My partner wanted some Buffalo cauliflower & cajon fries so went back to this place even though I really didn't want to and I'm so glad I did. The Buffalo cauliflower is delicious & cures my craving for wings without having to support murdering chickens. I told the manager that I didn't want anything in plastic and they accommodated me by using the cardboard containers. The staff was kind enough to listen to me explain to them why I refuse single use plastic and how it breaks down and is poisoning us. They didn't even look at me like I'm crazy. if I wanted a rice burrito I would have ordered one. I understand times are tough but if you order a chicken burrito there better be some chicken in it, just have been half a scoop at the absolute most. Boo Boo and I came here after being at the dreaded motor vehicle commission in the strip mall. I was starving so we decided to snack here before going back home so I wouldn't get a hissy fit. I ordered the bowl with beans, carnitas, corn, pico and lots of cilantro. Boo Boo got the shrimp burrito with stuff that upsets my stomach but I still eat like cheese and sour cream. I think this place is way better than Chipotle. They have shrimp so Boo Boo is happy and when she is happy I can live another day! I liked they have many different hot sauces. I was so impressed at how rude the girl at the front was! I ordered pick up, received the bag from a worker at the front. I get home and realize my quesadilla was not in there so I give a call. Apparently "the person must've just taken it" - well... no I spoke to someone when I picked it up. "I was in the back doing paperwork, so I guess he didn't know". Seriously, how about an "I'm sorry". I went back to pick it up - still no sorry. Foods good but just from that experience I will not go back. Am I hangry? Maybe but still. I live here in town and order from this place frequently. A couple days ago I came here for a quick lunch I ordered three tacos and one bottle of water cost me $20. I went back after noticing I was overcharged. I informed the cashier that I was overcharged. I was told because I chose "different meats" it was extra. I really didn't feel like arguing over $7. I feel like the chicken is too liquidy and has to be strained more as it made my burrito bowl too watery. The flovor of yhe chicken is a lottlemon the bland side. Even my brown rice is a little mushy. I should say that the place is clean though. I stopped by today to give this new place a try. The location it's great, I have been coming to this center for food, pool supplies, shopping and of course dmv for years. So when I saw this new place opening, I knew I had to give it a try. The inside is very bright and clean. The staff were very friendly and had a big smile on their face. I decided to do the 3 tacos meal with carnitas. When the guy takes a whole scoop of carnitas and made sure it was enough. I was thinking wow this is great. Then he splits that into the 3 tacos, everything went downhill from there for me. For $9, you would think that you would get a little more protein. It literally filled up like 20% of the taco shell at best. We topped it off with black beans, lettuce, salsa, cheese and cilantro. It does come with chips and salsa on the side. Honestly, I didn't even taste the carnitas cause there was so little of it. I hope they will read this and will change to add a little more meat going forward. read more

Love me some burritos!!! Glad to see more options around the area so here it goes. Establishment is big and looks clean. Ordered shredded chicken, pinto beans, brown rice, corn salsa, shredded cheese burrito. Service was swift and adequate. Burrito itself was portioned well! The burrito did lack flavor (possibly because I ordered plain Jane shredded chicken). There's an array of options of protein so I'm assuming those had more flavor. I came here yesterday as I love Bubbakoo's but will be sure not to return.... 2 workers playing with another workers hat. Put a stuffed lizard on her head and I'm like she better put gloves. No greet or anything when I walked in. Then the girl puts gloves on... grabs my chicken and then touches her hat. Touches her hat and the stuffed lizard that they just were touching, not sure why a toy is even on her head in the work place, it falls off her head onto the floor and she's touching it all with her gloves. Is that really too much for the price they're charging Queso, ridiculously spicy. Guac: OK although I will say first time we ever needed to put salt on chips. And last but not least Steak and Shrimp burrito, which came recommended from the guy behind the sneeze guard. Once again, it was OK, nothing to write home about an really wanted it to. I saw this on DoorDash and it looked legit (better than the cheap pick up "Mexican" spots). It wasn't cheap considering - I compared it via their DoorDash to Chipotle. It showed up and we'd ordered a double steak burrito bowl, double carnitas burrito and hot wings (we always want to find new wings). I took a bite into my burrito and it was mediocre at best- but ok I'll still eat half because I'm starving. His double steak burrito bowl he shook up in the box, took a bite.. and for the first time in our life together (6 years) I had to get him a trash can to spit it out. It clearly has what appeared to be boiled meat and lettuce that was Certainly not fresh. I'm glad he didn't eat it because I was sick after my half of a burrito. The bowls aren't as good as Chipotle but the tacos are probably better. But what's the point of measuring out the rice in a bowl? How much could that cost even over months? It's a game of margins, but that seems like the wrong place to cut- especially in front of you. Measuring the meats makes sense. Service didn't seem unprofessional, like others suggested, but it also wasn't a busy time so maybe they aren't as drilled in high volume as other fast casual chains? They greet you when you come in and aren't standing around or on their phones and that's the bar for me at this point. Some of the food is cooked fresh to order, and that's pretty good if you have a few minutes to wait. I'd eat here again. Also got the love chips from some coupon in the mail and they were really good. Carnival-style fried food nearby is a bigger draw and differentiator than the entrees. read more

Underwhelming to say the least, they cook the steak and shrimp separately and it's just takes too long. I ordered the chiwawa which is a cheesy rice ball. The rice ball is huge and dry, the amount of cheese added doesnt help, I ordered guac, sour cream and cilantro, nothing could really help this awful mess. The kid put the cilantro in the center then covered it with guac. The steak was tough but the shrimp were ok. My bf got double steak tacos which he said were good but he will eat anything. This place was just meh. Some stuff was better than others. I had a burrito with the sweet chilli shrimp which was pretty good. My husband got his burrito with double steak and he though it was just ok. My daughter also got a burrito with steak but it seemed like they barely put any steak in it. The guacamole is definitely not fresh. We kept it for another day and they def put something in it so it doesn't brown. Fresh avocado will brown easily overnight. We got a quesadilla with just the shrimp and cheese and it was ok. I did order the queso but it tasted like nacho cheese. It was lighter than nacho cheese should have been (same colour as queso or at least close) but it def was not queso. We also got the chiwawa which was somewhat ok. A little plain if you ask me.
