    Burnt End Tacos
    Mike S.

I stopped in today for lunch and the tacos were amazing. I tried several of their sauces but the Chipotle and Ghost Pepper were my favorites. The only reason I haven't been there more often is that it isn't too close to home. Service each visit has been friendly and prompt. I only stopped in for lunch so I wasn't able to take advantage of their extensive beer selection. Next time I am over there I will make sure it is after work. Parking is still very limited but I was able to find a spot with no problem.

The BBQ Shepherds pie with brisket. A must try!

The best bbq/comfort food I have had in a long time! The burnt ends were delicious and a great app to share with others. Also decided to get one of their faygo adult beverages (can't remember the name) chose the rock and rye and it was also not too sweet and very good. The star of the show was the bbq shepherd's pie with the cornbread and smoked mac and cheese and we got it with the most tender brisket. I had a couple bites and knew this would be a dish that I will think about weeks later and wish I lived closer to this restaurant. It was a combination I never thought of but it was a symphony of deliciousness. The very close second amazing entrée was the brisket burrito containing the most tender brisket, flavorful baked beans and the richness of the mac and cheese. If you are going to try them out, don't sleep on these two items, you can't go wrong! We came with a big group and our two servers were on top of it all! The manager came to check on us and everything was just on point. Also wish they would have the Alabama white sauce on the table with the other sauces. It was amazing on a salad and in the burrito but you will have to ask for a side of it. Anytime I am near romeo I will definitely be going back! I do wish they had more parking availability but besides that this place is a must try! You won't regret it.

First time trying and really like their meat. The beer carrier for sauces is a a nice touch. Everything was good. Baked beans, slaw, Mac and cheese.

This place is amazing! I travel all over the country and frequent BBQ restaurants. This is the best of the best. Service nailed it! The ambiance walking in was perfect! They had their sauces lined up on display and that had me eager to try them. The sauces were delivered to the table in a 6-pack container... that's classy. The sauce containers were well labeled along with a heat sauce. Smart!! The manager stopped and asked how the food was and didn't just do a fly-bye avoiding eye contact. The owner stopped by and asked us how the food was. Totally impressed with the juicy brisket, burnet ends, BBQ nachos, brisket Mac & cheese, homemade potato salad was fresh & yummy, smoked chicken wings are seasoned perfectly and juicy. I recommend to make a drive for this place.

Decided to try this place for the brisket that a friend recommended. Went 10/28 it was busy and that is usually a good sign that food is good. Since it was Saturday we did expect a wait. Came in and was told the wait was a hour. We put our name in and my husband and I already knew what we wanted. (Neither of us eat pork and made sure the brisket was beef. I get terrible gI pains and get so sick from anything pork) We get seated in 50 minutes so that was a plus. Then sat at a table 15 or so minutes without anyone coming to our table. Finally the hostess came up and said @Has anyone come to your table yet"? We replied no. Then the waitress came over. Starts out with we are out of a few things..... Wings, something else and all items with brisket. I tell her "Well, that's about 70% of your menu. I can't eat pork or anything with pork in it and what else is there besides chicken"? I think she said some kind of turkey. I really think if a restaurant is out of that many things on their menu they should inform you and let you decide if you want to stay or leave when you check in. We would've made the choice to leave. I order the chicken burrito and made a point of saying nothing with pork on it. I get asked if I want the salsa or queso? I said queso. My husband orders the chicken street taco. I order a drink and they are out of an ingredient. At this point I'm ready to leave and just go somewhere else. I decided to just order the rum punch. He orders a beer. She comes with the drinks and the rum punch was good. Food comes out in a timely manner. She sits down the queso and said you probably don't want that because it has pork in it would you like the salsa instead? Yes, please was my reply. The waitress was busting her butt the whole time and I didn't see anyone else helping her. Plus she took the time to remember I'm allergic to pork. My husband said his chicken street tacos had absolutely no flavor. My burrito was good after I put some chipotle honey sauce on it. I told him this has a really strange flavor it's like baked beans. Sure enough it does have their baked beans in it and I'm 1000% sure they are cooked in or with some pork. I got sick before we even left the restaurant. I am so sick today and been living in the bathroom. The restaurant itself is nice the waitress was amazing and the wait was less than they said. Other than that I don't have anything positive to say. Would I come back? No, I can find good brisket elsewhere.

This review for Bird Dogz is a long time coming. We've been following Chef Jess for the last two summers because the food is that good. Almost everything on her decked out hot dogs and chicken sandwiches is made from scratch - from the coleslaw to the pineapple bbq sauce and dill pickle chips, hell I think the mayo is even from scratch. The fresh squeezed lemonade, which comes in several flavors, is what lemonade should taste like, not overly sweet but very refreshing and light. As we're making our way through the menu after many visits already, here are some of our highlights: "Frankie" Hot Dog - jumbo hot dog topped with brown sugar bacon, homemade coleslaw, crushed chips, scallions, and apple butter...yes apple butter and trust me it's literally a perfect compliment to the rest of the ingredients. Our perennial favorite. "Miss Piggy" Sandwich - grilled smoked ham, thick bacon and cheese on fresh baked sourdough. Little bits of cheese grilled on the outside of the sandwhich is a plus #4 Crispy or roasted Chicken Sandwich topped with pineapple BBQ sauce, homemade slaw and pickle chips. Yet another unexpected but very delicious combo Sidewinder fries - Garlic Parmesan flavor - thick, fresh cut fries in a twisty shape with flavor bombs topped throughout Heirloom BLT - delectable sandwich with the large slices of fresh heirloom tomatoes, brown sugar bacon, shredded lettuce, and black pepper crema on fresh baked, toasted sourdough Fresh Lemonade - hand crafted, several flavors and worth it There's also a tempting selection of desserts, some with Tillamook icecream in several flavors. I'm usually too stuffed from the meal to take on a dessert, so I have yet to try and will update the review later. Chef Jess and her crew are friendly and very accommodating to requests. Outdoor seating with cute seating vignettes, even a kids table. We brought our family to Bird Dogz for an impromptu birthday get-together and Chef Jess and her crew went out of their way by setting up a long table decorated for the occasion. With nine people in the party, service was fast and food was consistently delicious. Not much time left in the summer so we're taking in Bird Dogz more often. This weekend they have Peach Festival dessert specials going on. Apparently Bird Dogz holds pop-up events after summer with a different menu(s), which is something to look forward to.

Fantastic food truck in Washington Township...worth driving out of your way to get this food…read more The truck is know for their amazing, over the top loaded hot dogs. But they also have great looking sandwiches and fantastic ice cream treats. On my first visit I got the following. Frankie Dog- amazing combo of sweet bacon, crispy fresh slaw, apple butter and chips. Was an amazing salty sweet blend...fantastic Garlic Parm fries- loved the pedal shape of the fries great for scooping up the Parm garlic mix and a little ketchup Strawberry float- not just vanilla ice cream with pop. This had chunks of fresh strawberries mixed in...fantastic Blueberry cinnamon roll- this may have been a daily special but I hope not...definitely would like to get it again. What was also nice was the great sitting area they have set up. There were a couple tents set up, and nicely furnished. There were even cards and board games to play while you waited for your food. That was a great touch. I'll definitely be back
