even if you don't live close to them (no matter what time of year)

Unfortunately, when we arrived, the soft-serve margarita machine was down and we were told it would be another 30 minutes. We decided to order different drinks instead, but in hindsight we could have waited because our food didn't arrive for nearly an hour and a half. When we first got there, there was only one other table occupied, so the wait was really surprising. As time went on, more people started coming in and being seated, but it seemed like several tables weren't being greeted for quite a while. We even watched one table get up and leave before anyone came over to them. There also seemed to be a lot of confusion at the entrance because the host stand is awkwardly placed. Multiple people looked unsure whether they were supposed to seat themselves or wait to be seated, and the layout just isn't very inviting or intuitive for guests or even the staff. We ordered the lobster roll with a side of mac and cheese and a chicken bowl. The lobster roll was incredibly disappointing--dry, lacking flavor, and honestly just unpleasant. The mac and cheese and chicken bowl were okay, but nothing memorable enough to justify the wait or the price. Speaking of the price, this meal was expensive, which made the experience even more disappointing. I left feeling like I had wasted my money. I had really been looking forward to trying this restaurant, but between the unavailable signature drink, the extremely long wait, the confusing atmosphere, and the underwhelming food, it was a frustrating experience from start to finish. I genuinely regret spending the money here and, unfortunately, don't see myself coming back.

My husband and I were greeted promptly at around 6:00 on a Friday night in July and were able to be seated immediately, inside, upstairs. It was cool and open with a nice large TV for viewing games... more a bar feel than downstairs or out on the enclosed patio. Our server, Courtney, was outgoing and helpful. Her description of the dishes for our experiences. We ordered a bowl of clam chowder for starters. It was hot and creamy but not too thick. Very tasty. We shared a half of two different sandwiches: turkey burger and fried chicken with bang bang sauce. I had coleslaw as the side and my husband ordered a baked potato. Nice to have choices other than fries. We both really loved our sandwiches. The turkey burger is made in-house with their own added ingredients. It was flavorful and actually tasted like a mix between turkey and a garden burger. My husband said it's the best he's never had. We also loved the chicken sandwich. Perfectly crispy and tangy. Our neighbors saw our dish and regretted not ordering it themselves. Our tab came to $48 without any drinks. A deal for a nice meal. And we were stiffed. Could have easily shared one sandwich and been very satisfied. The vibe in the enclosed, second floor patio was very festive and looked fun. We enjoyed having choices between fine dining, bar casual and outdoor festive. Will definitely return.

Our family ordered a little bit of everything and had mostly no complaints. To start i got one of their seasonal cocktails with cranberry and vodka. It was so strong i couldn't even taste the cranberry and could barely drink it. For entree i got the reuben and fries. I wasn't very hungry and still ended up eating it all! It was a pretty average reuben but i felt like the portions were pretty small especially the fries. One weird thing is that someone ordered a salad and asked for thousand island dressing that came on my reuben and they wouldn't let them order it! They said it wasn't an option which i thought it was weird being that it's on their menu elsewhere. Overall this place has pretty solid food. Some of my family loved it but i thought it was just average. I could see this place being packed in the summer time with it being right in the downtown area.
