Great establishment! The workers are very kind and gave generous portions, also the options are great too. I got dinner for my family here and everyone was very pleased with their food. I had placed an order for pickup; buffalo cauliflower. I went to pick it up and half way home I was called to come back. I was given the wrong order. So I heeaded back , no worries. I was given my order and went home. I opened the two orders of buffalo cauliflower and they were extremely soggy and burnt! Ehh, it's a decent burrito place but still has some ways to go. The staff wasn't too knowledgeable on the ingredients or how they are cooked and the food seemed light on protein. There is little to differentiate this place from a chain like chapotle. I think there is potential though, I'd give it another try in the future. read more

This place is better than chipotle or moes. I just had the chiwawa. It's a giant rice ball that you can top with whatever seasonings you want. It was amazing. On top of all of that the staff is super friendly. They are super nice the entire time you're ordering and even checked on me while I was eating to make sure it was good. I was excited to see that a new Mexican place opened close to work. We travel to 3 Chicas in Wyckoff once every other week for lunch, and it's worth the drive, but the idea that there'd be a close place for mexican was ideal. (Chanos Kitchen in Pompton is a pretty good spot too, but not like 3 Chicas) To my disappointment Bubbakoo's just wasn't very good. Any by very good I mean it wasn't a place I'd eat at again. The restaurant was relatively clean, the staff was friendly. The food: I had a burrito bowl with carnitas. Others have noted a lack of protein in the meal, I found it to be just sufficient. What I was unhappy about was the temperature of the food. It was down right cool. Not hot, and not even warm. The rice (white) was a bit clumpy also, although this place serves cafeteria style with a steam table and a cold table, I didn't really expect fluffy lovely rice. The hot sauce didn't come across to me as spicy and the sour cream I asked for was squirted on in a very limited quantity. Overall I wouldn't call this bad food. It was fast. It wasn't particularly expensive. It also wasn't great, hot, or noteworthy. I appreciate good food and am always interested in a good Latin spot. This is not it. read more

I really wanted to enjoy this place. They have a few locations near my cousins in south jersey and all I kept hearing is how good it is. The place is just ok, I went in around 12:30 and was pretty empty which surprised me since it was lunch time. I ordered a chicken burrito bowl and Chips with Queso. The chicken was a little dry, but had a good flavor. Wish they gave a little more chicken, the bowl was a lot more rice than expected. Came in here absolutely starving and was not disappointed! Place is spotless, employees were cheerful and greeted me right away. I'm familiar with Chipotle/Moe's style ordering so I had a general idea what I wanted going in. When I explained to the guy behind the counter that I had never been here before, he guided me through the selections and made a couple suggestions. Decided on a burrito bowl with double meat, grilled chicken and shredded pork. Brown rice was excellent, not gummy at all and very flavorful. Super tender meat, also with awesome flavor on both. Finished up with cheese, corn salsa and some gochujang sauce which is a great addition. Didn't stop to take a picture because the food got immediately scarfed. Great location but very skimpy portions for what you're paying. They took one scoop of meat and divided it between tacos, however i will say they made their fish tacos. The amount you get is definitely better in taco form than a bowl which just looked a little sad. For a new business, not the best to skimp out on portions. Try chiptole instead for a better bang for your buck. The dessert chips were good though and they did make the battered fish fresh. read more

Ordered delivery from here and the food came fast, hot and the fish was still nice and crispy. (Mind you, I live about 5-10 mins away so take that into account) the habanero sauce definitely has a nice kick! Can't wait to try more of their menu read more

Just got this today for lunch and I gotta say it was pretty good. I got a chicken quesadilla and i was happy with it. it was also a really large portion so you're getting plenty of food for your money. This place has a ton of options almost overwhelmingly so. This place is great! Definitely blows away another chain Mexican place. They have a unique spin, hibachi steak and shrimp, siriacha pork and a ton more meat options. I was expecting to experience a couple of bumps considering it has only been open a couple days but that was not the case. Staff was ready and fully trained. I thought it was perfect mix of chipotle and moe's. Their assortment of sauces made it very unique similar options to moe's and chipotle but sauces made it unique. The food was not bad but didn't have the spice in the meat that I personally favor but, good none the less. The queso might actually be better then moe's queso. The service was superb. read more

This restaurant is amazing! I ordered the quesadilla with ground beef and it was delicious! The meat was tender and cooked well! We also ordered the egg rolls that they have and I absolutely love them! They also delivered fairly fast, it only took about 30 minutes which is very impressive being that we live in ringwood! Went here for lunch and was absolutely Yummy! A tiny bit pricey ($12 for burrito & drink) but worth it. Burrito was a nice size, could have easily been 2 lunches for me but I enjoyed it so much I ate the entire thing. Very fresh, nice selection of toppings.
