    Boba Ordering Instructions

This is a cute boba tea shop right on Centre Ave. There is a small parking lot in the back, which makes it super easy to stop in. I had a Thai iced tea with tapioca boba and a taro doughnut. Both were delicious. The menu was very detailed and the staff were helpful with answering questions and making recommendations. Highly recommend!

I thought this place was cute, might need some music in the shop as it was pretty quiet. I got the Special - Brown Sugar Oreo Boba Milk Tea - and it was delicious!!! I paired it with a chocolate mochi donut which was pretty good, it didn't seem the freshest, but I did go in the afternoon so that one's probably on me. The service was nice, they offer a kiosk or you can order at the register. Their menu is easy to see with multiple screen/ and paper copies hung around the shop as well as QR codes which was nice. There is also a guide on how to order your drink which I really liked. The only reason I wouldn't give it more stars was the lack of premade specialty drink options - I'm never sure what will taste good and I love a fancy milk tea. The only special drinks were the Oreo boba milk tea and a strawberry cheesecake one, I just would have liked more options like these. It just felt kind of overwhelming and limited looking at the options whereas if you go to tsocaa they have a vast array of specialty drinks. I also wish there had been outdoor seating, - but idk if that's in their power or not - I wish I could give it 3-1/2 stars bc 3 is honestly a bit too low. I recommend going and trying it out! Cute shop, delicious drink!

Bubble Bee is a small restaurant chain that currently has locations in the Shadyside neighborhood, Ross Park Mall, and South Hills Village Mall. I recently visited this Bubble Bee in Shadyside. I appreciated that this restaurant has a free parking lot, which is rare in the city. When I entered the restaurant, two employees promptly and kindly greeted me. I ordered two popping fruit teas and two mochi donuts in different flavors. The prices were about a few dollars each. An employee gave me bags so that I could more easily carry my drinks and donuts. My husband and I ate our teas and donuts at home. I rate my strawberry popping fruit tea as 5 stars, my strawberry mochi donut as 4.5 stars, my husband's passion-fruit popping fruit tea as 4.5 stars (it could have used more popping balls), and my husband's milk-chocolate mochi donut as 4 stars.

This location is between Bloomfield and Shadyside, so the fact that it has a dedicated parking lot was a win in my book! That was the first plus I noticed, and it only got better from there. The Brown Sugar Oreo Boba Milk Tea, one of Bubble Bee's specials, is not too sweet but definitely satisfies that sweet tooth craving. The double chocolate mochi donut was . I went around 11 AM and it tasted fresh. In addition to the clutch parking + treats, the staff answered my questions and I got to look at the cute decor while I waited. Overarching thought: can't wait to go again

4.0/5 Stars I really like this place and think it's worth a visit if you're a tea lover. It's very clear their teas are brewed fresh and not too sweet. If you're used to having to ask for "less sweet" at other shops due to their overwhelming affinity with sugar, you don't need to worry about that here. That was a HUGE plus. I loved the owners here. Their mochi donuts were a solid choice if you've never tried one in the past, but wish they were a bit fresher. My matcha mochi donut had a nice pronounced flavor with a sugary icing. If everything described sounds good to you, please stop by!

I really wanted to try the piña colada special but I was told they were out of it so then I decided to order the dragon fruit fruit tea with rainbow boba but they were out of rainbow boba so I was striking out and became indecisive. I ended up trying the pineapple fruit tea with mango boba and a strawberry mochi donut. The drink was good, the donut has a funnel cake-ish taste to me it was good but different. They had a lot of different toppings that sound very interesting but I was hesitant to try. I wish I was with somebody who knew the products more. The café is a cute little shop right down the street from Shadyside Hospital, there is plenty of parking in the back, which is a bonus because at first I passed it up and thought I was going to have to go around the block to find parking.

So excited it's finally open! A little pricier than other bubble tea shops but it's worth it! Sign up for the rewards program - you get $5 off at 50 points, and after buying two drinks we are halfway there. Coconut smoothie and lemon tea are both delicious. Love the option to get "rainbow" popping boba with all the flavors! Can't wait to go back and try more drinks.. plus the apps and soup! Service was friendly and fast - they are as excited to finally be open as we are to have them. Welcome to the neighborhood!

A very nice little bubble tea shop on Centre Ave. The atmosphere is quite good and the company's entire branding just has a feel good feel to it. They also have a shop in Ross Park Mall. I tried out their classic brown sugar milk tea as well as a milk chocolate mocha donut. To be honest, the brown sugar boba was pretty average. There wasn't anything too special about it. Nice and light drink, not crazy sweet, which was nice. Not much boba in it though. Price was okay. They had a donut and drink combo for a decent price. The real star of this snack break was the mochi donut. It's got a very cool, chewy texture to it. The milk chocolate on top really added a lovely sweet touch to it. I would even definitely recommend trying one. All in all, a cute little boba shop. Decent drinks, but the mochi donuts are what are really unique and tasty.

I went on a Saturday morning at 11am with two other people to get boba and snacks at Bubble Bee. Sadly, there is no food menu currently - my understanding is that their chef got into some sort of accident playing soccer but will be back to make food again once they're recovered. It's a cute little spot with a handful of small tables good for small groups. The inside is bright and clean. You order off an iPad at a kiosk. Our boba orders came out pretty quickly and the strawberry cheesecake boba was delicious. I would definitely come back to try their food and other boba offerings!

I got the passion fruit bubble tea with tapioca and it was great. My husbands swears the taro bubble tea was one of his favorites ever and that's saying a lot. I love that there's a parking lot in the plaza being a back entrance to the store. Super quick and simple ordering - can order in person or there's a tablet you can self order. Overall the bubble tea was good, and extra perks for the parking lot!

My friend and I came to try Bubble Bee out for the first time and I enjoyed it. I got the dragon fruit tea with rainbow popping boba and a matcha donut. The matcha donuts are gluten free so that was a nice surprise! My favorite part was the rainbow boba, which is a combination of different boba flavors. Our server was very sweet and super helpful! I do wish they had some outdoor seating on the patio that's outback, the inside of the shop is super cute though.

After walking around the neighborhood, this one had seating, so we went inside. First, I'll say the coffee we tried was pretty good - a cappuccino and a brown sugar cinnamon latte. The barista asked "for here or to go" and the drinks still came in a paper cup anyway despite us saying "for here". I really enjoy having a coffee in an actual glass/mug when I say "for here". The ambiance was a bit confusing... not really sure what they were going for in the space, things were a bit choppy and thrown together. Kinda felt like you were in someone's garage with cluttered items on rickety shelves behind the counter. Our barista was very nice, but an awkward moment occurred when they were ringing us up - barista asked for a tip but then told us not to put the tip on the credit card because the owner steals from them. We felt this was a little uncomfortable and gave some unwelcoming energy. We also tried a Nutella croissant, which was very good! I think this shop has a lot of potential with some changes to service and decor.

The first time I ordered an espresso beverage with the light roast option and what I received did not taste anything close to light. While I…read morethink Espresso a Mano has the better espresso drinks,* Constellation has fantastic pour over: You won't find a better selection of high-end coffee beans anywhere else in Pittsburgh, and no other cafe in the city comes close. The bean offerings are always excellent, varied, and carefully curated. Selecting among them may feel intimidating, but the baristas are very knowledgeable and helpful. If you don't have much or any experience with pour over coffee, you should make sure to ask them for suggestions, and they will guide you towards a good selection. If you are coffee snob with a rotating selection of extra-light beans on your kitchen counter... well you should still chat with the baristas and they can tell you all about what they offer, what tasting notes to expect, what they are excited about, and so on. I am in the latter category, and I always enjoy chatting with the baristas here and learning about their coffee. I also appreciate that, in the summer, you can choose to have a Japanese-style iced pour over (the one that's brewed hot directly onto ice). You don't find that often in cafes, and certainly nowhere else in Pittsburgh. Besides coffee, the ambiance is great. There is not much traffic, so it's a pretty calm place to sit down and work or read a book. I love sitting at the large table in the back room for a few hours and working from there, while enjoying a cup or two of different pour overs. Overall, we are lucky to have Constellation . While Pittsburgh can't compare with the "third-wave" coffee scene in cities like Seattle or Vancouver, Constellation can certainly compete with the best cafes in such cities. *The espresso here is also great, don't get me wrong, especially when they offer a light roast. But I just like the one at Espresso a Mano better. I do wish Constellation offered an espresso flight; given the variety of beans they offer, that would be a unique coffee-drinking experience.

The reason is simple: It's the best espresso in Pittsburgh. Both the plain espresso and the milky drinks (at least the macchiato and cortado, I don't generally enjoy cappuccino or latte) are executed perfectly and taste great. I like the espresso so much, the beans I use for my own espresso at home are always from here. I also enjoy the ambiance at this cafe. In the summer, I love to sit at the long bench by the entrance and watch the traffic outside while enjoying the sun. And in the winter, the interior feels very cozy and is a great place to hang out and chat with a friend. They also display art from (I believe) local artists, and you can buy pieces you like. I have not tried any of the baked goods or non-espresso drinks, so I can't comment on those first hand--though my partner did try the hot chocolate and was raving about it.
