I have been here a few times for large events. The team does a nice job on the set up for large group buffets. The food is usually chicken, beef, veggies, pasta, bread and salad. We had such an amazing time tonight! The venue was able to accommodate up to 420 guests this evening. Habitat for Humanity of Macomb County hosted their annual fundraiser gala and it was a total success. The catered food was excellent, the layout and accommodations were perfect, coordination with last-minute requests worked well. I have visited this banquet hall in the past and each time, I am wow'd beyond imagination. I highly recommend! read more

This venue is top notch for any event you need to throw! We had a celebration of life for my father here and when we walked in it was almost magical how beautiful it looks. Even the setup for the food was gorgeous. Everyone said the food was delicious. The staff that worked our event was helpful, kind and so good at their jobs! A really nice and spacious banquet center I wasn't very excited about the location, but once I got inside, it was tastefully lit and had everything that a banquet center should have It has a dance floor enough space to easily accommodate a band (there was a dueling piano event here) and ample space for dining as well as at least two bar tops It probably has what you need if this is what you're looking for read more

I've always enjoyed every visit I've had to Zuccaro's. Most of them were at the original location off of 16 Mile Rd., but I've been to the newer location twice now, and they are batting 100! First things first, this location is better and much more up to date (check out my pics). The decor is very swanky, without being gaudy or over-the-top. The bathrooms are immaculate! After washing my hands with the greatest smelling soap ever, the paper towel came out with but a wave of my hand. Now let's talk staff. I can't believe how efficient and respectful they were at such a seemingly young age. Handsome young men and pretty young women, while certainly not a prerequisite for my dining enjoyment, I'll admit they do add a bit to the overall experience; especially when they know what they're doing, like these staffers did. And for the Main Event...The Food! The salad comes tossed, and is a great blend of shredded carrots, spring mix, onion and tomatoes. The dressing was traditional Italian, with just the right amount of vinegar bite that I love (see pic). The bread basket, consisting of both plain and sesame rolls and garlic bread, was served with the salad and came right on time. Now, I'm not a fan of Alfredo, but here it was executed superbly, and I couldn't get enough of it. It was a fantastic blend of garlic and cheese in a cream sauce perfectly mixed with house spices, then tossed with a thin-styled fettuccine (or fat linguine) pasta. Perfecto! The Pollo Marsala is another dish I am not a fan of, and yet again Zuccaro delivered the goods. The chicken was succulent and juicy, with button mushrooms in a semi-creamy Marsala wine cream sauce. SO GOOD. The sausage and meatballs were served together in a thick tomato sauce, and tasted exactly how you'd want them to. The meatballs were small, which made me think they may be store bought, but after taking a bite I think they're homemade; otherwise, I need to know what store they buy them from! I like to stuff the meatballs and sausage in the bread rolls, and make little dago sandwiches with them. The Garlic Mashed Red Skin Potatoes were out of this world!!! I like potatoes, but last night I was like a potato whore, offering all types of sexual favors for one more helping of this stupendously whipped side dish. The garden veggies, which I marry with every bite of my potatoes, was a great blend of summer vegetables. Lastly, there's dessert. Again, here's another thing I'm famous for passing on, and here I destroyed a mini cannoli, two cookies, a mini cheesecake, and a brownie! I've eaten Italian food my entire life, and being Italian myself, makes me a harsh judge of Italian restaurants, and more specifically, Italian catering halls. Zuccaro's, unlike most I've come across, delivers top notch food in a beautifully designed atmosphere, and the staff makes you feel at home without getting in the way of the evening. If you plan anything that requires a catering hall, you'd be a fool not to have it here. read more

I had my engagement party here and recently my baby shower. I love Zuccaro's! The staff was very helpful, friendly, and accomodating. Elaina met with my family and I to select the linens and menu. She was very knowledgeable and patient with us during the selection process. Great menu selection for all types of events, and a large variety of basic linens to choose from. My only complaint is they charge $200 for a chair removal fee, because we rented chairs from another company. Zuccaro's charges for their staff to take their chairs from the hall and store them elsewhere in their building. Good size venue and excellent food. I wanted to come back here for my baby shower because I remember the guests at my engagement party raving about the food! All the food still had great taste. Also roomy and clean restrooms. On the day of the event, Neil helped us out with anything we needed. Everyone was very prompt with handling our requests and setting up the shower. Have been coming to Zuccaro for the past few years for my daughter's school daddy daughter dance. I have also been to the location on 16 and Gratiot years ago when it was still zuccaro. The 21 mile location is clean and inviting...they have a large cost check right at the entrance and the lobby is large enough to accommodate mingling guests. The main hall is sufficient in size for at least 400 people and features a large dance floor right in the middle...larger than most of the competing halls in the are. A large bar at the center of the rear of the room is a centerpiece and buffet dinners flank both sides to accommodate the large crowd. The food has always been good with chicken, marinara pasta, Alfredo pasta, vegetable, salad and bread being the staples. Always got and tasty. Very pleased with this hall. read more

We had our daughter's wedding held in the chapel Aug 12. It was the perfect venue! The crisp white chapel held all our guests and the wedding party very well and had a nice cross breeze, yet was covered from sun or rain. Then everyone moved to the reception hall. It was stunning! The linens were crisp and beautiful, the food delicious, the service friendly! The staff we booked with paid attention to every single detail and were so professional and nice. We had our daughters wedding at Zuccaro's last Saturday and I cannot express how happy we are with their service. They helped before the wedding and the head waiter Billy was exceptional, asking us if everything was satisfactory every hour on the hour. Had a great time at the wedding reception. Appetizers were so amazing I wasn't even hungry for dinner. The lamb kabobs could have been my full meal. Attended a banquet at Zuccaro last evening. Had a swell time. The foyer had beautiful Xmas decor, the banquet area was spacious & very pretty. The buffet was delish. The coffee was served right on time The staff did a great job! They have the latest hi-tech equipment . The tv screens that show everything and everybody! My only "suggestions" would be. . . . maybe valet parking for big events . the chair seats were "tired ". Stained. either replace 'em or have 'em cleaned. read more

So this place was great for a wedding. My brother and his wife were married here last Friday and it was great. Alaina was the coordinator and Neil was managing. They did everything they could to make this a special day for my brother and his bride. The food was great, but the brought the chili dog bar out and didn't announce it, and the bartenders were a bit cocky and got rude towards the end of the night. The tip jar was full if I remember correctly. But other than those two things, this place did not disappoint. I would recommend this place for the convenience of the location and for the outdoor venue they had for the wedding as well. The servers were well trained and the family style dinner was done well. Over all I'm giving this place a 4 because it was wonderful, but I as the best man was not impressed with the bartenders or their attitudes towards the guest at the end of the night. But to be clear this is my opinion and we were a rowdy bunch. But definitely ask for Neil and Alaina they were patient and wonderful. Thank you two! read more

My boyfriend and I attended a friend's wedding at Zuccaro's last night. The hall is beautiful and the food is really good! It was pretty cold in the hall but they made it more comfortable when I asked them too. The only thing that I think they need to work on is the servers when they are serving the hors d'oeuvres they would pass people up. Luckily they came around a few times and the ones they missed were able to get some. Also they try to remove your plate before you are done eating. I have never been to a reception where they serve bruschetta, raviolis, and cheese and crackers before the meal! It was really good too. The buffet was one of the best I've ever had. It even had taco salad on it! I would definitely recommend this hall :0) read more

We went for Mother's Day brunch. I made the reservation with ease just a few days prior to. It was very organized. All families had their own tables. The food was very fresh, tasty and plenty of it, large selection. It was decorated very nice. It was really great. We will do this ever year!!! read more

I am only putting one star because I have to otherwise it would be zero stars. We were supposed to get married on October 24th. We put a deposit down on February 2019 for the October date. Our next payment was supposed to be in April 2020. We were going to pay but with COVID out and relatively new we were told it would be fine to wait a few months for the next payment. We were contacted during the summer and were told that the company was short on money so they wanted us to make a payment but would not guarantee we would receive any money back if we were not able to have the wedding. We did not want to hand over more money if the company was already in trouble. We wanted it in writing that if we could not have the wedding in Oct that we wanted our money back. They still refused to put anything in writing . We were contacted about 2 weeks before the wedding that they would not allow us to reschedule the wedding or receive any money back from Zucarros. We worked with all of the other companies and were able to receive money back from every single one except Zucarros. We want others to be aware before signing any contracts with them. They have stopped responding to our requests for further discussions. I will be posting positive reviews for the other companies including Viviano Flower Shop and Chocolate Bar Cafe. read more

Zuccaros did a fantastic job at the 150th Anniversary luncheon for St. John's Lutheran Church. The office staff was flexible with our fluctuating attendee count and the per person plate price was very reasonable. The food was great and the serving staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The large, clean and well decorated restrooms accommodated many guests. We received many positive comments from those attending and would not hesitate to recommend the Chesterfield banquet hall in the future. read more

The entire family with lots of kids went to the Easter brunch for the 2nd year in a row (this time more came along). Everyone had such a good time, pics galore. Great variety of food and loved the desserts. We had our own corner and the kids played games on the floor with their easter toys. They all got pics with the easter bunny. We are now going there for a family tradition. Nice not having to cook and clean up afterwards with lots of kids. Hall was perfect temperature. It was fun dressing up at bit too! read more

The food was good but the dessert police were rude. I really enjoyed the chicken piccata, it was better than most banquet chicken. However, the waiter who told me that I could not have a dessert from the dessert table even though I had to leave in 10 minutes was rude. He did not offer an alternative, such as a box, even when I made the suggestion. I paid $45 for this luncheon and I had to leave, I think that it was not out of line to request dessert. He did everything but physically stop me to get me to put down the dessert. I will not be planning or suggesting to anyone that they plan an event here. read more

I know I'm a little late with this review, but with the impending holiday season upon us (shush..don't shoot me) I thought I'd give a litte shout out to one of the best NYE parties around. Let me start by saying, I felt like I was at a HUGE HUGE wedding...the place was packed with about 50 (or more) tables that had about 10-12 peolpe at each table. Huge crowd, and everyone was having a ball like some big family event. Even with this many people in attendance, I can tell you that #1 The service was excellent! #2 The food, was AMAZING! Steaks, hot off the..watever cooked to perfection, as was everything else we had, potatoes, pasta, salad, chicken, soup.. It was ALL really delicious. They also brought out pizza after midnight #3 Never any issues getting a cocktail, and by issues, I mean enormous annoying lines. #4. Great party starting DJ and all around crowd pleaser, we're talking modern dance music, motown, and some doo-wop. FUN FOR EVERYONE!! #5. Last but certainly not least...After not being able to get a taxi back to our hotel when the party was over, and trying to, unsuccessfully let me add, snag a ride from other party-goers, and the DJ..haha..we were desperate! The very pleasant owner Tony Zuccaro gave my girlfriends and I a lift to our hotel in his Jag! Now that's some damn service!! read more

OK first off, I was in the wedding party. This was an open bar reception. Can the wedding party have one beer before the ceremony? Nope. then why was someone standing behind the bar? We were told no like the dude was our dad or something, we are all over 30. "Didn't want us drunk before the ceremony" WTF? Strike one. Then the servers had no water on the head table. Strike two. Servers took forever to clear plates, strike three. Took the full champagne glasses off the table when they did finally clear, strike four. Kept taking my water glasses (that I continually had to go get at the bar) from the table, even when I put a napkin over it. Strike five. No bathroom for the bride near the area for her to get ready, strike six. The food was mediocre at best. Not going to recommend the place. for years I had wanted to check the place out as I grew up over that way, hoping not to go again. read more
