I decided to do a 2nd runner-up for the letter B in 2025 alphabet series. My initial B pick was out of town in Toronto, Canada, and my runner-up was a unique experience than just going to some random restaurant, Black Ankle Vineyards in Frederick County. My 2nd runner-up for the letter B for 2025, I wanted to give a shoutout to B is for Bubbakoo's Burritos. I remember seeing Bubbakoo's Burritos in the Baltimore area but hadn't been. Then, they opened this location close to my home. They opened just under a year ago. They had a BOGO deal opening week, and we went for lunch on Sunday, June 29, 2025. We decided on the quesadilla as we didn't want to overeat that day. Wow, it was delicious! My issue that day was that it took about 25 minutes just waiting to get my food. They were pretty busy but not horribly busy. So, I was kind of annoyed as we had a movie we were trying to get to after lunch and felt they should've been more efficient. I felt that it'd be unfair to give them a review based on that as I figured they'd work out their kinks in the coming weeks. On my subsequent visit in November 2025, I wanted to try their namesake item, Burrito. I wanted to try their burrito because it's not Bubbakoo's Quesadillas, Bubbakoo's Tacos, Bubbakoo's Bowls (which would still have the alliteration); it's Bubbakoo's Burritos! Wow, the burrito was big & delicious. Staff was friendly and efficient. Also, I had free cinnamon churros. Wow, those were amazing! I ate very well that day and skipped dinner that night, maybe a snack or something. It's rare I actually want a burrito, but this is place to get one! But their other items are great too, and I try to follow whatever deal I can get. I went a few more times since then both through mobile order & walking in ordering. I got the tacos before when they had a special, which were good. Quesadilla has been the most common thing I've gotten as I usually don't want to overeat. I did get the burrito again in 2026. I also tried their new beef birria crunch wrap (or maybe it's not new, but they were just promoting it). This thing is a big & filling hexagon shaped wrap of goodness. I loved it and got again when it was a $3 off deal. At regular price, it's a bit more expensive than some other items, but it's worth it if I was paying full price. Staff is always friendly and efficient. Mobile orders are generally ready at/before promised time or maybe only a couple minutes off, and I never have to wait too long when I go order there. In summary, all delicious food, some good deals, good rewards program, and I'll keep coming back. read more

I ordered the Birria Dilla online, and by the time I arrived my order was already ready, which made pickup super convenient. I didn't add any extras, just wanted to try it as-is. While waiting, I noticed the food is cooked fresh to order on a large grill, which is always a good sign. The place itself is located in a strip shopping center with other food spots, stores, and even a laundromat nearby, so there's a bit going on in the area. There are also a few tables inside if you want to dine in. The Birria Dilla was good, flavorful and satisfying, and I'd definitely come back to try more items on the menu. read more

I discovered BubbaKoo's Burritos on UberEats. They had a buy 1 get 1 free special on the burritos. I thought it was a deal worth checking out a new place. I ordered the chicken burrito, and was limited to five toppings, so I added cilantro lime rice, black beans, corn salsa, sour cream and cheese. The burrito was huge, and bland! No flavor or spices. I really struggled to eat my burritos. I don't waste money so this turned into nourishment sans enjoyment. I can't speak on the service nor ambiance since I didn't order or dine in person. read more

When Bubbakoo's Burritos first opened, they sent out coupons in the mail, which caught my attention. I'd seen a different location before, but hadn't had a chance to try it. Then one day, I noticed there was a new spot in Laurel , so I figured it was the perfect time to check it out. I decided to go with the small nacho portion, and honestly, it was the perfect size definitely enough to satisfy my hunger. My son ordered the quesadilla, and after trying it, he loved it. The flavors were on point, customer service was friendly and everything was fresh. Overall, I'd say it was a success! Easy to find. They're located in the Brockbridge Shopping Center. There's a Dunkin Donuts at the entrance as a point of reference. Plenty of parking available. It wasn't too busy when I arrived. Good service with friendly employees! I got a takeout order - grilled chicken bowl with rice, pico de gallo, corn, jalapeños, sour cream, lettuce and spicy mango habernero sauce (wasn't spicy to me). I never even heard of Bubbakoo's until this new Laurel location opened, but apparently there's a few around MD now. It's a big chain it seems that's known for its burritos. Their logo has a nice shade of green too. For their first week that had a dope BOGO deal for everyone so I ended up going twice so I could really get to explore multiple things. Both orders were done online, and I went in person to pick them up. It's a nice open restaurant with a "Now Open" banner outside you can't miss. The long bench has several tables that are almost too close together... you have to move them to squeeze in between haha. First time I went in, tables were spotless, but the second time I had to wipe them off myself. Their first full weekend was busy indeed, good for them! When I went in to pick up my first order, there was some dude in there that was visibly upset about something and pretty much he had the attention of all the staff. I wasn't paying attention, but geez man, they just opened, let them work out their kinks. There's a shelf clearly marked for online pickup orders, so I grabbed my bag and went out. The second time I decided to eat in just to capture the vibes. The staff are really kind, by the way. Here's all the food I've tried in order: Breakfast burrito w/ veggies: honestly I thought it was pretty darn dry and could've used a sauce inside. The ingredients inside were good, but a sauce would've amped it up. I don't recall seeing an option to add one, but I wish I would've somehow. Mango habanero shredded chicken burrito bowl: umm... it was nothing short of fantastic. The bowls (at least visually) seem heftier than the burritos themselves and it was mighty filling. I enjoyed every bite. General Tsos chicken burrito: their burritos are missing something... I did get the sauce (which I loved) but it was only in some bites... it's like everything in there was sectioned off. Some bites were just straight rice. Didn't love that. Honey sriracha shredded chicken quesadilla: it absolutely slapped. Favorite thing that I've had so far. Saucy, flavorful, and satisfying. There are plenty of other meats, appetizers, and desserts to try. But all that said, I've enjoyed the burritos the least so far, which is what I didn't expect given the name of the spot. Maybe next time I'll try building my own burrito from scratch instead of picking a default. I'll be back! read more

I've tried their Breakfast Burrito and General Tso's Crispy Burrito. Their food is decent- cooked well, quirky, and has some heat to it depending on what you get. I especially enjoy their Breakfast Burrito w/Philly Steak. The space is clean, not small, not too big, about medium sized, fun designs and fonts, but the customer service was somewhat poor on Grand Opening. Parking is easy. This place has potential, but I think they could improve on their marketing, rice ratios, and speed. read more

Fast food Tex Mex but you can get a breakfast burrito or bowl all day long!!! They've been open for about a week so give them some grace, I had to wait a bit to get the Philly steak for my breakfast burrito but it was cool and I get the Pineapple Express and a small chips with queso. I hope they do well and look forward to coming back when they get the kinks out. read more

A must try!!! I've ordered from bubbakoo's before via DoorDash and it was good! But nothing beats going in for yourself. Last night me and my family decided to go place our orders ourselves. You can tell they are an order business just by us being the other people inside but several dashers coming in and out. The staff were so nice and very generous with the portion sizes. I got the nachos and I probably will be eating on them until Monday for lunch! I will be back. The restaurant was very clean and they even had a tv.
