I got the matcha milk tea with boba ($7). The drink tasted watered down and didn't fully reach the top. I tasted more water than any milky flavor. The boba was sweet and chewy at least. I was disappointed with the drink quality, but it was convenient being in the mall. Drink: 4.7 Staff/service: 7.0 Value: 4.0 Overall: 5.1/10

My girls always love their poppin bubble tea. I normally don't get anything but they now have brown sugar milk tea- which is what I got with the normal tapioca pearls. It was very good! I highly recommend it!

Stopped in while we shopped around. I got the kumquat green tea with grass jelly and crystal boba, and my partner got the mango green tea with crystal boba. The waiting area of the store needed to be cleaned a bit, but I did like that they had displays and instructions of how you could order and modify your drink. Both the option to use a touch screen to order or at the counter. The people working there seemed nice. Cute place, love the bee theme!

Good communicative staff and service. However not enough staff for amount of demand. Our experience would've been better if they provided atleast one more person. The vibe is bad. I get it that it's new, but they have all of the old decoration and branding from the previous lot owner (chai time) gives a dingy unclean vibe. (There was also used wrappers and unclean counters and flooring) They had such good business they had to go and make more tapioca boba pearls. They informed us about the wait (we are fine with waiting for good quality) Now I'm unsure of their process, but it took about 30 minutes for preparation. These were the worst tapioca pearls ever. Unsweet, not chewy. Flavorless play dough. I treat Boba like a Treat, it's a unnecessary indulgence. That being said, it SHOULD be expensive. However, I paid 16.50 for TWO DRINKS! NOT COUNTING TIP. I blew essentially 20 bucks on two drinks we didn't enjoy. Not even shitty Starbucks is that cold. PAY YOUR WORKERS HIRE MORE STAFF.

The spot also has savory corn dogs. I got one with cheese and potatoes, and it was Yum. Perfectly fried and on a stick and it comes packaged in a little box which is very cute.. They also have bubble tea one of my favorite beverages on the planet and this place does the bubbles OK though my drink could've had a few more bubbles. They also sell some little cutie, things like keychains and charms for your crocs. The corn dogs are about seven dollars but they are worth it and the donuts are three or four dollars but also worth it.. Service was very friendly and everything about this place is so cute and yummy. There is meter parking on the street and they're doing some construction, but I found a spot

My husband and I ate here one time. A small amount of indoor seating was available. The employees took many minutes to even say hello to us. Their service improved after another customer noticed my taking photos and asked if they were for social media and reviews. Here are my ratings for what we ate: Mochi donuts - 4.5 stars - I ordered three donuts, one Black Chocolate, one Strawberry, and one Pineapple. I thought that they tasted very rich and good. Crispy Ramen Corn Dog - 3 stars - I ordered a corn dog with half sausage and half mozzarella and a side of spicy mayo. The sausage and mozzarella tasted savory, and the ramen and powdered sugar tasted sweet. My husband and I thought that it was OK overall. Brown-Sugar Bubble Tea - 4.5 stars - My husband chose this flavor of tea, and it was his favorite thing here. The total price was $23 plus tax and tip.

My husband and I have been a takeout customer of Eiwa many times over years. For our visits, the cook quickly cooked our foods, and the hostess and waiter very promptly and courteously served us. PGH roll - 4.5 stars - This maki roll contained shrimp, and I liked the flavors. Tuna-avocado roll - 4.5 stars - My husband ate this maki roll, and he seemed to enjoy it. Spicy tuna roll - 4.5 stars - This tuna sushi was fresh and moderately spicy. Rainbow roll - 4.5 stars - A California roll was topped with tuna, salmon, yellowtail, and cooked shrimp. It tasted slightly spicy. Taiyaki - 4.5 stars - This taiyaki contained red-bean paste, and it was more fried and oily than what I ate in Japan, but I still liked it. Mango boba milk - 5 stars - This bubble tea was a large size and tasted delicious. My husband has ordered it multiple times and really likes it. Strawberry boba milk - 5 stars - I enjoyed the strawberry flavor of this beverage, and I thought that the amount of boba was perfect.

This restaurant is located right on McKnight Road somewhat near the intersection with Siebert. The inside is fairly large with seating in an L-shaped configuration around the kitchen. We were seated near the back on one side where the lighting was styled like lanterns and there was also a fun mural on the wall in an almost manga style. For dinner on this evening I decided to go with the Golden Katsu Curry Ramen while my wife went with the tonkotsu ramen and my kids split a happy cat noodles. My ramen was described as served with house-made curry broth simmered with tender potato and carrot chunks, wavy noodles and topped with a crispy cutlet, half marinated egg, sweet corn and scallions. My wife's was described as pork broth with thin noodles, pork belly chashu, nori, bamboo shoots, fish cake, kikurage mushroom, half marinated egg, sweet corn and scallions. My kids' meal was described as chicken nuggets, soy sauce-based plain noodles, assorted vegetables, half marinated egg and one piece of mochi ice cream. They first brought out the wrong item for my kids but once we mentioned it they quickly corrected it and brought out the right dish. My curry ended up being really good. The chicken cutlet was crispy, the noodles were bouncy and I enjoyed the sweetness from the corn. The star of the show for me though was the Japanese curry which had a rich flavor with warm and inviting spices. My wife loved her ramen as well and we were all impressed with the quality of the kids' meal, especially the chicken and the flavor of the noodles. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Everyone in my family enjoyed their food and we appreciated that it felt both fun and family friendly.

It's right in the heart of Squirrel Hill on Forbes Avenue, near countless other shops and restaurants, so an easy stop if you are in this area. If you get it in a cup instead of a cone you can add a number of toppings, or they also have parfaits. Of course in addition to the ice cream they have Matcha drinks as well as a variety of other drinks. My friend got a brown sugar Boba and it looked creamy and delicious. I know I'm going to stop by here frequently to try many different menu items.
